Great summary! I graduated in social science, all things mentioned here do have scientific backing.

Charles Duhigg has a great way of writing. Easy and so flowing that you can’t get away from the book without getting it finished

It's scary how these points can also be taught to a chatbot to collect more data.

    1. Asking for "help" = admitting inferiority = objective structural vulnerability. And you got work and learning to do.
    2. Asking to be "heard" is quite the opposite = quite detached from accountability (for either side) = directly empowering.
    3. Everything boils down to this POWER game, under the surface of this mental model's arbitrary lexicon. And many others.
just keep blaming the patriarchy and see if these "super-communicators" are on your side in the long-run and for the long haul. ;)

I cannot parse this. This is so far beyond my usual trains of thought that I cannot comprehend these grammatically, and allegedly, meaningful paragraphs. Pls explain?

These skills r fundamental counseling skills.its bit flawed to say people want to be EITHER heard or helped. They also want a Combination of both.so there r 03 levels here.

Ask, paraphrase, verify... Ok, if someone does this in a conversation with me, I'm definitely going to feel like a participant in business bullshit bingo or maybe as if I were talking to a parrot. 😂
