Space is a truly mysterious and attractive place, but at the same time it is filled with some grave threats and dangers. Extreme temperatures, lethal radiation and an aggressive environment are a threat to any living being that would dare leave its native planet. But even against this generally unfriendly background there are still especially dangerous and scary places that particularly stand out. Let’s check out the most horrifying ones.

you will get fried/frozen on those planets.
Tidally locked planets are my least favorite planets, because you know with almost 100% certainty that either sides of it are f**ked
not necessarily. some tidally locked planets could have a weather system like wind that could distribute conditions from one side to the other.
I wouldnt want to just b able to explore the middle of the planet lol
Scientists keep saying that there's a possibility that tidally locked planets could harbor life but my intuition tells me that it's not so.
Don't think of it as a tidally locked planet -- think of it as a ringworld.

It would be really interesting to find a planet that has liquid oxygen oceans.
It would be really cold and most life would be dead and frozen

About V391 Pegasus b:
One possible explanation would be that the gas giant observed actually formed after its star collapsed. Could be from the remaining material of a previous planet and/or multiple bodies, combined with the remains of the supernovae. Another possibility is that there may never have been a planet there before the star exploded, and formed after from various materials.

The universe is definitely a mind bowing pace. Beautiful animations and an interesting, informative narration. Thank you so much for posting, Kosmo!
I really liked this one.
To be 100% honest, I typically have been mixted opinions of this channel's videos. I tend to lean pretty heavily to the scientific side of things, and to my knowledges there has been a few things that were (as far as I could tell) inaccurate. Yes I can be a bore sometimes. But this does tend to lessen my opinion of space vids.
That being said, I think this type of videos is a strong point of this channels - based on observations and scientific data, but meant to be a projection/somewhat "reality-grounded fiction". E.g. KC-141 may or not actually have lava rains. It's a possible scenario supported by the observations. I liked the narrative, the visuals are stunning, and I'm not bothered by the fact that this may or not ACTUALLY be the case - we know this lava is not an observation, but a prediction of what is likely.
My favorite from this channel so far, and ranking in overall space videos (and I do watch a lot of those...)

A very interesting channel - "Artificial Intelligence Plus Lottery".. Found the mathematical phenomenon..
Absolutely amazing. Makes you really think. It’s literally unimaginable. What my mind also ventures off to is if there is a planet out there holding life so advanced that they’re able to build technology to be able to see these planets first hand with their own eyes and are able to enter their atmospheres to study such planet and come out unharmed thanks to their advancements.
You mean Klingons?
It's possible such a civilization exists, but from what we've seen so far, not likely within our galaxy. As such an advanced civilization would likely be noticeable to us.
And that's how I see it. The universe is so big that other intelligent life is VERY likely to exist out there. Even intelligent life more advanced than us. But they're probably so far way from us that we'll never meet or even see them.
I just realized space is like having a toxic significant lmao
A very interesting channel - "Artificial Intelligence Plus Lottery". Found the mathematical phenomenon
Also, the worst thing about space is that it is to big and mostly empty. Space is basically waste of space and no way to escape it.
"Space is basically a waste of space". That's very profound man lol.
NOPE
IT HAS MANY USES
Space is very vast, but for now, we're trapped here on Earth Prison...
@@centauria9122 In a way yes, but stuck is probably not the right word as we are spinning around our sun at a silly high speed, and then our sun is spinning around the centre of our galaxy even faster than that, and still our galaxy spins in whatever direction it does faster than that again, and did I mention that the earth also spins fast around itself? Now if you ad this up this is a lot of fast and spinning. To much if you ask me.
As space and time can be said as being two sides of the same thing, namely spacetime, I think we can say with certainty that the biggest problem with space is that it is not only to big but also takes up to much time.
I don't know if i love this or not. Knowing that there are billions of exoplanets burning down like hell. we all moan when we get hot etc. Talking about planets like these with temperature around 3000-4000 celcius, scary but amazing. Well done kosmo

The scariest planet I know of has inhabitants who are bent on destroying the only home they have without the technology to get them to another home. Or fix the one they are wrecking. So is that scary or stupid or both?
The home we have is a chaotic dangerous mess like the rest of the universe. We just happened to be lucky to have our ancestors survive long enough to get to the level we are at now. The next step is to get to the next level as quickly as possible, is super advanced AI and material harvesting the entire solar system and creating incredibly massive stellar ships.
One scary exoplanet Corot 7b is a very hot world full of lava oceans and very close to it's star lasting only 21 hours in the Monoceros constellation about 487 light years.
The second planet type are called Super Jupiters. Winds go up to 1500 mph unlike Jupiter which is around 400-500 or even Neptune at around 1000mph. Main difference is the hurricane winds are 2000 deg C
The light from Kelt-9b we see - or at least some people see... - started its journey towards us at the time of the Great Plague around 1348-53. Isn't that incredible? The size of the Universe is so vast, that most of us are not even able to think of imagining it!

The probelm is a lot of this is guesswork and estimations by our past with science we know that we can often be wrong and way off, what we know and guess is dependent on what we are used to and abhabt experience with, what we don’t know we often feel is impossible, learning how many planets are out there is fascinating but out assumptions of things are often dangerous and shouldn’t be shown as information widely distributed
The soundtrack of this video sounds like music from the movie the Re-animator
