This trilogy had so many little Easter eggs
So like for somebody I fucked once part 1 at the ending scene Zolita is about to be prom queen,you can see she's a bit fearful to come out she is closeted but the thought of Tatchi being with someone else perhaps gives her strength to come to terms with her identity so she comes of her prom stage walks proudly, and kisses tatchi
If you look at 10:00 in the directors cut video there was a secret tumbler site(for the fansa) where we get to see the diary entries,text messages,pictures,easter eggs 🥰, midway between part 3
But in the part 3 ending it's a bit different because this time,after the 7 years break,she's literally singing the song itself affirming and deciding to choose her again,to choose the relationship again and she's not walking off the stage this time to come out she's walking off the stage to the person she's loved and has always loved,the person whose always made her happy even when there paths took different turns.
It's beautiful to see how tiny the differences but how much meaning they hold🥰.Even with the makeup,it makes them look a bit older, like they've changed and grown but the core parts of them are still the same look and they both "loves seeing each other accomplish their goals"
This brings me to my final thing to say,in a world where so many sapphic movies are seldom happy endings ,this *was* NEEDED,and another thing let's give the queen a round of applause for giving something hopeful realistic and happy, sometimes you can meet the right person just not at the best time and it means you're not gonna be able to have the full experience u want because of certain boundaries be it different colleges different dreams in different locations,maturity levels etc. Sometimes you're gonna have to leave each other to enhance your own self again before you can get into a relationship and this is so healthy.
Another thing I appreciated as well is a shout-out to cinematographers the music technicians,and one of the original sapphic youtubers (other than rose and rose or cammie)who actually started to bring awareness to was Shannon's channel, thank you Shannon for being in this video,it added extra magic to it
