Saw them live this summer and boy, what a show. These fellas are so raw, energetic and fun. Also hung with them a little after the gig and they were so nice!
You can't mix a show that way. I saw these guys at First Avenue in Minneapolis a couple weeks ago. At one point his pedal board shit the bed and he went straight into the amps. The volume was obviously just stage volume until the tech came up and turned down the amps so they could put in back into FOH.
This was great, I've been curious about this sound for some time now. What was the ABY switch for, didn't he say both amps were set the same or were they not? I noticed on their last tour he was running Hiwatt and Park amps and you could really hear the difference using the Hiwatt for his cleaner stuff. Great band that keeps getting better.

I was at this show and the two whole stacks caught my eye, obviously. Hadn't seen that before, especially as everyone has gone small. Thought BB would be too small for one whole stack, but nope.
Simples! Do a explorer signature guitar but with a shape cut into the body for the strap to lay into the body over the front of the guitar as you have it over the body! I think that Would look unreal and no one has done that! Thank me by letting my band tour with you. x

I haven’t heard of them until today and looked them up. I think this style would sound best with him on a telecaster. The fat but bright crunch and snarl of a tele bridge pickup would be perfect for this band.
Saw them in Oakland Saturday, he used the V. Agreed he'd sound good on a Tele, but they're a 3-piece and I think the fatness of humbuckers fills things out nicely. They were great, by the way
I have a Gibson RD Artist and found that putting the strap over the top leans the guitar towards you and holds it steady making it much easier to play. I do agree it looks a little goofy.
It sucks, but that’s a..thing.. My Dean ML would do this neck diving thing unless I did that, it anchors it against your torso. I do it both ways,it’s a choice between looks-funny or feels-funny,
Allen Collins and Rickey Medlocke of Skynyrd/Blackfoot used to/do it. I do it myself and I can assure you it makes playing these guitars way easier when standing up. It‘ll get the guitar closer to your body and thus give you easier access to the fretboard.
Explorers may look chunky, but they aren't at all. Once you have it on the body, the neck, everything about them feels slinky. Especially compared to a LP.

Great band, I've been following them since their first full album. Incredible live act. Amy Taylor is an amazing front person
17+ minutes spent with Declan and we still don't know the story of the strap over the wing. After trying it myself, I realized it feels hella comfy!
I imagine it's an allen Collins lynard skynyrd type thing.
