Actually you came close to shooting a clean game Packy! Those Brooklyn strikes reminded me of my Dad's early bowling in league. He kept going Brooklyn and striking and he asked teammate what he should change. Told him do not change a thing and he shot 269 with all the strikes Brooklyn. Oh, he was also left-handed!

Gigis plastic ice hitting 25 at release and about 10 at break board and stiking was ridiculous n idk what leftys ball went up 7 at release n didn't touch 10 was absolutely bonkers cuz I'm lefty n have used a tzone on a 36 foot patter before but I have alot of revs

Dumb question, but is it legal to use an electric sander to surface your ball?
Back in the early 80's, I had a ball I stopped using...it was too light (12 lbs) and conventional grip, so it had to go. We had a 70 ft driveway that we built a hockey net to use in. Well the hockey net was great at stopping the ball and pins from hitting the house. I think I got maybe 3 games in before the ball just wasn't safe to put my fingers in anymore. My brother had not been putting his thumb in (forward thinking huh? LOL ). Anyways, we both sucked bowling on ashphalt. But it was fun. Sorta similar to taking a orbital sander to a new ball. Thinking you overthought many of those shots...just be the ball man. haha. Cool video! Oh yeah, one ball did get away from us...and bounced off the aluminum siding. My Dad blamed my brother for hitting the house with his car. HAHA!! I cannot confirm or deny if it was my green 12 lb plastic ball.
Haha I laugh at this because I use an orbital sander that I attach my surface pads to and buffing pads to if I wanna polish a ball.. I mean it works perfectly

A great test would’ve been 220 grit in a spinner vs 220 on the orbital sander. Other than consistency of finish they should be really similar!

Reminds me of the time I went to Bowlmor in Times Square 10 years go with some coworkers. I had a weak reactive ball with me, threw it on the lane and it hooked right off. I asked the staff if they oil the lanes, they said yeah about once a week. So I stood far right and threw at the left gutter (I'm a lefty too).

Why won’t the video load
You must know this because you're a pro but anyone can restore an old ball by baking it in a low temp oven on a folded brown paper shopping bag on a cookie sheet until the bag stops soaking up oil. 2 hours is usually more than enough at 170F.

220 is weak sauce. Try 80. My Dad had a bowling ball in his arsenal that he sanded to 80, and he couldn't keep it on the lane.
Gave it to a buddy to use on heavy oil, and he scored higher than everyone there! (Just for the league night)
