i really want for the sims hair to grow out as the days and weeks go by like how the beard grew in the witcher 3 and the option to put the hair in a style at the mirrow or something. also the lawn growing to like the hair growth.
im using the mod for that and it dont slow it down that much, i rather play with the mod than without it, i like a living world not a micromanagement one. plus the majority of my pc games have mods, my skyrim has the most mods but im greedy with mods on that game, well considering i also make my own.

As my characters age and keep popping new generations the rest of the world is becoming populated with elders and dying, which is really depressing to experience . To avoid that i have to regularly add some extra sims i won't play with, adopt, hook up couples and make families out of need, not because i enjoy it. That takes a while, and that's time away from my played households which i don't want to keep on hold.
What he is saying is that he wants the Sims to be more realistic. To be able to have other real life experiences. And just saying I feel as if EA should make the Sims 5 to travel so you can be able to go to other states and continents I think that would be cool. And maybe when you travel you can like rent out a motel room or something.

I think it would be really cool if they make a 'go to school' pack, something like go to work, but then of course kids/students who go to school and you can go with them and attend their lessons and stuff. And also that you can play as the teacher. and what you said in the video about going to the supermarket is also a really cool idea! I like that a lot. To bring some open world back and make a little shopping street for example. Where you can go into the shops and buy stuff. Who knows in the future (:
I have an AMAZING IDEA: The hair will be like you choose the type of the hair like straight wavy curly frizzy etc. and like you can change the length with a slider or by dragging it. And then there are different hair styles like in a bun or a ponytail or like an updo or a braid etc. but it will still keep the hair type in it like let's say you want curly hair and you want it to be kind of short. You want to put it in a ponytail. The hair will still be curly and short but in a ponytail. I really think this would make the sims really unique and different.

I would also love if you had more options in choosing clothing like choose a tank top for example and combine it with a seperately chooseable cardigan but maybe that's a bit too much... Yes Definately like the age stages I would love to be able to interact with babies more like all the new things they learn like rolling over and crawling, and more baby things like clothes, car seats, strollers, ect.

EA/Maxis: hire this man! Great ideas, man. One of the things that I would really like to see is a way to restrict certain content to certain neighborhoods. One of the things that has always bothered me about the sims is that you can take your sims to cool places, but unless it's a Maxis-made world, all the sims look the same. They're loaded with the same outfits and the same sims show up in every neighborhood. I'd like a way to load different content into different worlds so that each world has its own distinct look and feel, maybe even something approaching 'culture.' Maybe different jobs are available in different worlds, or the sims speak different languages. Just think how much creativity that would allow! I think the Sims 5 needs an improved clock, too. It shouldn't take 15 or 20 minutes to climb a flight of stairs. I think it's unrealistic to ask for pets from day 1, but I would love to have some interactive community animals (squirrels, mice, birds, snakes, insects, etc.). Finally, I think we need a better way of managing and culling CC. CC should be easy to install, easy to remove, and if something is causing a problem, it should be easier to pinpoint which mod it may be.
I definitely agree with the culture aspect. I wiped out an entire neighborhood because the Sims occupying it made it appear too gentrified, but then I found out the game puts more random sims in... lol. That's why I enjoy Sims 4 Jungle Adventures so much, and that's also why I enjoyed The Urbz for GameCube. It was all about neighborhood cultures. I'm not sure if I would go as far as putting different languages since Simlish will always be entertaining to me, but I'm all for different interactions depending on how familiar you are with a culture/neighborhood, and different jobs in different neighborhoods (like agriculture in a rural neighborhood, or factory work in an industrial area). Less progressive jobs for adults are missing in Sims 4. Getting to level 10 in any career is time-consuming without adding actual gameplay, so I think odd jobs/part-time jobs with more challenge and entertainment for the player, like mini-games for example, would be cool. Plus, sometimes you just want your sim to be a librarian or gym trainer.
Your idea is great. I have always regretted why there is no animal farm or other smaller town or village where people are farmers and this involves not only planting fruit and vegetables, but also animals such as ducks, cows, hens hahaha. Being able to develop your farm and hire people to help you and pay them as a boss, to open a store in front of your house and hire someone to sell from your production, it will be very good because a lot people like to play on farm games.
Preteens! Milestone scenes! And the little funny details like farting, sneaking out, slapping each other and just the cute funny interactions from sims 2. I want to laugh again while i play the game not do routine things that gets boring.
I love the idea of teens sneaking out. They could even just be sneaking out to go to friends houses or regular places and it would be so cool. Then they should occasionally get caught (not sure how that would work? would it be autonomous or would you have a "catch child sneaking out" option?) and get grounded! It sounds so weird but I think being able to ground teens for a day or two so they can't go anywhere besides school and work and can't watch tv or go on the computer or phone would be so funny lol. Also, the kids should be able to have crushes. JUST CRUSHES NOTHING WEIRD lol. And they should be able to be mean to them bc they actually like them and chase them around and stuff LOL. Cause it would be really cute if you could marry Sims that were childhood sweethearts haha.
can we talk about the fact that we actually need an actual school feature and not just like the child/teen to just disappear, i mean it would be cool to get at least a scoop of their school life, i mean the Sims 4 School Mod is pretty cool but its not as enjoyable and it feels limited.
I have my list of what should be in: 1. Rain and small storms 2. Simple cats and dogs 3. 3 world's that are all smaller than sims 3, but open world. 4. Stronger personality 5. Memories and stronger reactions 6. Cars 7. Improved graphics (no duh) 8. Pre-teens and maybe middle age 9. A realistic and casual setting for games 10. Toddlers, ghosts, dishwashers, aliens, family tree, cars, acne, pools, diving boards, and spiral staircases at first day release. 11. (recommended) Improved stairs and foundation.
You REALLY should be working with the Sim Gurus! But please please PLEASE don't forget about height differences! I LOVE the height slider mod, but I can't stand when you have a really short sim and a really tall one try to kiss and the animation just fails... So height differences, absolutely. And I'd also enjoy more realistic and improved careers with many to pick from, cause the ones in TS4 make me sad, LOL! Andddd I'd prefer for babies to have more interactions! High chairs, strollers, bouncers, swings, rocking chairs, play pens- all of that stuff from TS3 that I couldn't use due to my game not being able to take CC and store content. Also, I wanna be able to dress my babies again. I miss that feature from TS3. Just more genuine gameplay for the kids and the families. And open worlds, of course. But right now, I'm just waiting for seasons for TS4 and then I'll be happy, haha
Even if they didn't include a height slider they could include, say, three heights that you can pick between (so like in the CAS menu you'd just select "short" "average" or "tall" and each one has slightly different animations)
I always wanted GTA5 and Sims to combine together. So you can drive your family around and explore the map stuff like that... that would be pretty cool
I want vehicles(cars, bicycles, motorcycles) back in this game and places to drive to,* drop the stupid rabbit holes* to go anywhere. There are rabbit holes to even go visit a neighbor across the street and to even go up the street...ridiculous! These ideas are accurate and some good points are stated, but whilst I'm scrolling through the comments i see loads of negativity related to what he's saying I think there pretty good ideas but that's just my opinion that's what everyone is forgetting what he's saying is his own opinion. Like he's stating his own ideas and what he thinks will benefit the community of the sims, it's really upsetting to see so many negative people putting other ideas down
some of his ideas are very good, but a lot of them just don't go along with wjat the brand of sims is and what the game is. Also most of the things he wants would make the game lag or be unplayable for many as well as too expensive
I don't think they're saying this stuff to be mean, I think they're stating their own opinions as well and there's nothing wrong with that :) But yeah, if we're going to be realistic a game like this isn't possible. While I do enjoy some of his ideas, and some of them are possible, having all these features wouldn't be realistic. You'd have to have an out of this world computer to be able to handle all of this. The programming in some aspects are far too complicated; they would have to go through like thousands alpha and beta testings because there would be so many bugs to find and fix. It would take too much time; game companies are all about the profits and time equals money. Not to speak of all the *current* features that are being cut out of the game due to lack of time. When you work in a game company you work in itirations and since you have deadlines, you have to prioritise things.

I'd love this in all honesty, a child will often times than not get sick, it's how life works and it's not embarrassing or stupid. If by going to the doctor they could run tests and figure out what kind of food these children could be allergic to. Example: Mia has pollen allergies and is lactose intolerant, better watch out for those cow plants. It could even be fun with EA joking around with us, having one flu saying "You better not run, we'll catch up to you. Maxis cold is just around the corner." I'd love that. Believe it or not, I've been giving this a lot of thought and it could bring us closer to the franchise as we bought the game and is familiar with their work.
I want more interactive careers. Like fashion designer, mortition/funeral director, tattoo/body mod artist, etc. I would also like more hobbies. Like knitting/sewing, hunting, bird watching, taxidermy, more sports, coloring books for kids, sculpting, model cars/planes/boats/trains, board games, comic book reading/collecting, etc. I would like children and teen Sims to have to do more with school like mandatory projects/ group projects, experiments, essays, field trips. I also want them to have report card with separate grades for each subject so your Sim will have to work harder on some subjects more than others. I want when you make a Sim for you to be able to pick favorites again like in Sims 3 but more this time. Like favorite color, food, music, season, activity, flower, animal, etc and have these choices affect the Sims personality. Same with zodiac signs. Lol I could go on and on. I need to stop my self.
I would love to see that you can like save money. Or you can open a save at the bank, for like ‘save for a new house’ and ‘save for a new car’ or thinks like that. It would open a whole new area with you saving money for those things!
You are spot on!! Not sure if you mentioned more flexibility with skin tones, hair color, and fabrics but you could add that as well. Heck... just bring back the color wheel. And by the way.. Sims 4 had much better game play than 5. So hopefully someone at EA is listening and takes your advice you just described my dream game for the sims. Good Job!
I'm hopeful though since the open world technologies have vastly improved since then. But I don't think it's only the open world. I think one of the reasons for the lag is because of just how many factors had to be accounted for. Not only for our own sims that we create, but for each NPC in any one particular world, not to mention environmental factors as well. So hopefully they found a way to manage those things better too.

How about the traits "bystander" or "outstander". Maybe a trait "broken" which means they can be bullied more often or can get depression easily. Or one called "positive" which means they can't get depressed easily or can't ever be depressed. Maybe in order to date someone, you have to fill up bars by doing stuff. Bars like... Trust: so the person they like can trust them. They can help the person in different ways. Looks: The person the Sim loves likes certain personalities, and the Sim has to find clothes that match the personality. Affection: The Sim has to show a lot of affection in order for the Sim's crush to think they would be a good couple. Maybe there can be gender preferences or homophobia. Like, straight, bisexual, gay, and so on. And people that don't like gays. Maybe there could be options depending on how you introduced yourself to another Sim. Example: if you made a rude introduction, you could be rude, or apologize. And the other Sim thinks of you as "annoying". So basically your reputation for that Sim. It could go like this order: annoying, meanie, bully, enemy, nemisis. Example 2: if you made a normal introduction, you could talk about the weather, stuff that's coming up but no actions available, exept possibly a "shrug" animation. And your reputation for the Sim would be "nobody". The reputation could go in this order: nobody, normal, comforter, kind of friendly, neighbor. Example 3: if you made a nice introduction, you could talk about amazing stuff, and lots of nice actions available. And your reputation for the other Sim would be "cool" again, the order: cool, friendly person, friend, best friend, family. But again, these are my ideas. I'm just a weirdo so...
Age Stages: YES! I totally agree! This is the number one thing I would like them to include in the next game. As a person who's studying about educating preschool children, it always felt weird not to control children who are supposed to be 3-5 in the sims (needless to say, there are no kindergartents either and that's sad...). It's a bit silly to go from infant baby to toddler and then suddenly, the child is able to talk/walk/use the loo etc on his own, even if noone bothered to teach him before. I would like many changes in the sims game actually (the ability to have different heights, disabilities etc) but I know that we can't have everything and it's a game after all.
katepault To add to that, I'd like to be able to alter their lives, like spoil one child while making another child not have a childhood. Maybe send one to military school, while the other gets home schooled.
You were able to do those things in The Sims 3 where you can teach your toddler to walk, go to the potty, etc. It's just shocking when Sims 4 simmers ask for things that were in previous iterations of the game!
it would be cool so you could set alarms on the phone like when to get up and start making dinner, also have the children and teens grades affect their life. for example if a child has bad grades they cant go to a good high school, and a teen does bad it restricts the jobs they get
If Sims 5 is amazing, it will make more money than Sims 4 so it's better to work on it now. I didn't buy Sims 4 at all, and have been saving my money for Sims 5.

This video is on point. I felt like with the Sims 4 were kinda getting a scam. We pay so much for so little, the graphics aren't that huge improvement we were all hoping for and we got way less for our money. I mean come on it took forever to even get toddlers. Yes multiplayer!!! Please!! and I really like th idea of a calendar and that what happens to your sims,does have an everlasting impact on them. I don't like the gameplay since it's the same old same old every day with no real purpose or change. After you have played all careers etc. you are pretty much done with Sims. A Calendar can help plan the week or even month of the Sims and help in storytelling in my opinion. :D
I love the idea of a calendar....I heard someone suggest a lunar calendar before...doesn't have to be real seasonal months, like December, November, etc., but a calendar with just the stages of the moon on it would add a lot.
And with the age stages it should be more and gradual like voice changing facial hair growing in or breasts getting bigger the children's development as they age even with more age stages it should be more seamlessly they have already had four games in the sims series why not make one more that can develop over time instead of making another series just food for thought
I want realistic genes! For the sims themselves and other animals (be able to breed rabbits etc). Dominant and recessive genes. Genes for more different aspects like instead of inheriting identical lips from one parent or ancestor you'd inherit the width of the top and bottom lips separately and the angles would also be separate genes, same with all the other features like eyes, body shape etc.
My ideas: have triplet baby’s! have airport, (u can go inside, buy an ticket for 30-60 simleons) name brand 👟 shoes😶(like Jordan’s) barber shop, get hair done, like for boys, you get waves, get there linen, for girls, get braids, ponytails, etc add more features , like the sims 2 mostly have more animations than any other sim game and the choices reflect on the other choices! That’s it, comment ur ideas!
The game already has triplets.. you can boost the chance of having triplets by purchasing the fertile trait with ... whats it called perk points or whatever?

Deanna Horton Is this Sims 4 the first time you became a simmer? They are going to add more and more things to the game when the time is right. Programming a game takes time, money and effort. This is how things are done. And for these things to be updated in free patch is highly unlikely because they need to pay their workers and for programming.
it's hard to make "modern" clothes because the years pass by while in development this is why modded clothing is usually the most accurate, people are always making more and more clothes

I think they should include holidays too like if it was Halloween in real life they would update the world and make it Halloween theme and the same for Christmas, new year, Easter, etc.
Or simply based the holiday on the PC/Console's date just like what they do on NBA2k games, if it's christmas, commentator will acknowledge or say that it is christmas, this way it would be playable even offline.
I agree Ive thought about this a lot... and I think they could and should do this... How cool would it be if on Halloween like majority of the town had costumes on? And if the kids actually trick or treated somehow. It would be so fun!
speeeee35 They have that in the sims 3 Seasons but I think their last update for the sims 3 kinda messed the trick-or-treating up because when I play with my sims family, i hardly get any trick-or-treaters but 1 or 2 at my door.

You nailed so many good points! A definitely more in depth CAS would be cool, a lot more personality traits, favorites, etc. would be really neat have, especially height sliders. I wish they would have different options for the kind of lifestyle you want to live, weather it's off the grid, the high life...being able to choose and have that affect the kind of interactions you can do with your sims. Being able to be a celebrity in base game would be really cool. For expansions they can build off some of the features in the base game as well. or come up with stuff that's never ever been done before, new life forms we haven't seen, more options for building. ALSO CURVED WALLS!!

If it's like Sim City, then it won't be that bad. You could just exit out of the menu when it pops up. Or at the most you would just click a "pay bills" button.
The thing is, this game isn't meant to be an accurate life simulation. It's meant to be weird and whacky. That's what sims do. They are SIMS. That is what they do. They are different. They shouldn't be just like us.

The thing with this is that Sims 5 would be WAY too expensive already, and EA mostly rely on their money being made via Expansion Packs so they might not add that many features in the base game.
But then if they added all of those features into the base game then more people would buy it. Because if your anything like me then you’ll hate having to buy the expansion packs since they are way too expensive! So less people buy the expansion packs because all of then cost like 10 times more than the actual game. So, EA will actually make more money if they add all of these features to the game in the first place since a hell of a lot more people will buy it since you won’t be made broke by the expansions. But then again I agree with your point but really it depends on what chances EA are willing to take and how generous they are going to be with the content they end up releasing in the base game. BTW I’m a 12 year old sims fanatic so that’s why there is such a long reply 😂😂 xxx

Sam B It should be included in the game. The stuff they give us is like really that's all I get for my AA sims? Whereas all the other sims get tons of hair. It's poor representation and the devs should do better. On another note the cc for it is nice but I think more should be included in game.

The "butterfly effect" idea is so interesting. It would really spice up the game: you'd think twice about killing a sim off and the consequences, their career choice and money struggles, being in a car accident and having a prosthetic, etc.

Nice video and this would indeed be the Sims dream but it's not very realistic. But I do agree that the Sims 5 needs to be a completely new revamp. The Sims 5 should be to the Sims 4 what the Sims 2 was to the Sims. If you know what I mean. What I would want over all else is story progression in the neighborhood. I want sims to have babies and move out and grow and change and progress in their careers in the background. I think right now in the Sims 4 if you don't intervene your neighborhood will be a ghost town after a while.
Killers? Well i say sometimes they would maybe suck. At least, if they decide to kill one of your sims. Robbers might be a good idea as i kinda ''liked'' those in the sims 3 and kinda miss the fact that there's a chance of a robber coming into your house.
YES! But, not killers...that'd be sorta sad if they cam and killed all your sims, and anyway EA wanted the game rated teens. They have a mod for that in TS4 but if it was actually in the game thy would probably lose their teen rating.
A lot of these have already been done in sims games in the past, most notably the sims 3, however there is only so much EA can add to a game without it negatively affecting on the performance, and as we saw in TS3 there were frequent crashes to counterbalance the great features. If you guys really want all of these 'new' additions I think you also need to accept that it will also negatively impact your game and not whinge to EA about it when it does. Also it's important to note that just because you want something in game like religion or online features it doesn't mean that everybody else does, EA needs to make a game to appeal to the widest crowd possible and that means that some things that you want can't be in the game, you can't have everything, sometimes it is best to turn to the modding community.
Side note: Please stop saying these features are 'impossible' because they're really not. They have been done before and it won't take 'years' to do. Just because you're used to EA messing around with TS4 expansions and releasing them once a year doesn't mean that has always been the case, just look at the sims 1, 2 and 3. It is possible if you have talented creators who are passionate about the game and not just the money. Unfortunately with the sims 4, these creators and few and far between, which is why it takes them so long to release an expansion.
SimmerJonny But honestly, some of your demands are quite unreasonable. What there problem really is that the sim developers need to understand that they can no longer rip people off. Adding a few new features and revamping the game design for a sequel and then introducing the same expansion packs to rip fans off need to stop. When the Sims 3 was released, I think one object was missing which was advertised in the next expansion pack: something like "Now you can get a (for ex: hot tub)". They tried to check this by introducing new expansion packs like supernatural and modifying Late Night from Nightlife but all the other expansion packs were a rip-off. Not for pc requirements, etc. but for $$$. Pets, seasons, colleges, etc. should be introduced right in the base game. It's kind of hilarious how they made add-on features free in the Sims 4 after the outrage from fans.

Allergies, like Sims with certain allergies can’t eat some of the food that you can make and you have to check the box when you go shopping to make sure it’s ok. Epilepsy is also a good idea!
I love your ideas! Especially the one about funerals, regrets, and paying separate bills! My sim lives alone currently, she's an astronaut, a vampire, and has an alien boyfriend. And she's hardly home, but as she makes more money, she expands her house, but the bills are getting higher and higher and I don't understand why because she doesn't even watch TV, eat, or even sleep for 2 weeks. To keep her fun up, I make her play the violin, so she doesn't play on the computer either. I just don't understand why the bills keep escalating when my sim doesn't use her appliances. I would like the system to be different. Like you said, based on how much the sim uses the appliance. I am very optimistic for the Sims 5! But for now, my little vampire is getting richer and richer in this astronaut career lol.
Bills are not about appliances, its about the stuff in the house, the more expensive your house, the higher the bills, if you are able to buy expensive stuff, you are able to pay more. It is kinda dumb, though, I agee. But for now on, there is a reward trait to help with bills in reward store.

Love your suggestions...sims 5 should be awesome! One additional factor is the TIME frame (I know you can advance the speed meter to fast forward and all, but I’d like an even slower mode ...it’s a huge problem and should be able to work with whatever occasion you’re having, like a wedding or party....the time in sims 4 advances way to quickly and you don’t enjoy planning anything or even simply hanging out with friends...that will be a big plus.
Your not just talking about slow the game down, but changing the whole working clock speed is self. It could be done, also mean taking up space on the hard drive for the second copy of the Sims at the different set time speed. Also you need a program to keep the two "time and spaces" from mixing together and making errors. Then again as this game is now DLC it's no problem re-tooling the game set time for a different speed if the player want that. But see what happen's the future when Sims 4 becomes Sims 5.
Yeah, complicated indeed, like the stupid micro-management of bills...who wants that hassle, this is a game for crying out loud, we do enough of that in real life. :(

As my characters age and keep popping new generations the rest of the world is becoming populated with elders and dying, which is really depressing to experience . To avoid that i have to regularly add some extra sims i won't play with, adopt, hook up couples and make families out of need, not because i enjoy it. That takes a while, and that's time away from my played households which i don't want to keep on hold.
What he is saying is that he wants the Sims to be more realistic. To be able to have other real life experiences. And just saying I feel as if EA should make the Sims 5 to travel so you can be able to go to other states and continents I think that would be cool. And maybe when you travel you can like rent out a motel room or something.

I have an AMAZING IDEA:
The hair will be like you choose the type of the hair like straight wavy curly frizzy etc. and like you can change the length with a slider or by dragging it. And then there are different hair styles like in a bun or a ponytail or like an updo or a braid etc. but it will still keep the hair type in it like let's say you want curly hair and you want it to be kind of short. You want to put it in a ponytail. The hair will still be curly and short but in a ponytail. I really think this would make the sims really unique and different.

Great ideas, man. One of the things that I would really like to see is a way to restrict certain content to certain neighborhoods. One of the things that has always bothered me about the sims is that you can take your sims to cool places, but unless it's a Maxis-made world, all the sims look the same. They're loaded with the same outfits and the same sims show up in every neighborhood. I'd like a way to load different content into different worlds so that each world has its own distinct look and feel, maybe even something approaching 'culture.' Maybe different jobs are available in different worlds, or the sims speak different languages. Just think how much creativity that would allow!
I think the Sims 5 needs an improved clock, too. It shouldn't take 15 or 20 minutes to climb a flight of stairs.
I think it's unrealistic to ask for pets from day 1, but I would love to have some interactive community animals (squirrels, mice, birds, snakes, insects, etc.).
Finally, I think we need a better way of managing and culling CC. CC should be easy to install, easy to remove, and if something is causing a problem, it should be easier to pinpoint which mod it may be.

I definitely agree with the culture aspect. I wiped out an entire neighborhood because the Sims occupying it made it appear too gentrified, but then I found out the game puts more random sims in... lol. That's why I enjoy Sims 4 Jungle Adventures so much, and that's also why I enjoyed The Urbz for GameCube. It was all about neighborhood cultures. I'm not sure if I would go as far as putting different languages since Simlish will always be entertaining to me, but I'm all for different interactions depending on how familiar you are with a culture/neighborhood, and different jobs in different neighborhoods (like agriculture in a rural neighborhood, or factory work in an industrial area). Less progressive jobs for adults are missing in Sims 4. Getting to level 10 in any career is time-consuming without adding actual gameplay, so I think odd jobs/part-time jobs with more challenge and entertainment for the player, like mini-games for example, would be cool. Plus, sometimes you just want your sim to be a librarian or gym trainer.
Sims 3 already does this so they just need to do that again for Sims 5.

Your idea is great. I have always regretted why there is no animal farm or other smaller town or village where people are farmers and this involves not only planting fruit and vegetables, but also animals such as ducks, cows, hens hahaha. Being able to develop your farm and hire people to help you and pay them as a boss, to open a store in front of your house and hire someone to sell from your production, it will be very good because a lot people like to play on farm games.

I love the idea of teens sneaking out. They could even just be sneaking out to go to friends houses or regular places and it would be so cool. Then they should occasionally get caught (not sure how that would work? would it be autonomous or would you have a "catch child sneaking out" option?) and get grounded! It sounds so weird but I think being able to ground teens for a day or two so they can't go anywhere besides school and work and can't watch tv or go on the computer or phone would be so funny lol. Also, the kids should be able to have crushes. JUST CRUSHES NOTHING WEIRD lol. And they should be able to be mean to them bc they actually like them and chase them around and stuff LOL. Cause it would be really cute if you could marry Sims that were childhood sweethearts haha.

4. Stronger personality
5. Memories and stronger reactions
6. Cars
7. Improved graphics (no duh)
8. Pre-teens and maybe middle age
9. A realistic and casual setting for games
10. Toddlers, ghosts, dishwashers, aliens, family tree, cars, acne, pools, diving boards, and spiral staircases at first day release.
11. (recommended) Improved stairs and foundation.

You REALLY should be working with the Sim Gurus! But please please PLEASE don't forget about height differences! I LOVE the height slider mod, but I can't stand when you have a really short sim and a really tall one try to kiss and the animation just fails... So height differences, absolutely. And I'd also enjoy more realistic and improved careers with many to pick from, cause the ones in TS4 make me sad, LOL! Andddd I'd prefer for babies to have more interactions! High chairs, strollers, bouncers, swings, rocking chairs, play pens- all of that stuff from TS3 that I couldn't use due to my game not being able to take CC and store content. Also, I wanna be able to dress my babies again. I miss that feature from TS3. Just more genuine gameplay for the kids and the families. And open worlds, of course. But right now, I'm just waiting for seasons for TS4 and then I'll be happy, haha
Even if they didn't include a height slider they could include, say, three heights that you can pick between (so like in the CAS menu you'd just select "short" "average" or "tall" and each one has slightly different animations)

These ideas are accurate and some good points are stated, but whilst I'm scrolling through the comments i see loads of negativity related to what he's saying I think there pretty good ideas but that's just my opinion that's what everyone is forgetting what he's saying is his own opinion. I don't think they're saying this stuff to be mean, I think they're stating their own opinions as well and there's nothing wrong with that :)
But yeah, if we're going to be realistic a game like this isn't possible. While I do enjoy some of his ideas, and some of them are possible, having all these features wouldn't be realistic. You'd have to have an out of this world computer to be able to handle all of this. The programming in some aspects are far too complicated; they would have to go through like thousands alpha and beta testings because there would be so many bugs to find and fix. It would take too much time; game companies are all about the profits and time equals money. Not to speak of all the *current* features that are being cut out of the game due to lack of time. When you work in a game company you work in itirations and since you have deadlines, you have to prioritise things.

I'd love this in all honesty, a child will often times than not get sick, it's how life works and it's not embarrassing or stupid. If by going to the doctor they could run tests and figure out what kind of food these children could be allergic to.
Example: Mia has pollen allergies and is lactose intolerant, better watch out for those cow plants.
It could even be fun with EA joking around with us, having one flu saying "You better not run, we'll catch up to you. Maxis cold is just around the corner."
I'd love that. Believe it or not, I've been giving this a lot of thought and it could bring us closer to the franchise as we bought the game and is familiar with their work.
I want more interactive careers. Like fashion designer, mortition/funeral director, tattoo/body mod artist, etc. I would also like more hobbies. Like knitting/sewing, hunting, bird watching, taxidermy, more sports, coloring books for kids, sculpting, model cars/planes/boats/trains, board games, comic book reading/collecting, etc. I would like children and teen Sims to have to do more with school like mandatory projects/ group projects, experiments, essays, field trips. I also want them to have report card with separate grades for each subject so your Sim will have to work harder on some subjects more than others. I want when you make a Sim for you to be able to pick favorites again like in Sims 3 but more this time. Like favorite color, food, music, season, activity, flower, animal, etc and have these choices affect the Sims personality. Same with zodiac signs. Lol I could go on and on. I need to stop my self.

I'm hopeful though since the open world technologies have vastly improved since then. But I don't think it's only the open world. I think one of the reasons for the lag is because of just how many factors had to be accounted for. Not only for our own sims that we create, but for each NPC in any one particular world, not to mention environmental factors as well. So hopefully they found a way to manage those things better too.

How about the traits "bystander" or "outstander". Maybe a trait "broken" which means they can be bullied more often or can get depression easily. Or one called "positive" which means they can't get depressed easily or can't ever be depressed. Maybe in order to date someone, you have to fill up bars by doing stuff. Bars like...
Trust: so the person they like can trust them. They can help the person in different ways.
Looks: The person the Sim loves likes certain personalities, and the Sim has to find clothes that match the personality.
Affection: The Sim has to show a lot of affection in order for the Sim's crush to think they would be a good couple.
Maybe there can be gender preferences or homophobia. Like, straight, bisexual, gay, and so on. And people that don't like gays.
Maybe there could be options depending on how you introduced yourself to another Sim.
Example: if you made a rude introduction, you could be rude, or apologize. And the other Sim thinks of you as "annoying". So basically your reputation for that Sim. It could go like this order: annoying, meanie, bully, enemy, nemisis.
Example 2: if you made a normal introduction, you could talk about the weather, stuff that's coming up but no actions available, exept possibly a "shrug" animation. And your reputation for the Sim would be "nobody". The reputation could go in this order: nobody, normal, comforter, kind of friendly, neighbor.
Example 3: if you made a nice introduction, you could talk about amazing stuff, and lots of nice actions available. And your reputation for the other Sim would be "cool" again, the order: cool, friendly person, friend, best friend, family.
But again, these are my ideas. I'm just a weirdo so...

Age Stages: YES! I totally agree! This is the number one thing I would like them to include in the next game. As a person who's studying about educating preschool children, it always felt weird not to control children who are supposed to be 3-5 in the sims (needless to say, there are no kindergartents either and that's sad...). It's a bit silly to go from infant baby to toddler and then suddenly, the child is able to talk/walk/use the loo etc on his own, even if noone bothered to teach him before.
I would like many changes in the sims game actually (the ability to have different heights, disabilities etc) but I know that we can't have everything and it's a game after all.
katepault To add to that, I'd like to be able to alter their lives, like spoil one child while making another child not have a childhood. Maybe send one to military school, while the other gets home schooled.
You were able to do those things in The Sims 3 where you can teach your toddler to walk, go to the potty, etc. It's just shocking when Sims 4 simmers ask for things that were in previous iterations of the game!

This video is on point. I felt like with the Sims 4 were kinda getting a scam. We pay so much for so little, the graphics aren't that huge improvement we were all hoping for and we got way less for our money. I mean come on it took forever to even get toddlers. I really hope the 5th game meets our expectations:D:D

Yes multiplayer!!! Please!! and I really like th idea of a calendar and that what happens to your sims,does have an everlasting impact on them. I don't like the gameplay since it's the same old same old every day with no real purpose or change. After you have played all careers etc. you are pretty much done with Sims. A Calendar can help plan the week or even month of the Sims and help in storytelling in my opinion. :D

I love the idea of a calendar....I heard someone suggest a lunar calendar before...doesn't have to be real seasonal months, like December, November, etc., but a calendar with just the stages of the moon on it would add a lot.

I want realistic genes! For the sims themselves and other animals (be able to breed rabbits etc).
Dominant and recessive genes. Genes for more different aspects like instead of inheriting identical lips from one parent or ancestor you'd inherit the width of the top and bottom lips separately and the angles would also be separate genes, same with all the other features like eyes, body shape etc.

This is how things are done. And for these things to be updated in free patch is highly unlikely because they need to pay their workers and for programming.

I think they should include holidays too like if it was Halloween in real life they would update the world and make it Halloween theme and the same for Christmas, new year, Easter, etc.
Or simply based the holiday on the PC/Console's date just like what they do on NBA2k games, if it's christmas, commentator will acknowledge or say that it is christmas, this way it would be playable even offline.

A definitely more in depth CAS would be cool, a lot more personality traits, favorites, etc. would be really neat have, especially height sliders.
I wish they would have different options for the kind of lifestyle you want to live, weather it's off the grid, the high life...being able to choose and have that affect the kind of interactions you can do with your sims. Being able to be a celebrity in base game would be really cool.
For expansions they can build off some of the features in the base game as well. or come up with stuff that's never ever been done before, new life forms we haven't seen, more options for building.

If it's like Sim City, then it won't be that bad. You could just exit out of the menu when it pops up. Or at the most you would just click a "pay bills" button.
The thing is, this game isn't meant to be an accurate life simulation. It's meant to be weird and whacky. That's what sims do. They are SIMS. That is what they do. They are different. They shouldn't be just like us.
but that's not what most of the players want anymore. Also for the sims to be wacky they need to have SO MUCH more emotion i mean, my hot headed sim isn't very hot headed i must say...

Exactly. If you want to play a realistic game, just go outside and enjoy life. Would anyone like to have job interviews and so on? I doubt it.
The thing with this is that Sims 5 would be WAY too expensive already, and EA mostly rely on their money being made via Expansion Packs so they might not add that many features in the base game.
But then if they added all of those features into the base game then more people would buy it. Because if your anything like me then you’ll hate having to buy the expansion packs since they are way too expensive! So less people buy the expansion packs because all of then cost like 10 times more than the actual game. So, EA will actually make more money if they add all of these features to the game in the first place since a hell of a lot more people will buy it since you won’t be made broke by the expansions. But then again I agree with your point but really it depends on what chances EA are willing to take and how generous they are going to be with the content they end up releasing in the base game. BTW I’m a 12 year old sims fanatic so that’s why there is such a long reply 😂😂 xxx

It should be included in the game. The stuff they give us is like really that's all I get for my AA sims? Whereas all the other sims get tons of hair. It's poor representation and the devs should do better.

The "butterfly effect" idea is so interesting. It would really spice up the game: you'd think twice about killing a sim off and the consequences, their career choice and money struggles, being in a car accident and having a prosthetic, etc.

Nice video and this would indeed be the Sims dream but it's not very realistic. But I do agree that the Sims 5 needs to be a completely new revamp. The Sims 5 should be to the Sims 4 what the Sims 2 was to the Sims. If you know what I mean. What I would want over all else is story progression in the neighborhood. I want sims to have babies and move out and grow and change and progress in their careers in the background. I think right now in the Sims 4 if you don't intervene your neighborhood will be a ghost town after a while.

YES! But, not killers...that'd be sorta sad if they cam and killed all your sims, and anyway EA wanted the game rated teens. They have a mod for that in TS4 but if it was actually in the game thy would probably lose their teen rating.
A lot of these have already been done in sims games in the past, most notably the sims 3, however there is only so much EA can add to a game without it negatively affecting on the performance, and as we saw in TS3 there were frequent crashes to counterbalance the great features. If you guys really want all of these 'new' additions I think you also need to accept that it will also negatively impact your game and not whinge to EA about it when it does.
Also it's important to note that just because you want something in game like religion or online features it doesn't mean that everybody else does, EA needs to make a game to appeal to the widest crowd possible and that means that some things that you want can't be in the game, you can't have everything, sometimes it is best to turn to the modding community.
Side note: Please stop saying these features are 'impossible' because they're really not. They have been done before and it won't take 'years' to do. Just because you're used to EA messing around with TS4 expansions and releasing them once a year doesn't mean that has always been the case, just look at the sims 1, 2 and 3. It is possible if you have talented creators who are passionate about the game and not just the money. Unfortunately with the sims 4, these creators and few and far between, which is why it takes them so long to release an expansion.
I wish you were the head of EA or the producer of the Sims 5 where you would be telling this to the game producers and makers.

SimmerJonny But honestly, some of your demands are quite unreasonable. What there problem really is that the sim developers need to understand that they can no longer rip people off. Adding a few new features and revamping the game design for a sequel and then introducing the same expansion packs to rip fans off need to stop. When the Sims 3 was released, I think one object was missing which was advertised in the next expansion pack: something like "Now you can get a (for ex: hot tub)". They tried to check this by introducing new expansion packs like supernatural and modifying Late Night from Nightlife but all the other expansion packs were a rip-off. Not for pc requirements, etc. but for $$$. Pets, seasons, colleges, etc. should be introduced right in the base game. It's kind of hilarious how they made add-on features free in the Sims 4 after the outrage from fans.

I love your ideas! Especially the one about funerals, regrets, and paying separate bills! My sim lives alone currently, she's an astronaut, a vampire, and has an alien boyfriend. And she's hardly home, but as she makes more money, she expands her house, but the bills are getting higher and higher and I don't understand why because she doesn't even watch TV, eat, or even sleep for 2 weeks. To keep her fun up, I make her play the violin, so she doesn't play on the computer either. I just don't understand why the bills keep escalating when my sim doesn't use her appliances. I would like the system to be different. Like you said, based on how much the sim uses the appliance. I am very optimistic for the Sims 5! But for now, my little vampire is getting richer and richer in this astronaut career lol.

Bills are not about appliances, its about the stuff in the house, the more expensive your house, the higher the bills, if you are able to buy expensive stuff, you are able to pay more. It is kinda dumb, though, I agee. But for now on, there is a reward trait to help with bills in reward store.

Great video! Definitely agree with the life stages, especially more a range between adults and elders. Love the idea of the bills being split up ... great idea! And we definitely need some good old english drizzle in the game haha!

Love your suggestions...sims 5 should be awesome! One additional factor is the TIME frame (I know you can advance the speed meter to fast forward and all, but I’d like an even slower mode ...it’s a huge problem and should be able to work with whatever occasion you’re having, like a wedding or party....the time in sims 4 advances way to quickly and you don’t enjoy planning anything or even simply hanging out with friends...that will be a big plus.

Your not just talking about slow the game down, but changing the whole working clock speed is self. It could be done, also mean taking up space on the hard drive for the second copy of the Sims at the different set time speed. Also you need a program to keep the two "time and spaces" from mixing together and making errors. Then again as this game is now DLC it's no problem re-tooling the game set time for a different speed if the player want that. But see what happen's the future when Sims 4 becomes Sims 5.
