Ugh im SO jealous of all the women that got to be in that crowd! I'd LOVE to go an all female, concert, especially a babymetal one!!
That was incredible, with the women in the crowd giving the responses, gives a whole new dimension to what was already a fantastic song. Loved this, thank you.
ik moa made herself extra cuter that day for the girls iykyk
su is the one with the microphone, moa has a headset
@@GETBENT1331 i know, why are you telling me this
Lesbians!
What😭😭@@DavidRaideN
As a father of a wonderful daughter, seeing so many girls having so much fun and this show to themselves, brings out the moist eyes. 🤘🤘
I'm just going down that rabbit hole, but can you guys tell me why the hell they sound so much better in their live performances than the studio stuff???
Excellent musicians, excellent dancers, singers and shouters, plus an incredible high professional production. They all are pros.
They've been in the idol industry since they were very young. They've been training in vocals and dance since they were (approximately) 8-9yo. Babymetal at their core aren't musicians, but performers, so it's very important that their live performances are above and beyond. After all these years, they've completely mastered their art. Also, japanese concert etiquette is very different. The crowd has designated parts of the song which they consider it's ok to sing along to and sometimes they even know the choreo in some songs. In that way the audience becomes part of the performance.
this megitsune shit gets real. you gotta be ready to die for it. 💯💪🏾
How is that?
Ive just discovered BABYMETAL and I wish it was sooner, they are so amazing.
As someone with autism, seeing babymetal live as my first cony Is something I'll never forget.
I'm jealous! (Sorry this comment got long 😬)
I have autism as well. I've been to a lot of concerts but not Babymetal. Most were great: Bauhaus, NIN, Psychedelic Furs... and The Mountain Goats to name a few. TMG were the best, not just because they're one of my favorite bands, but because the crowd members were FRIENDLY- I've never enjoyed small talk, yet while waiting for the show to start people around me started chatting me up... they were LOVELY! All a little weird themselves, and so understanding about my own weirdness. One of them expressed worry about being crushed when the show began. Someone who'd been to their concerts before explained that the level or moshing/rowdy behavior we'd experience at a TMG show was someone bumping into us and apologizing for doing so... they weren't wrong. When the show began I was literally in the front row and I still had personal space! That's. Never. Happened. Before.
I know TMG aren't for everyone (my partner can't stand 'em). However, if you like them: DON'T hesitate to see them live. It's a fun night.
On a different note: I was in the the front/the pit for Nine Inch Nails and despite being crushed/shoved it was a GREAT experience. The crowd moved as one and it felt like being part of a single larger organism, I guess?
... until 25min in when a crowd surfer kicked me in the head 🤷🏻♀️. Then I just made my way out of the pit and watched from the back with a throbbing head yet still exhilarated. Wasn't until I left that I discovered a solid knot where I'd been kicked.
I've left a couple concerts because the crushing/shoving/attitude of the crowd was overwhelming and set off a panic attack... Portland hispters during the early 2000's were not a good audience to be in if you're trying to focus on the music and not be swallowed by the drunken people _literally_ falling into you and nearly taking you to the floor with them (especially when you're short and small like me).
*Ahem*
But I don't think I'd have any trouble at Babymetal. I also don't think I'll ever get to see them, but I'm genuinely happy YOU got to see them!!! That's an amazing first concert!💜💜💜
I never saw and will never see a girl who beautiful than Nakamoto chan:)
Well Moa's giving her a run for her money. But tbh, both of them are. Makes me wonder what Yui looks like now.
I was there it was amazing

I wish I was there😢❤❤❤❤
so they have 50% woman fans (in this concert) and 50% old dude metalhead(on another concert) to be their backup dancer and screamer
Yeah they had an all girls concert before when Yui was still in the group
it was the red mass (women) and the black mass (men)

Согласна
Музычка и ритм супер , а англосаксы вон их отсюда😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😊
Probably better not to know the lyrics, these words being written by middle aged men for little girls to sing is pretty gross.
wdym? the lyrics are actually pretty meaningful and it's about female empowerment

Cue Su singing about deep fried octopus
@@Jambobist lol
@@saod1459 When I found out the lyrics were about the strength of Women via their "ability to hide emotions" I thought that was so depressing... Then I realized I was looking at it from a completely Western perspective. After marrying into a Japanese family? I get it. It's a strength I'll never have, but I admire it now.
Just to be clear: I'm not a white gal who fetishizes all things Japanese. I've met those fetishists... Their way of thinking about _exotic people_ makes me shudder (as does the idea that people of Japanese ethnicity are exotic 🤢). The "othering" of that thought process is disturbing, to say the least.
