I've been following AC vlogs for about 3 years or so and in just these 20 minutes you've shown me more of AC than 95% of the other vlogs I've watched over that 3 years. Thanks!
Hello fella Angeles City is my mum’s hometown thanks for sharing your video I’m from London uk 🇬🇧. Have you tried the food in Angeles? we are the culinary capital of the Philippines 🇵🇭 hope you enjoy Angeles 👍🏽
Nice walk around. Nice to see a different part of Angeles City. If I go back there again I hope to have more time to check out other areas. There are lots of Koreans there and a lot of the bars on Walking Street are Korean owned. Phillies was my place to sit and people watch. It was cheaper than the place you were at. The staff at Phillies was great and the food was very good too.
Back in the days that public market used to be very crowded with shoppers. I used to shop there, food and clothes. There was no Puregold yet at that time in 1990’s.
I had no idea but now I know. They always show that famous party street and that's what I thought Angeles City was but now you showed me what the real Angeles City is all about. Lol !!!
Hi, im from Angeles City but i live in Japan, havent seen it for 4 years, thanks for showing my hometown! Btw its Jenra Mall, not jenna 👍 Subscriber here!
I heard that they are banning Jeepney's in PI and they are no longer allowing them to renew their licenses. The drivers will need to get newer vehicles by the corporations to improve the looks.
Yea many cities and towns are moving to the air conditioning buses now. It's a step by step process but in Iloilo the busses are very regular already and the price is 2 pesos more only for a short trip
Michael, My home turf there, "kind of." I use to work on Clark AB back in the 80-90s and still have family there. A lot has changed there. I'm glad you don't show us walking street, its over done! Around Angeles, there are a lot of nice places to eat now, Candi tower(s) are very nice to tour the rooms, and Clark has nice rental homes, SM Mall, Water park, Safari. Also, I like traveling to downtown Angeles and San Fernando for shopping areas. You really need to spend a week there to see all the expat points of interest. Thank for sharing. Please be careful around walking street at night if you go anywhere near that area. Pick pocket teams are very active there. BTW...point to point nice A/C BUS ride from SM Clark to Manilla Airport is only 400 pesos and leaves every hour for a 2 hour trip. Thank for sharing.
Like the US, words in the Philippines have different rules depending on the origin of the word. if the word has spanish roots then the "J'" is pronounced as an "H" otherwise they are pronounced as normal "J".
Hi, new subscriber here. enjoying your content. Just spent 5 days Scuba diving in Subic followed by 5 days Angeles then Boracay all of which my buddies and I have explored often over the last 8 years. Whilst I have nothing against Koreans its clear what's happening in Walking Street now. Most of the bars are Korean owned and clearly catering for that clientele. Girls often looking past you are waiting for Koreans to walk in where they get a huge reception regardless of age shape, size or looks. Bar Fine prices is the quickest example of the systematic way they are going to drive westerners away to concentrate on Koreans prepared to date these girls for days on end starting now at 5000 peso minimum. There are so many girls in Angeles it's still easy to find a nice friend but don't expect quality. You will see them walking hand in hand Koreans during the day taken very early form bars then playing the romance game. Rest assured we are not cheap Charlies and actually very generous everywhere we go and all physically pretty good just seeing a huge change from the girl's attitude in a short time. Thankfully still, there's always Taquila Reef where the frozen margaritas that don't change. Thanks again for your vid.
It's great to see the other side of Angeles. Also nice to see Walking street before it got torn up for construction and envy's closed. Astute observation about all the Koreans and lack of interest from the bar girls for westerners.
I also like Clairemont in Angeles and Clark a very nice village. There are also ancestral houses in Angeles and they are located in one street. There are also a lot of ancestral houses in San Fernando but more scattered.
Wherever you were did not look anything like what I saw in Angeles City when I was there. Granted I DID stay near Walking Street so that was obviously a mistake! It was definitely dirtier and not well kept near that area and I hated it. I should have explored further out like you did but I was only there a week. ;)
Terrific stroll video, Mike. I'd request that you slow down the scans a bit. It makes me dizzy when you spin the camera left to right, then right to left. It's a blur and can cause nausea (I say, as I run it back to look at the video again).
My wife Maryann and I are selling our house in California and preparing to move to the Philippines lm still watching all your videos to see a location we might be interested in living but we will stay in Pasay Manila until we find the best place keep up the amazing work Michael till we meet again!!!
I must admit one generally only thinks of walking st and the sleeze that goes with it but this area looks pretty good but proberbly not a tourist destination..
bonjour! both my parents are from pampanga...Capampangans are good on cooks.... i remember the clarck airbase airport...the libingan ng mga bayani...😊... and it is said that there are many prostitutes in the balibago area😊✌✌
Hmm I spent 3+ hours not there and 10 minutes there the video edited down was 95% away from walking street and the 5% was only because there is a chance I'll see people who subscribe. So why not go there for a sandwich
@@ThatPhilippinesLife Ah never mind woke up grumpy you do what you want to do never have to explain anything to some old grumpy man hahaha you have fun and enjoy life here you deserve it .....

What, you mean you find no value in the videos from Bozo the White Board Clown?
@@Man-In-The-Home-Stretch-60 😀 It took me a minute but I just figured out what you meant.
I don't think I have ever seen this part of Angeles city thanks for showing the beauty of the city and not just walking street and night life🎉
Nice walk about. Always nice seeing something different than walking street.
I've been in the Philippines 🇵🇭 2 times already and have friends there to visit to go again.very friendly people.
Things has really changed. I lived there back in 71-72. Went to school at Sacred heart seminary. I remembered well nepo mart.
12:01 LOL thought the same thing! Angeles City is Definitely Filipino. Thanks for the tour, Michael....Jim

You are definitely a class act to not drag us through Walking Street. 👍🏼

Keep in mind I'm there middle of the afternoon, the hottest part of the day so perhaps later or earlier it was swamped. Thank you
That's a nice city
Expats are what actually made Angeles City!

1:27 saw you on that day, never got a chance to say Hi. Hopefully I get another chance in the future. Glad you liked AC!
Next time
That is a nice and clean area of AC 💚 Enjoyed the tour.

Angeles city is first class highly urbanized place

Thanks so much! I've been to several of those Clark places (on the other channel) but a couple I haven't too
I've walked down thise same streets! I go to Newstar Market for household supplies. Its a busy area but has everything you need.
Oh what a relief it is, no walking street. PITP shows that street 98% of the time. I have never seen this part of AC thanks for the tour.
Cool and historical Angeles City, Pampanga, the Philippines + Jumbo Jenna at its finest! ❤

In the Philippines, nothing is bigger than SM or Shoe Mart. I remember that you've been to the MOA or MALL OF ASIA.
Oh yes I have so huge! but I was comparing to the SM in Angeles city :)
It's great to see the other side of Angeles.

I love the "I'm fine!" guy selling oranges haha
Edit: And the kid who walked off with all the bags! lol
"Give me five" :)
He was asking for 5 pesos 🙃

Hey man do a Vlogger of the Clark Hospital to day is a good time..
Hows the smell of the market there? so many market mall! I wonder if they sell organic fruits and produce...😁
This one was good smell, I'm sure many come from nearby farms as close to organic as you'll see in a market
I was thinking the same, how do they sell all that food?
I'm not crazy afterall
Friendly town
Indeed

I went there in High School called Holy Angel University.
Angeles city is not all about red light district Clark is a nice place to go to and golf courses are nearby
I must admit one generally only thinks of walking st and the sleeze that goes with it but this area looks pretty good but proberbly not a tourist destination..
They have a hot air balloon festival each year, and so far every year I missed it, hope to catch it one year for sure
Nice stroll around the local areas..Just avoid the girls on the red district 😁🙏🤙🇵🇭
They are harmless 😉
Thats another branch of Jenra supermarket in Angeles City
That school is my alma mater☺️
Go to marquee mall area much modern place.
That's where I arrived and almost two years ago that was the first place I renewed my visa! It is a nice mall
They have Timmie's there too ... Double Double and a sour cream glazed for me 😂😂😂😂
What???? How did I not know this?
Have you visited Mabalacat City?
Not yet
I would love to see a video where you visit Mabalacat City.
Could tell me the Lebanese restaurant address please because I have been to angeles city few times but seen it before 😊
11:51 We live in a simulation.
It is “San Nicolas” not “St Nicolas”
Im wondering how the yacht party turned out
I bet amazing

Maybe in Clark its more American scenario
Clark is going to be the most modern city in the Philippines with all the plans they announced
to bad the Snowbirds cant make their way abroad for Airshows
Isn’t that the same places other vloggers go? Walking street is like the strip in Vegas with more pros! Why go there??
Hmm I spent 3+ hours not there and 10 minutes there the video edited down was 95% away from walking street and the 5% was only because there is a chance I'll see people who subscribe. So why not go there for a sandwich
What are you doing there? maybe at one point in my life I wanted to go there but this is not the place for me ...Good choice for a single man I guess.
I travel around and I'm visiting a family I met when I lived on Boracay for a couple days who moved here. After this to La Union
