Hi, while this is all great ideas, With a Speedy 300 Fibre Laser, I obviously need to pick some Different Materials, and while I finally got my first Vector Control figured out this week, and with multiple Passes, cut through Dollarama Foam Samples, with a Simple Box, and Circle, I have Found, or it seems, Dark Foams absorb more energy, and cut easier than white foams!
I am a Fan of Test Samples, but my most difficult challenge is Engraving Snap-On Torque Wrench Cases! Little to no contrast, has me pre Painting the Target Engraving Area, White, then Engraving Through to the Red, or Black Case! (Homemade 2 Layer Effect!)

Hi Robet, its the same concept for fiber for finding the settings you want. Foam is usually cut with CO2. Also for store-bought cases/plastics not every plastic will give you contrast on the engraving

I'm opening the .ai file with adobe reader and then sending it to the printer but it wont cut anything. Is it because adobe may alter the color/line thickness?

Hello, we recently bought a laser cut machine and cant figure out the perfect combo for our 3mm 3 layered wood for it to cut/engrave without leaving burn marks from bottom and top when engraving, any suggestions? Tried lots of combinations and nearly all produce same result leaving us with more work afterwards. Any help would be welcome!
