I retired last November. I love that I can sew anytime now. You will be so happy
I think I first saw you sewing your Irish chain around August/ September last year. I remember I started my quilt on the side about the same time. I finished mine a few weeks ago, but it was only 56”x60”

I started my Enders, leaders Irish chain using 1 1/2 scraps in March. I’m hoping no longer than a year to be able to put it together 🤞🏼. I don’t sew as much as you 😊
You always make me hungry when you talk about food. Leaves me wondering what I can snack on 😂 I need to start a quilt on the side but can’t decide if I want to use 1.5” or 2.5” scraps. Really like the look of your Scrappy Irish Chain. May go with 1.5”…seem to have more of them right now. But I need a cute bowl to use like your red and white polka dot ❤ See you next time.

My Irish Chain, I put 2 together, then instead of 4x1, I made 2x2, then 4x2, 4x4, 8x4, 8x8. Just seemed easier to me.

I too loved math, but the “new” math is horrible! My god daughter is super smart but struggles with the new crap! I can’t wait to see this quilt done, it’s a fun pattern.
I read recently Crackerbarrel was going to remodel their stores....did you notice anything different? That quilt pattern of Lori Holt is great for
scraps...I have that book also and have made three quilts from that book already. What batting do you use for your quilts...cotton cotton blend, or
polyester??
No remodels here yet. I don’t know what kind of batting is used because my Quilter provides that and I never asked ha ha ha
This is pretty. I am going to make this. Did you say you started it with 1 1/2 squares. Would you make strip sets? Which is best?
I used 1.5 squares from my scraps. But you can def use strips!! That would be quicker just less scrappy
