Always online is the lead up to them being able to co trol when the game gets permanently shutdown, it follows the ethos of "you will own nothing and be happy".
It might be me. But the loadout system is what is making it boring every time. Spawning in with a pistol and trying to get the best guns from the box makes it a lot of fun. Instead of spawning in with the gun, i want and upgrade JUST that gun never spinning the box. To me its kinda killing it for me.
@@jonnyrussell6087 again that’s what gobble gums are for lmaooo. You can always still try to get a better gun. It’s not that hard. Obviously for some reason he’s hard for him. Maybe he’s just slow
I do pistol spawns and don’t use salvage to upgrade and just replace weapons. It’s very fun compared to spawning with a good gun. PM9mm with the 8 round fast mag. Once you take away the ability to upgrade your starting weapon it makes early game a little more tense. You can manage to afford the box by avoiding early pap. You can kill with pap 1 legendary rarity up to round 30 depending on the weapon. I haven’t spawned in with loadout weapons since finishing nebula outside of the odd daily challenge
The getting rid of special grenades like the G-strike or Pegasus strike, getting rid of buildable shields and buildable melee weapons and Easter eggs that actually reward you. That’s what gets rid of the depth. Every side Easter egg, gives you salvage and weapons. We need more side Easter eggs like the Pegasus strike, golden fork, shield buildables. The wooden stake,
@ by your logic Pegasus strike doesn’t count because it’s used in the main Easter egg then. How is that any different? Almost all items you build are also for the main Easter egg in some way in every single map
@Benn_Harris Any tactical equipment from the past have always been used for the easter egg. I get what you're saying but the way you're wording jt is kinda counter intuitive. I agree with what you mean being "The primary use of it is to progress the quest" which i agree with. You don't really use the incantation for anything outside of the main quest because they don't have the same power or charm as some older equipment
I feel like we weren't "bored" in older zombies is because the community stuck around. Treyarch left a plethora of side easter eggs, storyline nods, and just so many more things to do in each map compared to what we have now. The BO6 side easter eggs have been super lackluster and doesn't keep any community engagement. No one's talking about "oh what is this weird thing out of the map mean, is there more steps to this?" because literally all the side easter eggs thus far have been extremely basic and simple.
@EvanThompson-bo5zvthey still don’t really serve a purpose, are some of them fun sure but they essentially just give you loot besides the ratking, the stuffed animal and the double point medal
@@myinnerchild I guess a better question is what is an example of a side Easter egg that you would want in bo6 zombies that an older map had? And don’t say something like buildable tacticals like g strike ect as citadelle has exactly that as I think they realized the same thing and wanted to include stuff like that again. I mean like true side Easter egg that doesn’t give you a MAIN weapon type of thing. Like hells retriever isn’t really a “side” Easter egg. It’s a MAIN mechanic of the map. What is a true “side” Easter egg that you would give as a good example? I honestly am having trouble coming up with something
I feel a BIG part of why citadelle didnt hold peoples attention as long as the first two maps is because THERE ARE NO CHALLENGES. Once you do the easter egg GG.... Thats it.
I can totally relate to just being bored of BO6. I don't really why exactly, but I think it's because the game feels like it has much less soul than older CODs. I've been playing a lot of BO1, 2, 3, and 4 instead, so it's not like I'm just bored of zombies.
absolutely dude, same here, most people playing this game have too little emotional intelligence to be able to word that feeling, but yeah this is it and theres nothing that we can do about it sadly
There’s probably other issues, but my main thing is the amount of boss zombies that spawn after round 30 and the bosses themselves. It could’ve been great, because the mechanics are awesome, but everything else is average or bad.
Call of duty needs to change got bored of zombies years ago same thing every call of duty must be because the kids love it fair play they don't want to worried the young people who play call of duty residential evil or silent hill or the last of us similar games like that won't do young people any good they have to do something different stop people getting bored to death 😊
Nah guys don’t listen to this noob who probably suck at the game. The game can be pretty good and fun. Its just the bugs and lag issues that happens rarely often
The problem with BO6 Zombies is one of optimization. Legendary game designer, Sid Meier, once said "Given the opportunity, players will optimize the fun out of a game," therefore "one of the responsibilities of designers is to protect the player from themselves." BOCW and BO6 fails on this point. Everything in BO6 has been streamlined and simplified - everything that created adversary for the player has been removed which allows players to B-Line to the easiest strategy everytime which is just boring. Every single game is: Spawn with gun I want camos on -> Upgrade PaP/Rarity/Get Wonder Weapon -> buy all perks -> get bored -> exfil There's no randomness to the game, there's nothing that's forcing me into making an interesting decision or change my strategy in ANY way. Earlier Zombies games had no ammo purchases, Mystery Box and Perk limits to force you into using diferrent guns and changing up strategies which was interesting and engaging. I'm not saying we have to go back to that per se, but at least SOME changes are needed to stop the game from being the same thing over and over and over again.
@@Xpertfusion Thanks, I'm in the exact same camp as you. I like BO6 Zombies in small bursts, but have no desire to play it game on game for the above reason.
It makes sense to have a scrap limit tied to kills, but limiting points exclusively to kills is problematic. The current progression systems feel overly restrictive and repetitive, stifling experimentation and skillful play. While these changes have been implemented, I believe the core issue lies within the game's economy. For instance, getting 4 perks averagely cost 9,000 points in older games. In contrast, the current system fixes 13,000 points (a 44% increase). This percentage gap widens significantly if you buy more than 4 perks. The alterations to the point system magnify the inherent flaw of progressively increasing perk costs. I don't believe we'd be complaining if the perk prices were adjusted or reworked.
I think the game as well as Cold War has such a similar gameplay loop game to game. I go in with whatever weapon I am working on getting my camos for and I progress through the map normally. I never have to buy a wall weapon or use the mystery box bc I can easily get more ammo. The wonder weapons are the easiest to earn in the history of the mode, there’s no buildables, and field upgrades remove the need for special weapons like the Skull of Nan Sapwe or Keeper Sword. You basically end up playing until you exfil on round 31 every game with your exact loadout that you started with plus whichever wonder weapon is on the map, more armor, and your perks. I am in the same boat as you where we both like complexity in this mode and going back to BO3 or BO4 and how there is so much to do or learn to optimize in Easter eggs or wonder weapon steps. You’re also forced into buying wall weapons or spinning the mystery box due to your current situation which isn’t a factor in this new style of zombies. Every game to keep feels different in BO3 and while you may always end up with a Dingo and the Lightning Bow, the process to getting there varies game to game.
Bro we been making excuses for treyarch not having enough time since 2018. Treyarch is a multi million dollar company figure it out and hire ppl who can make us the game
16:37 something I feel a lot of people have forgotten is the supposed 4 year development cycle that supposedly happened for this game (minus the fact that apparently treyarch has to bail the other studios out every year) and now all I hear is that they are making the next cod…. How???? One year to work on a whole game??? Is nobody else worried about this they had 4 years and we are complaining about lack of content will the next $70 game even be worth it if they done have any time to make it???
People getting bored of zombies is because maps don’t nearly offer the amount of unique content that they used to. Also doesn’t help they are making speed running pointless and high rounds still aren’t very fun
When I use the swords in citadelle they just didn’t feel like wonder weapons. I think part of the problem is the lack of attention to detail in certain things. They keep putting all this effort into death effects within their bundles but when it comes to the wonder weapons they all turn into an exploding pile of guts. Reminds me of the left 4 dead vs back 4 blood issue. Also the specials are weak for the effort it takes to charge them compared to wonder weapons which were destruction on command. And we’ve seen the special abilities before in some way. I also think just slapping ammo mod effect onto them or the incantations being glorified ammo mods ain’t that smart of an idea.
Imagine bitching about Zombies being repetitive and boring when you know that’s literally the whole natural of this unambitious side mini arena mode, and has always been for the Call Of Duty franchise. He very obviously just made a bad career decision by saying back then that Zombies is his main focus for Call Of Duty and content creation.
This is pretty spot on. Initial game play is fun when they release a new map but they lack unique features that only belong to that map. They need more depth to them. It also doesn’t help that data miners find all of the EEs the first week the map releases
I am going to be honest this is the first game where I am excited to see all the zombie DLC. I did play zombies as a kid, but I was never there when the DLC would release and I was never there waiting for the next DLC. But I don’t really see how this games drought currently is any different from the gap between DLC’s from previous games ?
OK, I actually watched a video a bit more and I agree that the older point system and the older pistol start was a lot better because it encouraged more variety. I also personally think that the older zombies was much harder than what we have now and I think I would rather have it where the early game is hard again so that it actually takes a lot more skill to even get to round 20.
Just the community being its usual complaining self over the most trivial things. I’ve been a fan since WAW and there’s literally no difference in the amount of content - in fact we actually receive more content now than we did in the bo2 days. All these arguments about depth are so redundant when thats all a matter of perspective. If you actually play the game on a casual basis without grinding to prestige master in the first week you’ll actually find the game a lot more enjoyable to play. Shock.
im downloading bo3 zombies chronicles for the first time today as a new player. Ive never done them maps before. Im a young teen, so i wasn't allowed to play zombies when i was younger
Excited to watch this but up front yeah I’m worried also I’m cool with the mansion being the end point but I cannot imagine there is anything interesting happening in the tower part of liberty falls we’ve been in those same style towers on terminus and I can’t imagine 4 of those being very interesting
I agree but this happens to me with zombies in general on any game. Its a very repetitive mode that i can only enjoy for a certain amount of time. Ill then take a break come back and enjoy it again. Just the way the gamemodes always been for me
Definitely lots of people who feel that way. I haven't felt that way in quite a few of the older games, but it's entirely possible times were just different back then and what we accept for games is different now. I do think Zombies is not built to stand on its own all that well, it kind of works better for people who also play MP and Warzone now.
On bo6 zombies i feel like i do the exact same thing on the same round, near the same in game time as well. I feel like the "rougelike"/randomness elements of zombies arent a thing in black ops 6. No point to spin the box, or where you need to buy a weapon off the wall to live. That and i just dont vibe with bo6 nearly as much as i thought i did. Also i agree Citadelle has gone down to that B+ teir for me ngl.
I remember every one saying during MWZs lifecycle that roundbased has unlimited replayability, but here we are in season 1 and everyone is getting bored.
I feel like a lot of the dip in player interest is also because we're now in the post dlc-1 content drought, which is definitely not exclusive to bo6 either: the wait for ZNS after DE back in the day was also REALLY rough
It's all subjective and I can only speak for myself, but I know I definitely didn't get bored of BO3 during that wait for ZNS. SOE and DE were very replayable enough to keep me coming back.
Loadouts is what sticks out to me the most about these newer Zombie games. With the old games like Origins, my pathing would be reliant on where the mystery box was located since you could see it's light at spawn, I also remember playing Kino with friends and always going 'Which door should we open now?' Hoping to see the mystery box after the very first door. The newer games just let you spawn in with what you want and doesn't offer any variety practically at all. You don't have a perk limit so what you get is just the same for literally every player except the order in which you buy them. They've made the game all too easy in that sense. The new maps feel all too the same in my opinion as well, two paths to take which just take you to the same point, Pack-A-Punch. Yes that's been the standard but they can't think of something different like Der Riese did? Call of the Dead? Just add more paths to take or a more distinct way of taking these paths because as the video says; early games feel all too the same. I'd love to say I'm trying to give constructive criticism to a game that won't listen, but at this point I'm just gonna seethe the new while enjoying the old games again
I exclusively play zombies on Xbox one and that glitch where pop-ups disappear happens at round 3-7 for me without fail. (EDIT- on EVERY map) happens in mp too after 5 ish mins, I straight up never seen any of my camos pop, earned Gobblegum, sam trials, exfils, levels, or weapon levels. It makes playing the game a fucking chore to have to keep up with everything. I have had tons of times where im grinding a camo i have no idea whether i have unlocked yet or not. THERE WAS A FIX FOR THIS IN MW3 ZOMBIES. YOU COULD TRACK CAMOS!!! WHY THE FUCK CAN I NOT TRACK CAMOS IN BO6!?!?!?!
100% with you on feeling bored with the current game. The depth in gameplay and story telling just are not there. Also, the lack of audio options for turning certain channels off and HUD options resetting make the customisation a pain rather than a perk.
Bo6 has the same concept and system from CW. Nothing new.. just lazy, remade, same enemy types and maps have no meaning. Bosses are decent but only for terminus. There is nothing special for every other map compared to bo3 or even IW zombies which felt rewarding to complete the EE to get rewarded with perma perks and points round 1. Bo6 is just lazy and poorly made because they are too focus on bo2 remake 2025. Not to mention the nerfs on a pve mode is what get me the most. Zombies became emotionally damaged?
@@Verg1lSp4rda No one is calling CW, VG, or MWZ underrated. If anything, CW is now being called overrated, and has aged kind of horribly in a short span. Idk why y'all don't understand that the majority of players don't want the dogshit CW system, and the dogshit Fortnite looting bs, etc. We want Zombies to be Zombies, I don't think the new players understand just how terrible it is for a company to build a system for a game for almost 10 years, and make the players associate that experience with COD Zombies just to suddenly change everything out of the blue.
@@Verg1lSp4rda yeah, I enjoyed some aspects of MWZ. But the replay value just wasn't there. Each new Season I'd play the new story mission and Dark Aether rift and then not play again till the next Season.
I genuinely don't think the issue is depth, the points, or loadouts. The issue for me is genuinely Elite Enemies, Weapon Dropoff, and Damage Taken past Round 20. My guns not killing enemies, at least 1 Elite Enemie(usually 2 after Round 30)spawning in every 3-5 Rounds(sometimes back to back rounds)after Round 20-25, and getting killing because the Zombies are not only extremely aggressive, but also become super sprinters, and do way too much damage. You have too much Health Early Game, and way too little Mid-Late Game. I am not anti armor, or damage scaling, but it is just not in a good spot IMO. At this point I'd rather have the BO3 hit system(3 without Jugg, 5 with it), and much slower Zombies. At least that way the weaker weapons would be a bit more managable. I have not worries about the upcoming maps, but the gameplay is what's started to bore me(even though it's solid, it's just not as gripping as a BO3 or BO4).
The thing that I hate about BO6 is that I never feel like I'm making any decisions on the early rounds, I'm just going through the motions. In classic zombies you constantly had to make important decisions to survive: "buy a wall weapon or hit the box?", "get more ammo or buy jugger nog?" That's what I play zombies for. BO6 was designed for braindead ADHD kids with 3 milisecond attention spans.
The challenges for cod points thing is absolutely GENUIS. That would bring so much life to the game and give you a season to grind after launch but knowing activision, that is definitely never happening 🤣
I love black ops six but like you said it does get boring after a while. I am one of the people that is grinding zombies, and it does get boring after a while, but I feel stuck playing zombies as you practically get punished so hard in multiplayer for just being good.
it’s the load out system. the progression doesn’t feel the same and as satisfying. so yeah it’s gonna get boring after using the same thing u spawned in with every time cuz its useless to do otherwise.
I feel that it is the fact every player is doing directed mode n ee b4 I was jus a handful of ppl tryna fight the boss this one a full random team will beat the maps wit u which was hard back then
As someone who hasn't played a COD game since B02, I'm thoroughly enjoying the zombies mode in B06. I can understand why you're bored though. I don't know what outbreak was like, or whatever it was called, but it seemed kind of fun and replayable, probably should have been in the game at launch.
Its for sure the armor plates, if the game didnt have those plates that you can instantly refill and on top of that stun zombies, you wouldnt be so comfortable and bored. If i could change the system id just make it one single plate. I do love bo6 but its missing that intense challenge that the older games had where your actually afriad of the zombies, in this game they tickle you.
I really hope the Janus towers map has most of the being an dense forest with the Janus towers being power. Then the pac a punch could have its own location within the dark Arther or the forest
I just think the map theme's are not that interesting. Liberty Falls is incredibly boring, Citadelle des Morts is much of the same, bland and drab with no creative flourishes except for the final boss which not enough people will even see, and Terminus is the only exception, it's a better Zetsubou No Shima, but it still falls behind in terms of map theme's, compared to older CoD Zombies maps of the past.
The fact that bo7 is coming out so soon after bo6 shouldnt be an issue treyarch were obviously aware of this which is why bo6 had the longest development time as it was for bo7 aswell.
17:49 this is so bs because treyarch has been sabotaged over and over to the point where they’re going to get outshined by iw and sledgehammer due to something that isn’t their fault. I swear every company in Activision except raven hates treyarch cause this is just insane they don’t want em to win
I was worried about bo6 prelaunch then after playing it i was excited especially after citadelle but something deep down says im gonna be dissapointed especially if these leaks are true
Honestly I play to max level and then some every cod zombies has been like that for me but I am bored as well of Bo6 first time experience this felling form a cod game with zombies by Treyarch
i dont think janus towers is in liberty falls. because you can see a map on terminus that shows a little indicator on where the mansion and janus towers are, and janus towers is far away in a different state from the mansion.
Bo6 zombies just ain’t it. 2 years from now the game will be dead dead. Thats why I’m already back on older zombie modes they just had that special touch to them that new zombies don’t have and maybe will never have again by the way activison has been treating bo6 and the recent cods. Bo6 still lacks alot of things that made zombies special, and it kills me cause I was actually excited for this game but so far this game is just another Cold War to me.
@ I’m talking facts. I didn’t even say anything really bad about bo6 I bet I have more game time then you. What I said is everyone’s complaint rn. Bo6 isn’t Cold War bad but it lacks a lot of things that cold war zombies also lacked. But bo6 is still way better than Cold War, and isn’t a bad zombies game but compared to others it is.
Bro I just gotta admit, no trophies for dlc maps just bumped me down since cold war, I thought I’d enjoy citadelle, trying to burn my ass off achieving it, but the real thing is, I got all bo6 trophies and just went bored with the game. No motivation for me to play citadelle, sure won’t be any for the rest of the dlc maps.
You’re right about those of us who camo grind. I got nebula and dark ops mastery around master prestige while using xp tokens and I’m bored. I’ve switched over to Elden Ring and Arma Reforger with friends. I’d like to add that times have changed. Try out a new game or series. Fromsoft has banger after banger with the souls series. Maybe skip out on DS2 though lol
Yea I’m bored of bo6 but I think the two maps being right next to each other could be cool , like what if it was a two parter finale to the game we get one long story through both maps. Something like we finish Janus tower and somehow lose the boss fight having to make a comeback in the mansion map could be really cool
It’s our fault we always called for innovations and when we got them we complained. I also can’t stand those people who trashed Bo3 and Bo4 constantly just to fall in love with it shortly before or after the newer Cod came out. I remember how people said that the Easter eggs got way to complicated and nonsensical yet today everyones nostalgic all of the sudden and says BO3 was the best when it was clearly started going downhill from there. Origins was the last great Map but also got the ball rolling in the wrong direction and ZNS just cranked it up to the moon.
BO6 zombies is very straight forward and there isn’t any real creativity in it. These Easter eggs are too user friendly because early zombies EE a lot of people did not attempt them because they knew it was too hard and impossible to a lot of people. Even the speed runs are a joke sub 12 minutes or less. Says everything for you. It’s someone who beat the EE with just equipment on citadel. They push too much to work on Warzone which this game should have only been mp and zombies. Takes away from what black ops is about
@@tehCostHD He said 12 minutes or less, that's a big difference to 25-35 mins, but also I think what he meant is that there was an extremely small number of skilled people who were able to achieve these world records, but now your average player can train for a couple of days, and finish the easter egg in less than 20 minutes.
The reason why bo6 is boring, the game holds you’re hand for the pap, the Easter eggs are too quick and easy. And there is not enough to do in your match, you open pap, you get a sword and boom bobs your uncle. The ww quests are too quick, besides shooting zombies, the game doesn’t have much to offer
So tired of the Treyarch treadmill- “we are making this the best game ever with the most amount of content!” *flash forward 2 months, and they have to make the next game next year so they drop everything for the current game*
I can’t wait for the digsite map but I don’t think it’s a good idea to have the last 2 maps in liberty falls I mean Janus towers could be cool in my opinion but the mansion as a final map
I think the unique features of a map are spot on. They are kinda missing in the new maps. The setup in old maps was not more versatile, play a round of DE or Kino der Toten or IX. It’s the same every time, just like this game. In my opinion every gun feels very different in this game or maybe each type of gun. The old point system didn’t even change anything that much, Doughnuts made a good video about that. Still even though I don’t agree at all with the arguments presented I agree with the result - it feels different and I’m not as hooked. But maybe it plays a part that we have been doing this for so long now. Saying you reached Prestige 4 (like me) in Season 1 of a game isn’t that bad at all considering for how long you’ve been playing zombies. When Bo3 came out i was 16. so I would like to hear how a 16 year old me would feel about these maps, if this was their first real zombies experience. It would probably be magical aswell. The bossfights would also be hard. Finally I disagree with the hard bosses. IW has been out for like 10 years and you still trying to beat the final boss is not good replay value for me. Like even Elden Rings DLC boss took me only like 8 hours or something. That was kinda the maximum of being bearable. Good video (even though some points driven by nostalgia)!
Agreed . But not because of the maps . Although the maps in BO6 aren’t that great . But because of the bad systems & mechanics in this game ( Rarity / Heath bar / Easy gameplay / Score-Streak / Points system / Armor instead of Shield / … )
This game has no personality/soul! Outside of completing the EE’s for the first time, there’s nothing memorable about it.. Even Sker Ritual kinda hooked me more and yet the game was funky/laggy and kind of incomplete. But it felt like its own experience.
The way I see it. COD is not a game ur supposed to play exclusively. I’m prestige 7 and I play a ton of games. I’m excited and not bored of bo6 cuz I understand the purpose of cod. I also don’t play cod every year I played cw through to bo6. I’m very very happy with bo6 doesn’t mean I don’t wish it was even better I just think ppl need to understand that with any videogame that u play for hours and watch UA-cam vids on all the time ur gonna get tired that’s literally how everything in life works. On top of that. Many of us aren’t kids anymore. We see the silver lining where as years ago every game we played had a magic too it. Now some of that magic is gone because we have been playing games and watching content that pertains to them for so long. Bo6 is great. Not perfect but ppl really gotta branch out and play more things or get a life to understand that complaining about this game and saying it’s shit is literally brain dead
My go to zombies has been bo3 and cold war depending on how I'm feeling that day. Even though bo6 is not great it replaces the cold war itch a bit for me.
I’m only prestige 3 or 4 and stopped cause i didn’t feel like there was really a point to prestige in this game. It was enjoyable in Cold War but in BO6 it’s just meh and feels kinda pointless
You guys are all the sudden worried about these locations even though we’ve known about them since before launch? Alrighty. No, you UA-camrs are just taking advantage of the cod hate and making content out of it. Actually pathetic. It’s very rare to see an actually good cod content creator with their own ACTUAL OPINIONS nowadays. We have no f*cking clue what these maps will be like.
What? I've been worried for a while. I just didn't get around to making a video on it until now. Didn't make sense to talk about it before Citadelle even dropped. These are my own actual opinions. Everything I said in this video is my own opinion.
@ you and Lex so happen to release pretty much the exact same video at around the exact same time and also MONTHS after finding the leaks and also so happens to be when cod is “at its lowest point”🤷♂️
yeah I also got bored shortly after citadel came out and im only prestige 2. I regret spending $100 on the game. its not even nostalgia or that my attention span got bad bc i can literally go back to bo3 and i can play that nonstop. its just the end of zombies i guess.
Same here.. im also getting bored already. The last zombies mw3 with open map was way better in my opinion. Im not a fan of round based zombies like this because its always the same. There is no reason to play once you have killed the boss and did the easteregg. I remember that the last zombies with open world never got boring until you had all the schematics. Why isnt there a Dark Aether? They got rid of all the good stuff from mw3.
I think buildables should come back, most bo2 maps had unique buildables that fit the aura of the map now I feel like everything is augments and salvage, the maps just lack aura now🤷🏼♂️
For me the gameplay loop isn't as fun. It's not bad, just a bit too generic. The new points system is fundamentally worse and the mystery box is almost useless.
Nice to see the community being its usual complaining self over the most trivial things. Shock
Each BO3, IW, and BO4 map has more depth than BO6's maps. Sure, you can say that it's subjective, which partially that can be true because we don't all play for the same reasons, but just based on what options you have and what there is to do, yes, I would say it has more depth. I also haven't said that I am right and no one else is allowed to disagree. When it comes to replay value, that is definitely subjective, but isn't fully dependent on the amount of content. Regardless, people are allowed to criticize things. Would be pretty boring if we all thought the exact same way and never had any disagreements as a community.
@ of course people are allowed to criticise things but it’s important to remember to actually criticise when it’s deserved otherwise the major issues end up sounding less important if they see that the community will find every little thing to moan about. The same exact thing happened with bo4 during that game’s prime and 2 years later we end up with Vanguard because people decided at the time it wasn’t good enough. A lot of people’s “criticism” is that they aren’t like the older games and when they do something that is people still find a way to complain so they can’t really win can they? Just think it would be nice if the community learn to appreciate what we have now rather than looking for the bad in everything. If you say the game lacks depth how would you suggest they change this?
You are bored because it's too easy and the easter eggs are weak asf so it just becomes nothing but a camo grind simulator since there's nothing else to play for.
I really think everyone is blinded about Bo6 just because game support and community morale is bad right now. You talk about the depth of BO4 or IW when nobody liked those games to begin with. You want content for months and that's literally impossible, every zombies game gets repetitive and boring when you burn them. I bought BO3 1 year ago on steam, I played 180h and I dropped it because I did everything on that game. I have like 300h on BO6 and I still play it. Community sentiment and content creator opinions are everything to people that are chronically online, that's why everyone hates the game now. Mark my words, everyone will miss this game when it's cycle ends just like every cod game. Cod community is very predictable.
"Nobody liked those games to begin with" I mean... I did. Obviously this video is from a personal perspective and meant to represent how I feel. Not about how the community feels. I made it clear that I don't even need any more content or depth than what BO3 and BO4 already had. I'm not asking for more than what they are capable of doing since we've seen it done before.
I don’t really understand the narrative of this game having the same gameplay loop thus it’s boring when that same gameplay loop has been etched in zombies’ DNA since the beginning. The first few rounds are tedious, you’re probably opening the same door paths you always do, you start to setup, you more than likely get the same perks you always get, grab the same few good box weapons you always get, grab the wonder weapon and you’re all set by roughly the same round frame you usually are and now you just survive. Maybe do a side eater egg, maybe do the main quest, but a majority of the time it’s just the same thing everytime unless you’re actively attempting speedruns which probably 1% of the community does, you’re just chilling shooting zombies. I get everyone gets bored with things at different times and that’s totally okay. I’m also not saying BO6 is perfect. But I’ve seen this argument used so much especially when just comparing old and new zombies that I had to add my unnecessary 2 cents in.
I think people just have amnesia about old zombies at this point. Back then everyone loved Kino and that's the most simple shit ever created, now they want a fucking entire rpg game with 500 side quests and infinite content each map.
The gameplay loop of BO6 (and modern zombies in general) is quite different than older zombies. Mainly due to systems such as the point system, loadouts, rarities, etc. The way you play and interact with the maps is quite different. There's also less quest-related things to do to get setup compared to BO3 and BO4 (even some of BO2), so that has a different gameplay loop.
@@Xpertfusion I understand the gameplay loop is very different based on everything you’ve listed and I understand there may be less quests related to setting up but even then that’s never been what zombies has been about. Yes the mode has obviously gotten more side quests over the years but zombies is still just a survival game mode using fun weapons and just chilling. Obviously if you’re someone whose super into quests you’ll naturally get bored of the base survival gameplay. I personally really enjoy how they handled quests this year especially Terminus. Everything is straightforward but still offers enough of a challenge to be engaging. Again to each their own about how boring they think a game is, but I’ve enjoyed BO6 and CW (the only good WZ era zombies) for going back to basics and having awesome movement and gameplay mechanics. What classic zombies will always have until proven otherwise is unmatched art direction
Game is and always has been ass and mediocre its literally the same shit since CW, I told yall game will die in January cuz modern treyarch and activision just don’t have a fucking clue on how to do a GREAT zombies
Just to reiterate, this video is just meant to be sharing some concerns. That's all. I am still very excited for BO6's DLC maps and BO7 as well!
WHY IS IT ONLINE ONLY. WHY IS THERE A PAUSE TIMER FOR SINGLE PLAYER. ABSURDD
Always online is the lead up to them being able to co trol when the game gets permanently shutdown, it follows the ethos of "you will own nothing and be happy".
I have been bored for over a month now. Glad I am not the only one feeling like this.
It might be me. But the loadout system is what is making it boring every time. Spawning in with a pistol and trying to get the best guns from the box makes it a lot of fun. Instead of spawning in with the gun, i want and upgrade JUST that gun never spinning the box. To me its kinda killing it for me.
Lmao imagine crying over a loadout. You still have options. That’s why there’s gobblegums for wall powers and crate powers for a reason you noob lol
@@CaliCaliYeetyou definitely missed his point.
@@jonnyrussell6087 again that’s what gobble gums are for lmaooo. You can always still try to get a better gun. It’s not that hard. Obviously for some reason he’s hard for him. Maybe he’s just slow
I think I actually agree with you
I do pistol spawns and don’t use salvage to upgrade and just replace weapons.
The wooden stake,
That’s literally what we got with citadelle des morts thoufh
@ not really, the incantations are a good step in the right direction. However I’m talking about things outside of the main Easter egg.
Compared to the perseus strike, or gersch device where they're used for the main quest but they definitely hold up for non-quest related gameplay
What do you mean bo6 has the best side Easter eggs bowling, and boat race, serving drinks at a bar, becoming a superhero side Easter’s are goated
Lol what bo6 strong point is side ees 😂
@EvanThompson-bo5zvthey still don’t really serve a purpose, are some of them fun sure but they essentially just give you loot besides the ratking, the stuffed animal and the double point medal
@@myinnerchild why can’t something just be fun though? Isn’t fun the reason you are playing?
It’s okay to say the game isn’t that good
Nah guys don’t listen to this noob who probably suck at the game. The game can be pretty good and fun. Its just the bugs and lag issues that happens rarely often
That’s the conclusion I came to, it’s just not that good in my opinion
@@CaliCaliYeet”this noob” bro is definitely like 9 💀

Nowadays it’s designed to be a camo grinding simulator
The problem with BO6 Zombies is one of optimization. Legendary game designer, Sid Meier, once said "Given the opportunity, players will optimize the fun out of a game," therefore "one of the responsibilities of designers is to protect the player from themselves." BOCW and BO6 fails on this point.
Everything in BO6 has been streamlined and simplified - everything that created adversary for the player has been removed which allows players to B-Line to the easiest strategy everytime which is just boring. Every single game is: Spawn with gun I want camos on -> Upgrade PaP/Rarity/Get Wonder Weapon -> buy all perks -> get bored -> exfil
There's no randomness to the game, there's nothing that's forcing me into making an interesting decision or change my strategy in ANY way.
You pretty much nailed it. Exactly how I feel about modern zombies. It's too streamlined.
@@Xpertfusion Thanks, I'm in the exact same camp as you. I like BO6 Zombies in small bursts, but have no desire to play it game on game for the above reason.
I told ya man war zone zombies just ain’t it and never will be
It makes sense to have a scrap limit tied to kills, but limiting points exclusively to kills is problematic.
You mention it a minute later lol but still
People getting bored of zombies is because maps don’t nearly offer the amount of unique content that they used to.
I definitely think the mutant injection should be unique to each map, like, imagine if you could turn into a doppleghast in citadelle
@@tarcisiodiniz408 and instead of getting it with salvage, there should be a little quest to get them
@Kyledoggs totally! I think we should get rid of every in game menu
@ yes
For how long this game was worked on it should NOT be this boring
Imagine bitching about Zombies being repetitive and boring when you know that’s literally the whole natural of this unambitious side mini arena mode, and has always been for the Call Of Duty franchise.
He very obviously just made a bad career decision by saying back then that Zombies is his main focus for Call Of Duty and content creation.
brain dead take, bro cant be older than 15, youre NOT him dude
Fr idk what this dude is talking about lmao. He’s trippin
He legit plays the old cods goofball. The repetitiveness in the old modes was fine, but it’s atrocious in this game.
wouldn’t be so bored is the swords weren’t so lame
This is pretty spot on. Initial game play is fun when they release a new map but they lack unique features that only belong to that map. They need more depth to them. It also doesn’t help that data miners find all of the EEs the first week the map releases
in the same boat. haven’t played in like a month 😂
I too am STILL trying to solo IWZ.... There's just more to the older games.
@@Xpertfusioncouldn’t have said it better
So is this means bo3 zombies is also repetitive? Tf is y’all smoking on this time? I swear people be tripping on cod every year
@@CaliCaliYeetyes zombies gamemode is repetitive idk why ur so mad 😂
@ saying zombies repetitive is so dumb lmao idk why you suck at the game then for you to be thinking that🤣🤣
On bo6 zombies i feel like i do the exact same thing on the same round, near the same in game time as well.
I've played A LOT more BO6 within the last two months than I ever played MWZ lmaoo. MWZ had this same problem but 10 times worse (at least for me)
Even though I beat act 3. MWZ is far worse, easily the worst zombies.

To me, the Easter eggs are way to easier. The citadel Easter egg is inslanely short and easy
I feel the exact same way where i just don’t get motivated like I did in black ops 3
I don’t want weavers voice changed! 😭😭
Welcome to the club, Fusion.
I'm playing more bo4/bo3 zombies then I am playing bo6
I feel that it is the fact every player is doing directed mode n ee b4 I was jus a handful of ppl tryna fight the boss this one a full random team will beat the maps wit u which was hard back then
Great video, fully agree.
We also need a break from Zombies, bring back Extinction.
Ever since I got nebula I just haven't really been playing all that much after that.
I imagine it's MUCH easier to make one big map and chop it up into smaller Zombies maps than making each one from scratch.... Same old same old.
Honestly I play to max level and then some every cod zombies has been like that for me but I am bored as well of Bo6 first time experience this felling form a cod game with zombies by Treyarch
i dont think janus towers is in liberty falls. because you can see a map on terminus that shows a little indicator on where the mansion and janus towers are, and janus towers is far away in a different state from the mansion.
great video bro
Ive gone back to mw3 multiplayer AND zombies, i prefer the open world zombies map!!
Kiddo what are you even talking about lmao. You talking nonsense
Janus Towers seems just like a codename, because Janus is also a God's name.
Sounds facilitated to me
@@Themanhimself677then you are dumb
Takes away from what black ops is about
Please don’t watch any bo4 Easter egg speedruns then. The hardest Easter eggs of all time can be beaten in the 20-30 min range lmao
@@zaldigr863 well I mean I’m pretty sure the literal solo WR for citadelle is over 20 minutes but correct me if I’m wrong
Yk what would be cool, what if since Janus Towers is supposedly a nuclear plant, instead of it being in Liberty Falls its at Chernobyl?
Why we haven’t got a haunted house dlc map or carnival I will never understand
I can’t wait for the digsite map but I don’t think it’s a good idea to have the last 2 maps in liberty falls I mean Janus towers could be cool in my opinion but the mansion as a final map
Boss mode or something like that would be so cool like IW
Honestly citadel is going to go down as Top 5 Map of All Time. I think the problem is we are just ready for season 2 and the new zombies map😂
Couldn’t agree more, I got month game pass to grind bo6 and I’m not getting another month bc idec to play it
4 years.. and for what? Another mediocre title, it had so much potential.. still does, let’s just hope the leaks are wrong.
I actually think starting without a normal gun instead of a pistol, and boring maps is what makes this game not very interesting
What is the green light around him ?
They need to announce something exciting, like zombies chronicles
If they were ever gonna do it, next year would make a lot of sense
I’m only prestige 3 or 4 and stopped cause i didn’t feel like there was really a point to prestige in this game. It was enjoyable in Cold War but in BO6 it’s just meh and feels kinda pointless
I have no motivation to play bo6 zombies either. The exact same as u even tho I enjoyed it
You guys are all the sudden worried about these locations even though we’ve known about them since before launch?
I found myself returning to hell divers 2 bc its just the more fun PVE
Same here.. im also getting bored already.
I think buildables should come back, most bo2 maps had unique buildables that fit the aura of the map now I feel like everything is augments and salvage, the maps just lack aura now🤷🏼♂️
I’m gonna go for the mastery challenges in zombies
The maps will probably be the same level as terminus
For me the gameplay loop isn't as fun. It's not bad, just a bit too generic. The new points system is fundamentally worse and the mystery box is almost useless.
Nice to see the community being its usual complaining self over the most trivial things.
Why get rid of good features from black ops 2 over a decade ago???
Game is and always has been ass and mediocre its literally the same shit since CW, I told yall game will die in January cuz modern treyarch and activision just don’t have a fucking clue on how to do a GREAT zombies
