I can’t imagine how terrible her bodyguard felt when he found her. Rip.
Absolutely traumatising! Poor guy...
DON'T THINK SO 🤔😶

Why you don’t think so?
I feel sorry for the bodyguard, but COMPLETELY blame those close to her just mooching off of her, especially her Fater.
My cousin was an alcoholic. His liver was so bad that he needed a transplant. The doctors told him he would have to be sober for one year to qualify for the surgery. His sobriety lasted a little more than 6 months. He died shortly afterwards. He was in his 30s. He didn't have children yet. RIP cousin.
I’m so sorry to hear that ❤️
People must understand that alcohol is a drug.
100% true
Recovering addict and we say alcohol is 💯 a legal drug, you don’t understand that until your body is physically dependent and you want to stop but can’t just stop cold turkey without medical supervision otherwise you could die, as with heroin
@malgorztka - Literally!
And she used both to help wothemtal.issues such as depression anxiety..she was using to cope..with the.tpemt.in her mind..
most drugs wont give you cancer or heart disease or cause organ failure or a zillion other things alc does even in moderation, it's toxic to every organ, no amount is safe, it's much worse than any drug
she was so gorgeous
And even more talented!
She had a recognisable voice
💯💯💯💯 and so REAL
I just saw Back to Black!I have always loved Amy-she died of a broken heart imo-loosing her Nan and Blake was too much for her,the actress that portrayed her was soo good
Don't think the film is an actual true pic documentary...real life was a lot harder and grittier. The last years of Amy's life were without Blake (her soulmate and Prince Charming in the film) Real life for Amy wasn't as romantic as Back to Black pretends, believe me
Amy was bulimic and would probably have survived an alcoholic binge is she wasn’t so frail. Rest in peace Amy you are a beautiful soul 🕊️
I was bulimic for a long time and then I had binge drinking problem for some time after that - even after I quit being bulimic, my gag reflex was never the same. Even to this day, the tiniest thing will make want to hurl. Alcohol exacerbates that problem especially because you're more likely to throw up when you're drinking anyway...I just feel so bad for her. What a painful awful way to pass away...
Really? That’s so sad.
Thank you for your songs amy😢😔🌹🕯️💔
Remember the day well. RIP Amy 😢🎉❤
She was a beautiful woman, a major talent and tragedy all in one! Rest In Peace babe!
Tragedy times thousands. I didn't know her but have been drawn by her life story. Very Sad
Brilliant documentary about a sad subject. Well done 👏🏼
Like so many amazing stars, another one has sadly left us 😔 Thank you for this, we love her & you've done her proud 💖
She was mentally unstable and needed serious help..so much help..she needed more than rehab.
I used to frequent Camden Town in the early to mid 2000's watching bands. There was quite a scene there especially with desert rock bands, but sadly I never saw Amy playing. I moved to Mexico in early 2006 for 2 years and it wasn't until I returned I got back into the music scene but not to the same extent as before as I had a young son and was planning on moving to the US, but I heard her music and loved it. I got my US visa, booked a flight on the 26/07/11 and was so excited until the 23rd when I heard on the news she'd passed. Kinda put a dampener on things. RIP Amy gone too soon x
What is a desert rock band?
Rest. in. Piece. Beautiful Amy
Amy from. holland. God. bless. your. Soul. ❤❤❤
With a group of friends late night stumbling through Kentish town lying on a table outside a pub was Amy alone bottle in hand,,one of the girls went over ask she was alright ,she turned to us ",Fuck off,,"😂dear soul
Omg! Did this happen to you?😭🤣 god love her raw honesty
Reminds me of Father Jack. XD
Really? Mmmnh hauntingly beautiful she rejected fallacy is integrity.
Amy you are such a beautiful person and I love and miss you ❤❤❤ R I.P Angel ❤❤❤
This is so sad. She was sick and no one helped her.what a shame
Don’t you remember- people tried to get her into rehab but she kept saying “no no”. Well…..
she had a personal physician whod come to her house whenever she wanted, no one has that, she had all the help anyone could dream of
Rest in peace, sweet Amy❤
What a voice and talent, it's a sad story and hard to watch someone choosing to walk a path that will destroy them. The only way to break out of a destrctive cycle ia love(love and support from others but most importantly love for yourself)r.i.p amy
“What a voice and talent” why thank you 🙏
I’m in love with her balenciaga fluro green shoes and her vocals ❤
RIP❤❤❤
You know Librium is fatal if taken with alcohol, it slows the heart rate and blood pressure with fatal consequences...I'm sorry...but what sort of person with any intelligence would give that to a chronic alcoholic/ bulimic?
:(
Well... they didn't when they saw she fell off the waggon. A lot of meds are dangerous with alcohol. It's not the doctors fault, that's not why she died.
i'm an alcoholic and i've taken librium for withdrawals a few times (more than i'd like to admit) with valium/ativan, like they mentioned, through an IV. it's actually a godsend, it makes it so you can quit without seizing and dying. and makes going cold turkey so much more bearable. i was first prescribed it after seizing from withdrawals and after that i needed it every time i fell off the wagon again and wanted to stop. it didn't solve all my problems but it at least initially got me sober every time. and now i work on the rest in AA lol
@@annnee6818. The video said Amy refused another prescription, which implies that the doctor offered the pills to her again. At any rate, it sounds like you’re correct, in saying that’s not what killed her…unless she hadn’t been taking the pills and took them later, while drinking, but I haven’t heard that mentioned as a cause of death.
been standard treatment for many decades
This is so sad 😢. I love her music 🎶, RIP. ❤
Rip 😢
😢💔
Dr had no business giving her a script for benzodiazepans when he knew she was drinking . She should’ve been given antebus .
Most likely she’d been prescribed them for alcohol withdrawal.
@@filmretrospective5334 I’m a Dr, never prescribe these meds unless under direct supervision as in rehab. Seizures from alcohol withdrawal can be dangerous but taking with alcohol multiplies the damage to liver.
Ya but alchol and benzos kill you.
You have to have them for alcohol withdrawal. Which both cause death inducing seizures if stopped abruptly. She was famous and had money and had previously told the dr she wanted to stop. I don’t even think she had much of the drug in her system. I’m a recovered heroin addict and absolutely need my anxiety meds to help my mental state right now. It’s the anti anything narcotic we need to put an end to to somewhat help this issue.
@@geraldinelafayette1838 I’m a Dr so you don’t have to have them for alcohol abide
Alcohol is a SPIRIT. If you want to overcome it you must cast out and resist this spirit.
Father Merrin: I cast you out, unclean spirit!
Pazuzu: Shove it up your ass, you f*****!
Legenda em português 🙏🏽
Such a sad ending
If she quit and started by many times. Sounds like she waa a binge drinker and they say thats worse than drinking everyday. So sad.
I'm wondering, the bodyguard checked her at 10:30 am. The video says an ambulance crew member noticed rigor mortis around 4:00 pm. Would she have been dead by 10:30 am-I don't know.
the real problem is that alc. is a poison, we need something better, feeling good shouldnt have to be synonymous w/ruining one's health
That’s sad 😢
Very very very sad.
My mum was with her friends one the day she died
Something about her father rubbed me the wrong way.
it’s not even like she was a young 19 year old girl i always thought she died of a broken heart over a guy. i see now she was almost 30 feeling this way and being so obviously broken around her loved ones.. “bored” of life and feeling hopeless.
Bulimia and fame .horrendous .poor girl
If being underweight causes mental anxiety its prob why she drank
Such a terrible waste of a life that was only just beginning In the entertainment world. She still had so much more to give.
I feel like she had BPD 😢
Maybe? But who can say. Impossible
I think she definitely did.
The way she acted and the things both of her parents said and did point to that.
Her obsession with Blake would kind of confirm that too...bc anyone else would see him for what he was...he was indeed her favorite person, and trauma bond...
Its really dangerous to drink on top of lithium and Valium. I know valiums a benzodiazepine im not sure about lithium though and quitting cold turkey can kill you. Did she stop drinking and taking those meds cold truley because if so thats a death wish. My ex partner died like that.
But her issue was more than alcohol
Great video!!! 🎉❤
.4% BAC. She was doomed.
That girl was an amazing singer, I loved Back to Black. Another tragedy to the 27 club.
Why do you not mention her Heroin addiction?
Guessing because video chronicled Amy's Last Day, and she'd been clean of heroin for some time.
@mikemulvany3325 that would make sence!!!.....but heroin would of played a part in her death because of the damage it would of done to her body...along with the eating disorder and alcohol addiction
@@maxinesymmons9711 heroin doesnt damage the body, it's the methods of use that do plus not eating well, alc. does tho.
I wonder if her old flat is haunted?
You are responsible for your own destiny
Substance Use Disorder is not a choice.
If its destiny, how its your responsibility?
You didn’t think this thru, didn’t you
Sad as fuck ❤
Amy out....Gaga appears......
Too true...
Gaga was already well established in 2011
Gaga had been famous since 2008.
So ya said “no no” to rehab. How’d that work out for ya? 🤔
Is amy a male ?
yes
What? 😂
Shut up.
This is not a documentary?👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
No one sees the severity of the situation because they think it won't happen to them, but yes, it does!!! I'm dying of liver failure from alcohol. I never listened, just like Amy, but now I wish I had. But now it's too late... Over and out. 🫡
Its not over till its over. Hope you get through this.
