Crazy to look at these videos and see the progression but air kiting has gone through in the past few years. Back then all it took was throwing a few late backs in really strong wind.
Nowadays everyone at their local spot is doing kiteloop board offs, late backrolls and boogie loops.

What was that kook doing trying to self launch at the end?
He had too much upwards momentum - more than the kite so he lost tension in the lines. That was due to him looping early and aggresively

Why did the CORE kite stall???
***** after the kite loop he let go of the bar to let it out and undo the twist in the lines like a lot of the other riders but was chasing after it too fast so the sudden de-power in letting the bar go lost all tension in the lines and it pretty much fell out of the sky

+Mavrk Question? - I always wondered if these riders are using the same china made versions of these kites or are they specifically tailored made so to speak with heavier beefed up lines, pulleys, bridle lines, kite fabric, w/ sponsor logos and etc on them? Been wondering for years...
