I had to stop using Polarized glasses...they make the TFT (LCD) display screen for my electric assist go black.. I wish that the makers of ebike displays would make a "Sunlight Readable TFT" All of the ebike manufacturers us "standardTFT" not the same thing. One you can see in direct sunlight, one you can't. Polarization only makes a Standard TFT worse. So ask the shop owner if you can test the sunglasses before you purchase them.
@@TheGiantTriker Garmin uses a "Sunlight Readable TFT" display.. That is why it is visible. The ebike manufacturers could use that tech... Standard TFT is only good at night.. Nice glasses..
@@TheGiantTriker ok i wanted to get a 1000 watt middrive and i was told by the dealer its too hard on the boom and i should go with a 500 or 750.. i added the 750 but i'm thinking of calling and changing it to a 1000watt. do you feel the 750 is hard on your boom bar?
I'm not sure why it would be hard on your boom. Imagine if you could double your pedaling power. That's not going to break it. The extra force of pulling is parallel with the boom, not twisting it or pulling it up or down. So, I don't know.
My sunglasses have saved me from bees, gnats, and rocks. BTW: gnats don't taste too bad and I believe they are zero calories. Happy riding!
How fast are you going Mr.Giant😊
I think I got a 15 Mph average on this ride. I think something about the 360 camera makes things look faster too. :)

My Garmin edge seems unaffected by polarization, so they did something right there. But the eassist display is pretty much useless. :)
