As a thought, it would be pretty easy to implement a quick P1dB automated measurement within the UI of a sig gen that has integrated power sensor support ...

Thanks! And yes (R&S) already supports this with some of our sig gens. In fact, I made a video - "Using NRP Power Analysis - Power Mode" - that shows exactly this application 😃
