4:58 So I've had a theory about this for awhile and I believe this displays it perfectly. I'm certain the bots are coded to let them see enemy stickybombs in their path. You had a pile of stickys under Steel and another pair of crit stickys on the wall of the sewer just around the corner from the bots line of sight. I'd bet Steel's POV showed the bot turning that corner and pausing to shoot out the stickys, but then its programming told it there was more stickys just around the corner but the bot wouldn't be able to destroy them without being in range of the blast.
TL,DR: Bots are programmed to shoot out/ detect stickys and will target them to clear the immediate path, but if they can't get a clear shot on them without being in range of a manual detonation they will find a different route.
Basically in maps like 2fort or Dustbowl, demos can lock down paths to prevent bots from attacking
EDIT 3/6/22: Watching this video again I can confirm that the bot did indeed shoot out the stickys. The counter in the bottom right that tracks how many stickys you have out starts dropping once Steel mentions the bot.

My friend and i did something similar
My friend would be a cloak and dagger spy and watch my sticky trap while i wait in spawn. If a person walked into the trap he would tell me and i detonate it all the way from spawn. It only took the first kill to be called a hacker, it was glorious
i do a similar thing on 2fort with the intel, you place a bunch of stickys under the intel that arent crit, and so as soon as the intel gets picked up you can det and they die
@@_TheMushroomMan you know the tunnel in Upward? Between the first and second point. There's a health pack and ammo pack near a cliff, with stuff above it that you can stand on. It's low enough for you to not get spotted by the people above the tunnel but high enough for the people in the tunnel to not notice. I would hide stickies in the ammo pakcs and go to the hiding spot. Having played spy, i know that most gamers don't look up.

I actually feel bad for the guy trying to give Samwiz the second Aussieslav. Sam's is spec KS and has no strange part. The donor one had a nice pro kit (Emerald and Incinerator, which matches Sam's Scorching Tsarboosh) and three strange parts including Damage Dealt (which is $$$). Sam is not TF2 materialistic, which is commendable, but that was clearly an expensive and thoughtful gift.

Also fun fact, my computer doesn’t run very well, but I play TF2 and it works with the occasional lag spike. The only real problem I get is that people’s body parts sometimes extend across the map on my screen. Only on teammates too. I don’t know why it just happens and their Hitbox doesn’t move with the model.
