I have used this as well and I LOVE it for my Triple 'C' Hair (Coarse, Curly, Colored) Silicone - Free so I know the 'Actives' and Oils are actually doing something and boy does it!!! Soft, shiny and well hydrated without a greasy oily feel and the hair improves a little more with each use. I had to use it for 5 to 6 times before I got a significant amount of smoothness but the smoothness would last and not 'Disappear' each time I washed without using the mask . If you are used to Silicone based or Silicone enriched products this is NOT going to give you the same 'Slip' and 'Smoothness' but will eventually make your hair naturally smoother and softer.

I used to have several 'Holy Grail' hair products - L'Oreal The Hair Fixer (Ineral), Zotos Acclaim Plus Keratin Building Factor, Joico Nucleic Pak, Nexxus Epitome and KerapHix, Jhirmack Nutri-Pak and ApHogee, Redken ppt-s77 and pHinal pHase, KMS Liquid Assets and others, these products used in various combinations could bring hair "Back From The Dead" hair so hopelessly damaged the only solution was to cut off as much as you could and wait for it to grow and these products used in combinations would make the hair almost 'Virgin' again.

The banana one didn't detangle my hair either...but it was actually difficult to rinse off...I had expectations and it was terrible. And honestly that's like 5eur and I can get 1kg of kallos vegan mask (hungarian low cost) for 3 eur and it makes a better effect. I will try loreal inforcer soon or bonacure moisture kick. These garnier hair food are an hard pass for me
I love this mask, I don't have the tangle problem. I believe it depends on the type of hair, I suffer from dry hair. I use it as a conditioner most of the type.

@@heidiguttenberg the brand is Macadamia oil. I like many of their products but for my bleached and thirsty hair that hairmask wasn't enough 🤣🤣.🤦♀️🤦♀️
I’ve been using the Macedamia one and just purchased the Aloe Vera one because I love them so much! They make my hair so wonderful. Doesn’t hold my curls too well tho
Maybe I should have tried those instead 🤔
Heidi I mainly use hair masks/leave-in conditioners because I want to grow out my hair and keep it healthy and hydrated. I haven’t tried that many but these def help. They can be used as a mild curlingcreme:) in the winter months I use coconut oil on my ends instead because the air is so drying. Hope I could help!

Hace casi un mes que estoy entre Olaplex, Frenzzi y L'oreal Ever y la verdad tengo el pelo re bien, mucho mejor que antes, AUNQUE al principio pensé que era una porquería lo que me compré porque sentí el pelo un poco seco y el acondicionador no parecía dejarlo suave. Pero al 3er lavado más o menos empezó a hacer efecto todo! Creo que porque se me salió toda la porquería que venía acumulando antes, sobretodo la silicona, pero bueno, es una sensación mía. Besos!!

You should try and test a diy avocado hair mask :) I just put one avocado and olive oil in a blender and blend through till its creamy and it leaves my hair superrrr soft.

I tried many different hair food masks but I did not like them. But..the banana one is really really good and you can see your hair improving after 3 uses when I was using it my best friend asked me what I have done with my hair because it was in such a good condition. Some of the ingredients of the banana mask are: Shea butter,olive oil,banana fruit juice, rosemary leaf extract, coconut oil, avocado oil... If I want to grow my hair I swear by this mask

I agree with Garnier masks. I have bleached hair and I am constantly trying new masks since I haven't fount my 'it' mask yet. However, Garnier masks, unfortunately, make my hair super tangly and I have tried multiple. I do thing their masks are not for bleached hair. You should give try tho to L'oreal Botanicals, they are a bit pricier but the quality is incredible for the price. It feeds the hair and do not have silicones!

I agree with you! One shouldn’t. I only do it with my tangle teezer and also usually don’t go for hair masks that don’t do most of the job for me.
Have you tried the function of beauty products
Honestly ingredients below citric acid or parfum are the lowest concentration because they need to be used in very low concentration so citric acid or salicylic acid don't break the hair off, so if anything is below them, they are in very low concentration. Sometimes some ingredients need very low concentrations to work as an ex. hyaluronic acid but it's not for the avocado oil.
I think maybe your hair was actually missing a little bit of silicone to give it some slip as you detangle it. As you said, it's probably great as a regular conditioner paired with a serum or styling oil!

From my understanding glycerin high up in the ingredients will make hair frizz. As much as I like the moisture from glycerin I pass on formulations with a lot of glycerin. I’ll hard pass on this mask.

I use the macademia version of this mask as a pre wash mask (if that even exist). I put it in my dry hair, let it sit for as long as I want and then wash en conditioner my hair. This way it really works for my hair :)

If you were expecting soft hair you should have use the goji mask (the red one) that's for hydration. The avocado mask is for nutrition.
Also, these masks don't have silicones so your hair is going to react differently if you are used to products with silicons.

Yo probé la de coco y no me funciono tampoco .. es una odisea en el verano el tema del pelo con el sol y la pileta .. en mi caso voy a optar por un alisado que me hago cada seis meses que no contiene formol y realmente me lo deja bien .. es extraño pero siento que lo recompone al cabello y con este particularmente no noto que al tiempo comience a ponerse feo .. sigo de todos modos con el olaplex y la artillería pesada ... nunca te hiciste alisado ? Heidi si la de coco mala también .. con respecto al alisado té digo que me he hecho desastres .. hay muchos productos malos en el mercado que te arruinan el pelo .. de forma casera el que probé es uno de alfa parf que son tres o cuatro pasos y viene un kit chico casero .. es excelente y no corres el riesgo de arruinar el pelo .. y en la peluquería que voy que es una pelu de barrio chiquita de unos chicos que son súper macanudos y encima usan olaplex! Jaja bueno con ellos me hago uno que me dura mas tiempo porque me hacen el brushing bien .. ellos usan uno de silkey todos sin formol .. la macana es que el de silkey.. bueno ! you got knots because you didn't wash it all off. if you gonna leave it in , its normally for a curly hair do, not a blow dry. i use this in my hair and my hair comes out super soft every time.
i tried the aloe vera one and i absolutly hated it , it felt really heavy on my hair ,and detangling was a nightmare ( i have fine hair ), i didn't finish it , worst mask ever .

Finally, you are trying one of Garnier hair masks💖💖💖💖 thank you so much for taking into consideration my advice. Ps, when you have time, try the Bothanic line from Garnier and you rinse it off completly. It does it job , but only if you rinse it well and leave it more. I do a night treatment and in the morning I rinse it very well. During night time it penetrats the hair better.😊😊😊 Take care of you and keep making these beautiful videos😘😘😘

I don’t know 🤷♀️ It is a leave in conditioner too, so that shouldn’t result in something bad. And it didn’t feel greasy or heavy... I think I would have preferred that to what I got. ☹️

@@heidiguttenberg im still learning but from what i know hair that has been bleached and is damaged will change the porosity of the hair. then u have to check the porosity of your hair as times passes. and depending on that its either liquid/cream/oil or liquid/oil/cream after each wash. theres many long hair/hair care fb groups the ones im in are the Curly Proverbs Rice water challenge and facebook.com/groups/1832348350112052/
the only thing that truly helped my bleach hair was olaplex, aphogee 2 step and rice water for strength. flaxseed gel as well as a "sealant" bc oil is not a moisturiser u will need a leave in (natural or chemical)

Summertime is very tricky for me too. I struggle a lot with dryness and frizz. The ends can get so dry they hurt my skin!! 😳. So i like to use waters of aloe vera, coconut, apple cider vinegar or rice 30min before washing my hair. I literally soak my hair on them. They are great to give moisture back. I also stay away from heat as much as possible, only doing blowouts once in 15 days - it’s so hard, but worth it
It is ok as a leave in. But still it doesnt work... Idk... I dont like it eather. To be honest.

My hair are straight from the scalp to shoulder and below that they are long curls. I use the garnier hair mask instead of a gel and its perfect, it smells like I'm fresh out of a saloon.
