Ace veteran panist Kernel Simon shares the trials and tribulations he experienced as captain of top ranking Despers USA Steel Orchestra in New York City. Following and extremely difficult season Simon takes us through the difficulty of navigating a panyard in a new location after 50 years in another. With special help and encouragement from fellow captains Candice Andrews-Brumant of Trinidad and Tobago legacy bands Renegades Steel Orchestra and Desiree Myers of Invaders Steel Orchestra Kernel Simon met the challenge of leading a panorama organization to continued success.
