im sorry but i fucking love the "ive gone beyond the need of easing" meme LMAOOOOO i for one am an all linear fanatic that even uses all linear for my camerawork sometimes (splitspam my beloved)
Dang never would I have thought to be listening at camera zooming techniques in Roblox right now, but also I noticed your channel is pretty underrated, keep it up man!
i use in-out to slow down the movement and then resume it again, but always in the middle of the animation cause of how abrupt it is, so like a quick inspection of a bandage on the arm, the arm swiftly enters the front of your character, and swifltly leaves, begining and ending with other styles, reducing a ton of keyframes and potencial errors that i could do in between
Oh me definitely. I primarily use Linear and Back for my animations, mostly because I have no need for anything else for the specific animation I'm doing, but MAN. I always wondered why OutIn was a thing, but after watching this video, I'm just starting to realize how useful it could actually be. Too bad I'm probably still not going to use it though, just good to know whenever I do. 👍
i animate and script in roblox, and the only actual uses i found for out-in are * some sort of ui element coming in from the side, and exiting from the other side (so you have some time to see it) * the end
i used to flippin set the entirety of my animation to quad inout but then I realized it looked like ass so I watch the anticipation drag and shi so like yeah I'm good with linear now

Yo this looks interesting, I honestly should implement this more into my animations
I'm definitely using this in one of my next cinematics! Great job
Very informative, I never thought of using OutIn easing style till now. Amazing video.
Thank you person I never met and not an admin on the server
@@RoSpecVidPro i hope rsvp never succeeds 🙏
@@silverhandfilms That's cool
you are really underrated, you make amazing content plus this is informative for me since i'm new to easing styles. keep making awsome content man!
biggest lie of the century, in and out are a must for animating falls and jumps
Yes but this is about OutIn, which is not even an easing direction that Roblox include in its API documentation anymore.

this is so cool i wanna try this easing style now

When you try blender, moon animator easing becomes weird
I dont remember the last time i used anything other than linear and sine
Congrats on being either side of the bell curve
@@RoSpecVidPro as an animator of 4 years, im unsure which side

for smoothest animation, linear is probably the best option
if you place a keyframe every 5 or 10 frames, it can become sorta like ease style
If your animation looks good in constant, it'll reflect on linear and the other eases will look better based on when u use them
@@13physc i always used linear and it always looks more effort are put into the animation
@@the87player yea we are basically making our own eases with each keyframe
0:11 i just use linear so all my animations look choppy and i like it! ;D jk im not an animator but i do make animations sometimes and i use linear
you r legit underrated
Thank you
rinken is cooking frfrf
Please teach us how to animate camera and characters together next
There are other UA-cam videos that covers that topic broadly.
