The worst hate to your team always comes from the worst player on your team. That's just how the player base is in unite. You'll always expect a "THANKS" from your lane Cinderace when they get KO'd ONCE. (P.S they ran into the enemy team)
Absolutely this. Warning, rant incoming since I'm so tired of these types of dumbasses being a massive reason why this playerbase is hopeless... Though it's mostly the game's fault for enabling bad players!
To a lot of players, ESPECIALLY bad ones, it's always the "bad" allies, broken enemy mons, Rayquaza flips, etc. that supposedly make them lose 50% or more matches... nothing to do with the fact they don't have the skill to influence most of their matches, of course! Decent players making SOME impact in most of their matches is just a coincidence why they do better. Maybe they're just lucky, duh?!
The truly shitty players never communicate anything useful, instead preferring to spam "Check it out!", "Thanks!" or my favourite, 15-35yo guys throwing tantrums on VC. Some are so damn hopeless that after hundreds or thousands of matches, they still use their Unite moves at 2:30, backcap, equip Special Attack items on Greninja/Zeraora/Cinderace and will give up an entire match over the tiniest setback...
Another type I loathe are the people that think they're "pretty good at the game" because they don't backcap, they parrot Unite DB builds, memorised some basic plays of meta characters they actually don't understand but spam like a 12yo spams Down+B with Kirby in Smash and show up to all objectives (if u don't show up to all objectives, ur throwing!!11!1!) Like bro, that's the bare minimum! You still won't get wins handed to you in solo queue with just that alone, after you reach a certain threshold. If things don't go according to their checklist, they snap harder and quicker than just any old shit player.
Yup, definitely totes NOT the lowest common denominator for their countless losses ruining the fun of Unite for better players (that they no doubt delusionally think they are).

Happened to me today with a lane Talonflame. I was Cinderace. He kept pinging retreat whenever I’d try to get close to the enemy goal. He gets ko/ed and starts pinging thanks.
Its funny how they are fast to trigger the thanks bottons, but any other move or bottom they suck at triggering

Is a bit of a relief seeing I'm not alone on this feeling of "what can I do?, another game lost, I feel I just can't win" sometimes the matchmaking sends me to such lose streaks especially at the beguining of seasons that I doubt if I'm a good player myself, even tho I got a 59% WR on all seasons since season 1.

There was a moment where my Mewtwo Y player was doing so bad that my Ttar teammate really became mad at him for going melee against a Dragon Pulse Goodra. I was playing Damage Scald Slowbro with Guard because I had enough of my terrible teammates and actually, I held against a Tyranitar decently well and even tanked so much from 3 enemies that my teammates took Ray before they could even respond to that. I did 101K damage with it. What I am saying is that, there are moments where I could've won but my team's stupid decision costed me the game. I wasn't playing around with my Slowbro. I take anyone who deems a threat. That Ttar was happy because I did a lot to help.

I mean sometimes you have to let them know lol. If I was angry enough I'd yell at them before the game that our comp sucked😂 (tip, stop auto picking a supporter or attacker in ranked. For God's sake all rounders and EX mons exist)
That mime played better than the ttar player... immagine playing ttar and doing 14% damage the most busted pokemon in the game...
Given that Mr Mime grief’d Ttar in the early game I wouldn’t blame Ttar for not snowballing. That Mime was literally on the other team with stunting Ttar and throwing unite at 2:35.

The fact a team lose a game isnt something that depend only on a single member of a team but on multiple situation and players moves. This game is so team depended that even a single bad player could lose you the game but having more than one bad member make it even more impossible to win unless this issue happen to the other team as well.
My point being having ttar and doing 45k damage isnt good considering is by far the best pokemon in the ladder.
Having someone that throw a game is so common in this game man.
I rather having bot in my team than an actual player sometimes... i got a bot in my team against 5 players and won (i didnt even know was possible this)... bots move so much better than some of your allies that isnt even a joke.
@raizen4597 45k damage... man gimme that damage for my teammates.. I get too many 10k and 20k attackers or allrounders
IN ADDITION.. I just got a TTAR player who uses the SPECIAL ATTACK stacking glasses with 30k damage so as I said before.. I would take this TTAR over all the trash I get in this game
Lol ttar is far far from the most busted Pokémon in the game but it is sad he got 14% of damage
