You're not wrong. Bringing the ZX81s own character set in, makes it that bit more special I find. :D

Looks like a game that you think, 'Well this looks easy enough!'. Two hours later, you're pulling your hair out on screen four and hitting "RESTART" for the 115th time, whilst screaming, "I WILL NOT BE BEATEN!".

Imagine that film. Every twenty minutes or so, I have to stop and rest and I repeatedly get ever characters names wrong on the screen. "Marion...No...Mutt...No...Sallah...DON'T TELL ME!...It's Toht isn't it? I knew it was Toht!"

Fairly sure the minotaur can smell you coming mate, I suggest you have your yearly bath before you play it next.
