EU-ASEAN Businesses on Green Investments and the Implementation of the Global Gateway Strategy

Global Gateway is Europe’s offer to its partners for smart, clean and secure infrastructure and links. It boosts sustainable investments in digital transport, energy and climate relevant sectors and in health, education and research systems. It will help to tackle the most pressing global challenges, from fighting climate change to improving health systems and making economies more resilient. For ASEAN, Team Europe is committed to invest EUR 10 billion by 2027 to support ASEAN’s green transition.
The partners’ dialogue event series is designed as a platform to engage key stakeholders of the Global Gateway strategy in ASEAN. The first partners’ dialogue was held on 24 June 2024 in Jakarta with a focus on research and education. A total of 415 EU-ASEAN researchers and academia participated in the hybrid event.
The Partner’s Dialogue will be hosted by the Delegation of the European Union to ASEAN in Jakarta, Indonesia in collaboration with the EU-ASEAN Business Council and the European Investment Bank (EIB).
