Many quality performances and way beyond my expectations. It's not often that the music enhances the film but this production ticked all the boxes. Many thanks for making this available.
I found myself hating the cowardly sheriff and then realized that is exactly what the actor was trying to pull off and it worked. The viewers were also manipulated to hate the wanted men criminals which also worked perfectly. One could feel the evil of the lawless west and the price we all pay when our protectors are cowards. I would have preferred the sheriff letting the last guy go though the ending seems open for options. A sparse perfectly executed barren landscape echoes the hearts and hopelessness which abounds. A very dark yet realistic depiction of some lawless place now a forgotten ghost town. Interesting camera work and edits. Lots of promise here with bright futures for some.
I really enjoyed this short western movie. Very professionally made in every sense. Well done to all the participants. I hope it will not be your last western!
What a surprise. The plot twist, injection of morality, and ultimate acceptance of responsibility make this a dense and thoughtful short film. Excellent.
I really enjoyed this film. Solid performances. Effects were excellent. Even the music was great. Love that the American western is alive and well even across the pond.
Just like every other Short Movie I have ever seen! Just leaves you Hanging! I stopped watching these type of Movies years ago and they are all the same ....................?
Sunglasses, or "colored," glasses were definitely used in the 19th century. They were invented around the mid 1750's, and by the 1800's they were used mostly for health related reasons, such as eye fatigue, and sun blindness. They were also used for syphilis patients, as sensitivity to sunlight is a symptom. They were not widely used until the 1920's, where they were used more as a fashion statement, and resembled the modern day look, that we know, more closely.
Kinda annoying reading some of the negative comments, that I bet would be from people who have never made anything…. The only thing they have contributed in their life is a few useless negative comments…….
TROPIC pictures??? NO TROPICS HERE!!! "scenery" was ugly. raspy voice, irritating. the general mood, dismal.... i'm stiiil wondering, whooo gave the "award"... the producer? maybe the writer? & the award was 'for'...??? is evil, hate, murder & revenge 'really' up for honors? not to mention--- he walks in unrecognised? ha! & waits for his move til 'after' they're scattered? the only good part was the sheriff's last line! if i've made you curious you may waste 20+ minutes. sorry to have met like this. LOL.

Interesting use of the old "bulletproof table" trope.
I liked it. Good one. It does not want to be more than it is.
What a great movie and it was worth all my time to watch it it was very well-acted. Thank you so much and hope to see more of you're westerns.

Oh noez.
Anyways.
🙄
This is brilliant! Thank you for providing such beautifully in-depth characters. I like how this isn't a typical western. Good job!
All dead 💀 eve
Short, sweet and to the point. Thank you.
The real question is: How many men can leave this town without a horse? The answer is: Only one man with a horse🐎.
How did this ever win an award, was the award the "Rip Off Clint Eastwood Spaghetti Western Award"
As if there is such a thing as an original thought?
The judges were either paid well , or there's a relative involved , or the judges were good friends. A misrepresentation of the West in every respect.
Bravo!❤
AWESOME SHORT.
Love the Clint Eastwood impression
Nicely done.
Well done, captivating, well shot and edited. However, the ending fell a little flat. Fantastic effort overall! Let's have more!
Oh yes ! That was so very good. Well done.
Pretty good movie
Loved it . Cast me on the next one akadroldog
good short western movie, thanks friend
Nice shades for the wild west.
I believe they were originally called eye preservers and sun goggles.

I really loved this. This was as good as any big movie I've seen. One question though, did the sheriff shoot him in the end?
that is left up to the individual viewer...
we heard the gun shot!!
Not bad Western, I did hear a bit of Clint Eastwood whisper talk.
Who performed the song in the beginning
Outstanding!
* Opening credits however, served only as distraction from visuals/atmosphere.
Not invested in seeing who did what until end...
I like Clint
Know Nigel since adges, but still don’t know who he is ?
what is the name of the song at the beginning and the artist?? does anyone know?? Jack pierce did the music but I can't find anything else.

@@corrupted3372 do you know where to find chords and lyrics for it?
Very good . I have a hard time watching western anymore most arent made very well .
5 minutes is enough to know that the next 15 mins will be just as bad.
It took you five minutes? You must have been distracted. I was convinced it was pretty bad before the Open credits were over. 🙊
The next 15 minutes got really good 😂
Then make a better one. I thought it was pretty decent.
That's means is gonna be a sequence.

is there a reason this film was concieved
For the pure hell of it. I hope.
To show you the basic plot of every Western. 😁 lol
Yeah intro is to long but for such a short film I thought it was great.

Sorry you angry cow pie eaters, it's a decent western.
Intro song is to long and film was worse from there. Ugh!

Plot stolen from Clint Eastwood film...too many standard western tropes
potential....but a C-
What a joke
Lol. Award winning? Must have been the winner of the stupidest Western award...
Not good.
This plot rips off Unforgiven.
What utter rubbish.
What award did it win; the Ronald Reagan award?
Couldn't watch past 5 min., horrible acting!!
Had to watch for myself. Its true. It bare crap. Bare rubbish.
I watched until the end. All around garbage.
Some fair blocking and sets, otherwise insipid melodrama. Award-Winning? Pathetic.
Who wrote this crap?
do you mean comments like yours?
Terrible acting. Made by college students I’m guessing ?
Average, good try guys.
And the winner for the "Worst Western Ever" is...
Waste of time.
this is a total rip off / copy of an old movie with Clint Eastwood , get a life
