Established in 1958, the Washington International Horse Show (WIHS) is one of the most historic and exciting equestrian events in North America. The six-day show includes Olympic-level jumping, top national hunter and equitation events, and community and charity events. So my 16.1 hand stallion and me cleared 2.18 meters CLEAN!! Which is 7'1 FT, went to go do it again and I was a goner....flew right over reins still in hand....that might sound bad but the best part was as soon as he saw me hit the ground he started to whinny and started licking my face. My horse and my cat....two best friends I ever had in my life!

If you have to whip a horse to get it to do what you want, you're a terrible rider/trainer.

Whipping is alright, as long as you dont do it too hard and often. The horses dont feel much its more like a tickle to them, hope this helps! :)
