Go all the way Airbus. But remember not to repeat what Boeing did after being successful. I love Airbus as a developing aircraft manufacturer in every aspect. They produce fine products with safety and comfort in mind. Please keep your standards maintained at all times.
Yes, there is another very major reason. The LCCs like Spirit and Frontier are experiencing a reduction in demand, because the FFCs are fighting back with better deals. There's not really much price difference now, and FFCs offer better service.
I think it’s worth investigating a bit more as to what is going on exactly with the A321neo because it seems very odd for airlines to delay the delivery’s of new planes. But very good news about the A330-900
I think CATHAY PACIFIC ordering on AIRBUS A330neo is rather perfectly fit just like Garuda Indonesia, Citilink and Lion air that still have AIRBUS A330neo for Domestic route, International route and Umroh & Hajj route as I know.
TAP was the launch A330neo operator...just ask them if the cabin weird smell problem is solved. They ordered 19 but they would like to dispatch all ...
It’s because Cathay Pacific has returned back to growth stage so it needs a330neo to get discounts from airbus. Now if you see after COVID it may not order Boeing until it gets back to it’s pre pandemic levels.
Just to let you know rolls Royce has stopped all the Trent engines for planes because they are having problems with them and they are working on a completely new engines but that won’t be available until 2028/29 so the A330-900 and the 800 can’t be ordered with the rolls Royce engines they can only be ordered with Pratt @ Whitney or General Electric engines. So Cathay Pacific will have to change their order to other engines
You’re very welcome the air show at Farnborough was definitely worth watching especially seeing the new air India A350-900 and the virgin Atlantic A330-900 which was only delivered to the airline in June this year and the French company falcon brought the new falcon 600X private jet to show and that was something really worth watching the video
Rolls Royce has said that they were having problems with the Trent engines at the farnbrough air show so the Trent engines have been removed from options for the A350 and the A330-900/800 and the 787-1000

Agree with you!

That thumbnail though of reverse thrust in the air 💀
Cathay buys these aircraft for a 1:1 replacement of their aging A330-300 fleet. I.e. no "growth" yet (though possible later).
Good news is that they choose A330neo for replacement...

We are. There's going to be the newest episode to analyze!
I will look forward to seeing it
Boeing needs a 757 neo to compete
Curious about what they will do
