My MIL used to make those plaster doorstop, calico cat or dog. Filled the mold with plaster, let dry, then Modge Podge scraps of fabric onto it. If you wanted you could use a permanent marker to draw o. Stitch marks. Yes they weighed a lot. Definitely don’t want to jam your toe into it. I speak from experience.

You are correct at 10:50, the vanity dish/powder jar is silver plate. I bought one in the 80s.
When my son was little he had a tractor with Elmo in it. It got really annoying so we took out the batteries. It's still worked. Let him take it I. The bathtub. Still worked. A friend finally realized it had a watch battery in its bowels. Once that was out we were good.

The cat was made out of plaster of Paris. My mom made those in the 70s. Then she would decoupage fabric onto the cat.
