i guess im asking the wrong place but does someone know of a way to get back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot my account password. I would love any assistance you can offer me.
We should all be grateful for these people and others for all they have done to make America a better country. The work is not done,we should never forget and keep fighting for a better tomorrow.
This story would make a wonderful television mini-series that would probably do much to open more eyes to the issues Black Lives Matter is trying to bring to America's attention. It would be difficult not to make great television from an inspiring story of naive, idealistic and mostly white college students answering a call from committed black activists in MIssissippi to come down for the summer and live with black families to help end segregation. The real story has so much drama and tension that it would be difficult to making boring television from it. I'd love to see a Freedom Summer mini-series over the course of a summer, with the first episode in June and the finale at the Democratic convention in Atlantic City
@UncleMikeNJ I agree. I've given the topic further thought between now and when wrote the comment. I'm not sure if mainstream society would be willing to accept the way mainstream Mississippi society would have to be shown for a realistic portrayal of life in that time and place. I've read quite a few biographies of people who took part in Freedom Summer. The racism that everyone lived with in that segregated society was pretty much like the water that fish swim in.
I was treated as white all my life... I was born in the South I saw the hate from both sides white and black But in 1955 the first day back in Florida from KOREA He saw an young black man that he grown up with hang to death for being to friendly to a white girl when he got of the bus to see his mother in St. Cloud, Central Florida in 1968/69 I had to seat in a school that was for Colors only for over 50 yrs in Miami Fl. Because my sister and I was 1/8 American Indian -3/8 white and 1/2 PR Spanish we was the perfect STUDENTS for meeting how many cultures was TO BE IN one school
NOW BLACK PEOPLE VOTE FOR WHO IS GOING TO WIN A BET AWARD INSTEAD OF VOTING FOR A HONEST GOVERNMENT SAD WE CAN DO ANYTHING EVEN BE THE PRESIDENT LETS VOTE IN 2020 I HAVE VOTED SINCE I WAS 18 ITS A BUEATIFUL FEELING🙏
One of the reasons why I always vote (never missed a single one since I turned 18). People gave their own life for us to have the right to vote.
Yet voting doesn't do anything, which is sad
ChrisAstro me too
So glad to know another person gets it. I think of these three gentlemen every time I vote.
@ChrisAstro theres a VAST distinction between giving ones life and having ones life taken. Im sure my Ancestors would agree

I voted for myself. Non of these politicians are our friends.
The fight for voting rights is definitely not over, but progress is strong. Warnock's victories in Georgia prove that.
How TF isn't the fight for voting rights over yet?
