I bought a ton stuff for the first edition and even got it all painted. It's a great time and I'm very tempted to get even more now that this out. The plastics came out about a year after I bought my stuff in metal.
I recently purchased a box of the Gunslingers I figures, I have all 10 figures assembled but haven't painted them yet. I think that I paid something like $27.00 for the box, so that's around $2.70 per figure, which makes them quite reasonable. I was just wondering if more plastic items would be released any time soon, obviously yes! I've been a historical miniatures wargamer since 1978 and have been doing conversions since day one, I prefer hard plastic figures as they can easily be modified. I purchased 15-20 of the Old West Kibri buildings and HO scale Atlantic cowboys many years ago, I now plan on upgrading to 28mm and will most likely sell my HO scale items.
I love dead man's hand! just the cinematic wildwest experience paired with some card strategy elements... I have the OG starter set but I just have to get this one too lol
Waiting to buy the rules separately and most importantly mounted cowboys on horses. The minischere a re great but have been out a while. Please mounted cowboys soon.
Great game. plays fast, which is a requirement for skirmish rules for me. A tad cluncky as you have cards, tokens, markers, etc. but plays well. I've finally got my figures, town, and terrain finished, although I think there are a lot of saloons, which may be why there are so many gunfights.
Tossing collectibles around! Haven't you learned those things might be worth some serious $$$ in the future. Wasn't there a carriage in the box, or was that just for the Kickstarter? Still it's a great set!!! And all the stuff that is coming looks great! Exciting. Time to get into Dead Mans Hand!
Some options in the US: Badger Games, Kick Ass Mail Order, Michigan Toy Soldier. All sell Dead Man's Hand stuff though looks like none of them have this set available yet.
This game is excellent. The rules are superb and all the plastics that have/are come/ing out for the game are magnificent!

Scatter and Boardwalks are ace. I have used the original frames for so many things
I played the hell out of the 1st edition. Great game, great figures with a great price.
Saw this vid a couple of days ago and had to buy the box; just turned up today and looks really great. Cant wait to build and paint it
It was a bit difficult to get in the US, but my box set is finally arriving this week!

If you brought two starter sets could this scale up to a 4 player game?
