Wow this is incredible! Such beautiful art in this game! Feels NES-ish but somewhere between NES and SNES, can't quite explain it. I find it hilarious but pretty cool that the intro is literally the end of Megaman X4. Also DAMN those remixed X4 tunes are sick. I love how all the details are there, like the weapons and tanks. Loving how sinister Sigma is looking there at the start. Check out Maverick Hunter X: Giga Mission. I'm not sure where it is as far as development is though. The creator based it on the Xtreme series sprites.
Essa fangame está simplesmente absurda! A engine tem o melhor que cada Megaman, muito do x, um pouco do zero e um pouco do clássico. As cenas animadas estão absurdamente lindas, e eles fizeram um menu e conjunto de armas e armaduras só para o começo do jogo, para simular o x4, isso é um nível de capricho e detalhe que eu nunca tinha visto em algum jogo até hoje!

This is a welcome change! It's nice to see an execution of story that isn't quite so black and white (both story and gameplay-wise) as Capcom's canon releases. Great writing, what looks to be solid mechanics and game play, fantastic art and music styles- I really am looking forward to seeing this progress! literally the other day I was talking to someone about how I've never seen any Mega Man X Fangames that exist, and then just now I just casually stumble upon not just an X fan game, but one of the best looking Mega Man fan games I have ever seen.
Holy moly! I can say as a fellow programer, you put care and love into this! and it's amazingly done! I am actually impressed the most by how yo manage to adapt old bosses to your own boss battle system, and keep them as I remember them! truthly a masterpiece in the making!
The smaller size of the player character is nice. Gives more room for maneuverability and more things happening on the screen, like the original mega man games

Definitely getting a Mega Man Zero vibe here and I'm definitely digging it. I loved the design of Chilly Fox and I love how the boss had different phases tied to his health bar. I do have a few comments however: - The Aerial Dash upgrade seems OP. It seemed like you were able to do multiple air dashes at once without hitting the ground. I'm not sure if that is a bug or not but something to look into. - If you're going to save the "Maverick" here, I would suggest having the boss battle end with him having one life point to show that he's not destroyed but heavily damaged.
I have to say thank you for making this game and addressing a serious story concern I had for the X series regarding the Repliforce incident as how it seemed that outside of old M.Hunter commander retiring from guilt seemed there didn't seem to be any reprcussions on the Hunters side regarding the fallout. It was something that bothered me so much (among other story issues) that it makes it very difficult for me to go back to X4. Hopefully this game can act like a bridge between X4 and X5 and while I doubt it will move the needle storywise for me it will at least let my brain calm down
Man, it's really cool seeing MMX fan games like this and Corrupted in the works. Love the amount of detail and polish they have, too! And this one even makes references to DiVE! But my fave bit by far was the parody of that one MGS2 chat about VR training, heh. Anyway, looking forward to the completed game! 🙂
incredible,this fangame is incredible not just the art or the gameplay but the story,the interaction of X with other characters the fact that they modify human characters and locations where humans live like cities and villages,incredible excellent idea to use these as levels,so the story is told along with the gameplay,and show the consequences of events in past games, really incredible
At first, I didn't really like the mixture of 8 and 16 bit sprites (along with 8 and 16 bit era sound effects). But after watching for like 5 minutes, I realized the artwork and sound in this game is actually incredible. Keep up the good work

I'm gonna be honest I don't like the intro just being X4's ending for 7 minutes. I think it's fine to have an endgame-like level at the start but you can't make it difficult and having a 3-part boss is weird to start with even if you can't die. The rest looks great.
Agreed. Even though the graphics are awesome and the fight mechanics are recreated perfectly, I feel like the sequence could be condensed a little more, I'm just not sure how. Maybe if it somehow just immediately dropped you into the third part of the boss fight, then directly into the escape sequence. Guess we'll have to wait and see until it's finished
Loved the field effects during chilly fox fight. The light effect climbing the last mountain was my favorite. Oh and the platform giving way after the bird fight. This is the X I know. Exemplary work, would definitely sink hours into this 10/10

This game is being what megaman corrupted should be: a shine of hope. A true one. That we fans can appreciate and enjoy, watch the development, play it and have this wonderful nostalgia feeling of seeing the mechanics from previous official games. This game really made me smile. It was some time since I've felt the same feeling of playing megaman as when i was a child. Props to the creator and keep it up!

I'm gonna give a warning to those who are playing this game with a monitor that is above 60hz, you see for some reason the game's fps isn't capped, and because of that the bird mini boss in Chilly Fox's stage is pretty much unbeatable (the wind attack makes you get stuck on the far right/left of the screen), I was stuck on the boss for a while until I changed my 165hz monitor to 60hz, which then the wind attack behaved like it should. Hope this comment helps those who had the same issue as me!

Love how Dr. Light's sprite looks more closely to his sprite from the NES Megaman games, rather than his sprite from Megaman Xtreme, which I didn't like. Only niptick about this fangame is how the sounds are just the same as the SNES games rather than 8 bit renditions of them, that makes it feel like this game has some kind of identity crisis in which it doesn't know if it wants to be an NES or SNES game. And I know that this game doesn't aim totally for NES limit accuracy like Shovel Knight, but the latter at least has accurate 8 bit sounds. But apart from that, the game looks cool and sweet!

Also: there is a remix of the X3 Boss fight in Megaman X Legacy Collection; that I feel should be canon, & used as influence for every X3 Boss remix from here on out.
I like this a lot, the graphics felt nostalgic but ain't overselling the old and Ds vibe, music is rather nice, mechanics feel good as any other MegaMan game, and we can see X as a bit more humane. Well, in personality wise since he actually shown to have more grip and react to others dialogue more naturally instead of the usual war is happening yet again. The face he makes felt very alive too, as that's the deadpan reaction I'll made when someone talking in circle or simply making us worried 🤣

I'm gonna be honest I don't like the intro just being X4's ending for 7 minutes. I think it's fine to have an endgame-like level at the start but you can't make it difficult and having a 3-part boss is weird to start with even if you can't die.

Agreed. Even though the graphics are awesome and the fight mechanics are recreated perfectly, I feel like the sequence could be condensed a little more, I'm just not sure how. Maybe if it somehow just immediately dropped you into the third part of the boss fight, then directly into the escape sequence. Guess we'll have to wait and see until it's finished
Loved the field effects during chilly fox fight. The light effect climbing the last mountain was my favorite. Oh and the platform giving way after the bird fight. This is the X I know. Exemplary work, would definitely sink hours into this 10/10

This game is being what megaman corrupted should be: a shine of hope. A true one. That we fans can appreciate and enjoy, watch the development, play it and have this wonderful nostalgia feeling of seeing the mechanics from previous official games.
This game really made me smile. It was some time since I've felt the same feeling of playing megaman as when i was a child.

I'm gonna give a warning to those who are playing this game with a monitor that is above 60hz, you see for some reason the game's fps isn't capped, and because of that the bird mini boss in Chilly Fox's stage is pretty much unbeatable (the wind attack makes you get stuck on the far right/left of the screen), I was stuck on the boss for a while until I changed my 165hz monitor to 60hz, which then the wind attack behaved like it should. Hope this comment helps those who had the same issue as me!

Beating both bosses unlocks a third boss which you must first fight as Armorless X, and clearing it at all gives you the Fourth Armor!

Love how Dr. Light's sprite looks more closely to his sprite from the NES Megaman games, rather than his sprite from Megaman Xtreme, which I didn't like.
Only niptick about this fangame is how the sounds are just the same as the SNES games rather than 8 bit renditions of them, that makes it feel like this game has some kind of identity crisis in which it doesn't know if it wants to be an NES or SNES game. And I know that this game doesn't aim totally for NES limit accuracy like Shovel Knight, but the latter at least has accurate 8 bit sounds. But apart from that, the game looks cool and sweet!

Whoa combining the Force armors busters making the plasma shot the level 3 charge. Impressive. Im digging the cutscene artwork. Hmmmm that hunterbase layout is making me think this game will end with zero getting his body taken by omega.
Also: there is a remix of the X3 Boss fight in Megaman X Legacy Collection; that I feel should be canon, & used as influence for every X3 Boss remix from here on out.

The echo effect & atmosphere give me more of a Donkey Kong Country vibe.
I like this a lot, the graphics felt nostalgic but ain't overselling the old and Ds vibe, music is rather nice, mechanics feel good as any other MegaMan game, and we can see X as a bit more humane. Well, in personality wise since he actually shown to have more grip and react to others dialogue more naturally instead of the usual war is happening yet again.
The face he makes felt very alive too, as that's the deadpan reaction I'll made when someone talking in circle or simply making us worried 🤣
So the armor is basically the dash and tag mechanic from LAiX :o cool stuff

Va muy bien el juego me han sorprendido tus ideas de agregar mas personajes y has implementado lo de megaman xtreme como complemento esta bien que agregues algo que buscar en las áreas fue algo que no me gusto de megamanZX y aunque agregaron lo de las medallas en advent aun así se sentían muy vacías las áreas te felicito por tu esfuerzo se que no es fácil hacer todo esto, al menos lo que me gusta de capcom es que no borra los proyectos hechos por fans espero termines tu proyecto y capcom en algún momento lo reconozca animo!

Oh and then he tries to guilt X by saying he hopes X would understand. Well you're refusing to explain while causing harm. That's suspicious at the least buddy.
