The "this is what you thought you were playing with as a kid" is dead on. I'm loving these. its like the original toys at their full potential. Really curious how Mutagen Man will be in final form.
I'm expecting him to literally be the vintage figure but bigger with more detail. His body is going to be a huge "issue" in terms of articulation but I suspect they'll nail the look.
@@tmntuniverse I want to say Brian's talked about it before and said they weren't necessarily planning for it just because the tolerances are so tight that it could affect the rest of the figure as far as limb articulation. So, we'll see. I won't be too beat up if we can't considering you can't reliably display him that way long term. Sure would be cool to just mess around with, though.
Sorry to be so off topic but does anybody know a way to get back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost my login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
Hopefully Super 7 will find a way to offer a two pack or something with this guy, for the obvious army building and to get some more $$$ out of this awesome mold.

The seamless joints at the elbow and knees makes all the difference!!! I wish they were like that from the beginning with MOTU Classics. One of the only ways to make that line even better.
Great review. Figure is indeed perfectly translated from the vintage toy. I will take an aesthetic torso over ab crunch any day of the week, but to each their own. My only gripe would be the missed paint detail/wash on the small gun and wire weapon.
Great review! The way they capture the look of the vintage figure is crazy. I never had any of the original foot soldiers so I'll definitely be looking forward to adding him to the shelf. Yeah the cost certainly hampers trying to army-build these.
Great packaging and figure but £50 plus in the UK per super seven figure if u can find a supplier wow very nice though bet though I could find easier than neca ones lol
Cool review, love the comparisons! I debated on getting this one. The paint and the scale is gonna be my problem with this line. These are too big to display with other TMNT figures. Wish they were a little smaller. The paint is okay, but it’s shiny and heavy handed with shading. Splinter and Raphael especially.
Hey toybro! Where did you get the helmet for Rocksteady? My Neca Rocksteady does not have this helmet. Also the Rocksteady from your Rocksteady/Bebop 2 Pack review had no helmet. Is this a custom head? Please tell us, it looks amazing.
I don't know if you already discovered the truth, so I just leave it here. It's a helmet from playmates classic toyline Rocksteady figure (not the 1990-s one, more from 2015 or so). The cartoon accurate paint job is from some custom-making guy (don't remember his nickname) whose selling this on his own site.
Nice review. Where did you get the helmet for Rocksteady? I’m not in front of my figures but I’m thinking the NECA Rocksteady does not come with the helmet.
Same here, dude. Not the first expensive Super 7 toy that has broken on me out of the box. I should have learned my lesson, but the sculpts look so good. I guess they just use cheap plastic.

I'm glad, I ordered 6 of them. Just don't like the gummy weapons. Lol
Price point is tough on all the Super 7 figures but especially this guy. $45 for an army builder is impossible.
I would love to see you pose theese figures in the same way as the vintage Playmates originals =)

Idk I feel like Super7 should of made this guy a 2 or 3 pack.
Really wish he had a ball jointed waist. (And maybe even a double barbell at the neck under that collar)
But great review as always!
Toy bro at the end of the video in the comparison I saw your Rocksteady has the helmet? Custom? Can you link the person so I can custom mine as well

Where did you get the Rocksteady helmet ⛑?
die sehen so klasse aus
Thanks for the look at this figure dude
Anyone know when will BBTS be shipping these out?
The website says late August, so I'm thinking in the next few weeks.
BBTS is terrible
I hope they do a version based on the mutating foot solder.
I may get 1 n put him with my cartoon neca foot soldiers as the leader 🤷♂️

My arm broke out of the box.. all I did was try to move it up and snap.. the joints are garbage.. the elbows held together with absolute garbage

Do you have any info on the variant??
How tall is it in cm?
The strap of the shell-biter looks short. Can the Foot Soldier wear the strap around his torso?

Hello. Is there peg holes in the feet? Cheers.
If I wanted seamless figures I'd buy statues. I want better articulation in my action figures.
A quintessential enemy
I need one even if it's loose.
T.Y. Got one today.

Too bad this is the last review, until wave 2.
I'm already feeling the withdrawal.
