These car "testing" devices seem to be gimics. The most they seem to be able to tell you is if a plug is getting spark and maybe the vacuum on the intake as a carb indicator. Pretty useless gauges to have especially in ground based vehicles. The only real value in the rig is the keyed ignition.

I remember Scott receivers over 50 years ago, being 80, a licensed amateur
radio operator for over 62 years, since 17 years old, first listening to MW, then
    SW and finally amateur radio since then. WV2ZPD, WA2ZPD, WB7EGN, WB1BTO, W2CH, and V25CH in Antigua. 😅

I have not heard of Scott Radios, fascinating video and researched with passion, most enjoyable. Raymond there is nothing like the glow of valves (tubes) in the early hours and the smell of dust whilst listening to some far off station.

We saw the Air Force 1 President Reagan had used, at the Reagan
    museum near Los Angeles, CA,
    twice there about 2015-16. 😅.
