  • In this chemistry tutorial video, we will introduce Beer's Law or the Beer-Lambert Law (A=abc) and its implications for the relationship between absorbance and concentration of a colored substance. We will look at how absorbance is measured and how experiments would be run with a spectrophotometer. We will look at how to decide what wavelength to run an experiment at, different sources of error, how to create and use a calibration curve, and how to approach certain Beer's law problems with a proportion.
