4 വർഷം മുമ്പ് ഒരു സുഹൃത്തിനെ എനിക്ക് ഇതുപോലെ സഹായിക്കേണ്ടി വന്നു.. 1 വയസ്സുള്ള ഒരു കുട്ടിയുടെ അമ്മ അയ അവർ 8 ദിവസം വേറെ ഒരാളുടെ കൂടെ പോയി. ഭാര്യയെ കൊല്ലാൻ ഇരുന്ന അവനെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിച്ചു. അവന്റെ ഭാര്യയുമായി സംസാരിച്ച് ഇലക്കും മുള്ളിനും കേടില്ലാതെ കാര്യങ്ങൾ പരിഹരിച്ചു, ഇരു ചെവി അറിയാതെ കാര്യങ്ങൾ അവസാനിച്ചു.. ഇപ്പോൾ അവർക്ക് 2 മത്തെ കുട്ടി ജനിച്ചു, എന്നെ നേരിട്ട് കാണിപ്പോൾ 2 പേരും കരയും.. അതുകൊണ്ട് മനഃപൂർവം അവരിൽ നിന്ന് അകന്നു നില്കുന്നു.

Fantastic movie. What a great way to showcase natural and subtle acting. Janardanan’s performance is superb. Watching him break down broke me down too. Oh how time flies. All the best actors are slowly passing away. Every generation feels that their actors and movies are the best. But truly in Malayalam cinema, all the older actors were truly gems. The movies, the stories, the music, the way a movie looks and is shot with the natural surrounding sounds is just something else. That cannot be achieved today. No one is alive to write the stories of back then, when the world was simpler.

Superb filmmaking. Also want to say, Mammootty had a genuine flexibility and charm in that role of an easygoing friend and husband. Considering how stiff he was known to be those days.

Here, the main character janardhanan is a good man at heart but he fails to think is his wife’s interests or even communication other than for daily needs like tea, food etc. the wife went looking for some care and attention which was definitely the wrong path she chose because he was not a good guy. Many women are living in this kind of conditions and some do into depression or they just live die the sake of living 😢

ഇതിലെ ക്ലൈമാക്സ് പലർക്കുംഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടില്ല.. പോരാ.. എന്നു പറയുന്നു. യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ കരമന അഭിമാനിയായ ഒരു ഉയർന്ന നിലയിൽ ജീവിക്കുന്ന ആളാണ്.. കരമന. ഭാര്യ ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോയത് അയാൾക്ക് വളരെ അപമാനം ഉണ്ടാക്കി.. അതിലേറെ ദുഃഖവും.. അയാൾ തിരികെ ഭാര്യയെ സ്വീകരിച്ചാൽ പിന്നെയുള്ള ജീവിതം അതിലും അപമാനകരമായിരിക്കും.. ഉർവശി ആ ഒരു കാര്യം പറയുന്നുണ്ട്.. ഒരു സന്ദർഭത്തിൽ അയാൾ സീമയെ കൊല്ലാൻ തീരുമാനിക്കുന്നു. പക്ഷേ അതിനേക്കാൾ സീമയ്ക്ക് നല്ലൊരു പ്രതികാരം ആണ് സ്വന്തം ജീവൻ ബലിയർപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് അയാൾ നൽകുന്നത്.. ആ മെക്കാനിക്ക് സീമയെ കണ്ണും കയ്യും കാണിച്ച് വശീകരിക്കുന്ന രംഗങ്ങൾ കൂടെ ചേർക്കാമായിരുന്നു... സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ മുന്നിൽ അപമാനിതനായ അയാൾ ഇനി ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കേണ്ട എന്ന് തീരുമാനിക്കുന്നു.. അത് തന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്ന.. താൻ സ്നേഹിച്ചിരുന്ന.. ഒടുവിൽ തന്നെ വഞ്ചിച്ച ഭാര്യയോട് തന്റെ ജീവൻ ബലിയർപ്പിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുള്ള പ്രതികാരം..കരമന അഭിനയിച്ച കഥാപാത്രത്തിന്റെ സ്ഥാനത്ത് നിന്ന് നമ്മൾ ചിന്തിച്ചാൽ ക്ലൈമാക്സിൽ വലിയ അത്ഭുതം ഒന്നും തോന്നില്ല.. ശാരീരികമായും മാനസികമായും അശക്തനായ അയാൾ മറ്റെന്ത് പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യാനാണ്. ആ മെക്കാനിക്ക് കണ്ണും കൈയും കാണിച്ചപ്പോൾ സീമ അതിൽ ഭ്രമിച്ചു പോയി. ഭർത്താവിൽ നിന്നും കിട്ടാത്ത സ്നേഹവും പരിഗണനയും അയാളിൽനിന്ന് കിട്ടുമെന്ന് പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചു. പെണ്ണുങ്ങൾ പുറമേ കാണുന്നത് പെട്ടെന്ന് വിശ്വസിച്ചു പോകും.. അതാണ് ഇവിടെയും സംഭവിച്ചത്.. അത് മനസ്സിലാക്കുമ്പോഴേക്കും ജീവിതം തിരികെ പിടിക്കാൻ ആകാത്ത വിധം കൈവിട്ടു പോയിരിക്കും..

Here, the main character janardhanan is a good man at heart but he fails to think is his wife’s interests or even communication other than for daily needs like tea, food etc. the wife went looking for some care and attention which was definitely the wrong path she chose because he was not a good guy. Many women are living in this kind of conditions and some do into depression or they just live die the sake of living 😢
