What an absolute gem! To have a top
Its my pleasure to post stuff that people such as yourself can enjoy 🥰 and thanks so much
Definitely would be interesting to see you talk about technique and tactics more
Indeed. He is generous to share his secrets in fun and concise way.
Your style of play has broken a few stereotypes in my mind, which has opened my mind to even more ways of performing actions. Thank you very much!
As left-hand player your channel is a gem. So much to learn, ty mate. Wish you make new steps in your journey and get into top20!
Don't abandon your channel and continue to delight us with the video and the silver UA-cam button will be added to the top 20, soon.
Nice tips!! Especially the counter to the pendulum! Small note, what you are calling "against the spin" is what others call "with the spin" and vice versa. You do a topspin on an incoming backspin ball, which is moving the racket in the same way the ball is rotating!
I prefer it being against the spin while it is technically with the spin though. Since when you hit a backspin and turn it into a topspin, it is much easier to understand when you say against the spin and lift the ball etc.
@@talawas It is much more confusing for players though. To understand spin, every player should try and imagine what spin the ball has and how it would make their rubbers react. Thats how you figure how to respond to serves. Players will not understand how to apply the same principle versus sidespins or any other specific spin. The concept of going "with" the spin is that you are trying to move in a manner similar to the rotation, to avoid it from gripping your rubber. As for the wording in your example, players have to understand that you are not turning backspin into topspin, the topspin is already there (if you somehow managed to change direction without affecting rotation). Understanding this is key (a first step) to be able to play against long pimps or anti.
Your channel is a gem for young players. Thanks for sharing such techniques. Hats off to you.
Truly a gem, Anders! One of the key ingredients of your successful career. Wish you progress in all the aspects of this tricky yet entertaining style
Great stuff this! I like how it can be done offensively or defensively depending on how you are positioned before. Anything that gives an opponent something else to think about is a good thing.
Excellent video! I will definitely try this slice in my game😎. Also, I am look forward to your forehand spiny drive tutorial😊!
Thank you anders !!!❤
Keep posting mate! really really interesting ;)
No one else does this shot. Insights coming from the man himself is very valuable. Thank u.
King of slice 💪🏼
😁😁😎
@anderslindtt that's a beautifully unique shot and very generous of you to share it with us - thank you so much 🙏🏻 When I saw you play this before i thought it must be some weird (pimples) rubber you were using to create such an unorthodox shot but huge respect to you for developing this so consistently on an inverted rubber - not easy! The fact that you give the top players a tough time with this shot speaks volumes! Thanks again Anders and all the very best with your career - i'll be following you with great interest!!! 🙏🏻👍🏻❤️🏓
Oh wow! I was not expecting to see this tutorial and even less expected to see myself at the beginning of the video. 😅 But it was very informative and I'm very thankful you took your time to read our comments and actually make this tutorial because this is a very interesting shot to do and I want to try to learn in.
Nice Anders! :) Happy that you are bringing new type of shots into the game of table tennis.
I remember that you didn't use the backhand slice when we were playing :P
Heyyy bro. Hahaha i remember we played eachother at swedish tournaments!! Loong time ago. Yes luckily for you i had not learned the slice yet at that time 🤣😝
Thank you for the nice tutorial. Can't wait to try it myself.
Great video! Thank you so much! I was playing around with this move as a penholder, but couldn't make it consistent. Will train it now more specifically next time.
Great! I hope these tips can improve your slice😊
Thanks for the detail 🙏
Nice edition. Keep up the good work.
Awesome, thanks!!!
amazing 😊 thank you anders
I do want to learn this, thanks again ;)
the spin is just insanity!
Super video from a super player ..As a fellow lefthander id love to hear what special tactics u often employ in a match..thanks!
These are awesome man 👏 😂
Awesome tips thanx thanks 🎉
well done on your tournament win. amazing 🎉
Bro. I gotta learn this slice cuz this will be the new cheatcode in tabletenis 🔥
Love your videos, can you make video about the difference between advanced players and world class players with the serve, or series on technique and the difference between the two.
Thanks a lot! the video from you i'm expecting to Watch....👏👏
I do something similar but with forehand off the serve as I am right handed. Quite effective if curved into the opponent's playing elbow.
Amazing thx :)
THANKS FOR SHARE THIS VIDEO. GREETINGS FROM BARCELONA SPAIN ❤
good job bro!
Great video.
We now have our European master to overtake Ti Long 🔥 Not to mention the fact that your partner does great service for demo purposes, keep it up it's crazy
[Can't wait] Just imagine in twenty years what WTT will be like. With amazing world class players like you Anders. Giving such golden techniques, and inspiring the younger generation of table tennis players. Thanks to your kind of videos from pros like you I never lost a tortament match in my life of course I not close to your league. Thank you remember this comment when this channel get millions of Subscribers.
can you post content of your training sessions? great videos keep it up!
😍 I will learn from the boss
Hahahaha 🤣🤣😘
awesome video
Very creative anders! Also can you tell me what blade you use?thanks
Hi,
Can you maybe make a video about your current equipment and your previous equipment?
I really like Donic, it's like a hidden treasure for many imo, but very little people are playing with it because they don't know it.
Would be great to hear your opinion about the material
Great!!
Amazing job so far at the latest feeder Anders! Wishing best of luck for the semis tomorrow...you're matches have been very entertaining and sure you can go all the way! Any tips on improving a backhand would be great...mine is more than lacking in power and timing.
You were right 😂😁. And for backhand the most important thing to get quality in the shot is the racket speed as you hit the ball.. needs to be fast movement from underarm and small rotation in hip😊
Never in doubt! Haha. Well done! And thanks for the reply.
Hi Andres, which shoes you play in professional matches. I bought wave drive and have a feeling of no shock absorbed. Or it will just take time to get use to. Its very hard for knees?
Nice slice! We're waiting for that. Thank you for your explanation and tips. I will try it as soon as possible (at the moment we are on summer break).
What wood and what rubbers do you play? I wish you all the luck for your young career. Adam would say: Keep on ponging! ;-)
No problem. Yeah try it out 😄 i use donic original true carbon blade.. and then donic bluegrip c2 and donic bluestar a1 rubbers.
Thank you. 👍
Hi. Which racket and rubbers ate you using?
😮ty !!!!
Thats move need to be named after you 😮
Anders Lind ,I have seen all your videos, really they're very valuable to add knowledge to tt players, but who are biginner, for them please make some videos like, how to hold racket ? some basic exercises to improve forehand and backhand, how to hold racket while serving, and separate video for how to add more spin while serving.? Sorry I requested many things in my comments but many coaches doesn't know basic things? And later it becomes very difficult to overcome wrong things adopted by kids,so please.❤
for a right handed player, would it have to be the opposite serve to work ,or any side spin serve ?,thanks so much, love your style
Yes so a left handed regular serve is ideal for right hand to do this shot😊
very nice channel
Anders please your rubers thickness?
can you make a video together with Jonathan Groth?
Like you said, you use your backhand slice at least once a video 😂
Great explanation, thank you!
But a little advice for you
You need a lapel microphone, to improve your sound quality, it's hard to hear what you was talking about))
Raspberry forever.
Hey Anders. Lefty penholder here. So I'm sure you have to read body language or perhaps you wait until they actually serve the ball but you do this seemingly a lot vs on cross-court serves on your forehand side. Have you ever been caught stepping around to the far side of the table to play this backhand only to be surprised if your right handed opponent gives you a down the line serve? Is that ball hard then to reach with your backhand on the serve return? Great video tutorial. Thanks.
Happens sometimes yeah.. its almost impossible to catch it if their serve is fast and deep😊
Jeg øver altid baghånd slice/strawberry til træning og vær gang siger jeg “be like Anders” elsker dine videoer mand❤
Tak for det bro!!❤
This is such a great way to have a defensive shot be offensive
You should use a mic ❤❤
Yeah that is a great idea. I will in the near future buy some better things to record with so the quality of sound and everything else will be better 😊
Нужен русский перевод. Может супруга поможет?)))
I do a similar shot but it's not on purpose...
😂
Fuck! I'm a penholder
