Smashing review Rahul! As an owner I would like to add a few points: 1. That bitch of a ground clearance, it's painful to ride in our streets. 2. You really can't ride with your sweetie anywhere longer, that seat is only meant for supermodels, well, unless your sweetie is one, you can. Plus the ground clearance suffers more with a pillion 3. The construction of the rear seat is such that it's difficult to carry large bags, the bags eventually slides down, one needs Z900 specific bags for hassle free travel, means firanngg brands like SW Motech, GIVI, Hepco Becker, which costs much more. 4. Kawasaki specifies RON95 and above, well in Bangalore we do get them, but not out in the highway. We don't really know the effects of using lesser rated petrol, I know guys who have done 40k in a mix of majority Ron 91 with no issues. 5. As you rightly said, the suspension is slightly unsettling at rough roads, but not enough to bother about. 6. It's lot more expensive to make the Z900 sound like an inline 4 should. Just a slip-on will not make any difference (unlike the z800), it's because of the way the catcon is constructed. You need a full system plus a power commander, so we are looking between 1 to 1.5 lakhs. On the positive side: 1. The engine is beyond amazing. The power delivery, the intake howl, is just fantastic. This thoroughly overcomes all the negatives. 2. The flickability of the motorcycle, I sometimes forget that I am riding a 125 bhp motorcycle.
Very useful and I feel great getting comments like this, pinning your comment so that others can read. We have ordered some saddlebags from abroad lets see if they fit.
Over the years, I see the effort you put in your videos, you really do a great job. Keep sharing, keep educating, keep warning. Your enthusiasm is infectious. Ride slow, ride long, ride safe. Wish you all glory, Surajit
hi iam planing to buy a bike i have 2 option in mind either z900 new or used ducati monster 821 please help me to select the bike ..iam more of a city rider
This is such an excellent review. I appreciate how clearly you articulated the features and ride experience of this bike. You've helped me make an informed decision. 👍🏽
I have z900 great bike so far :) could do with a few extra seconds per gear my only downside! And the seat comfort isn’t great! But overall good value and price, has smooth power delivery and great for longer distance I’m from the uk! :) great video and edit!!:)
I was planning to buy a kawasaki z900.seeing ur review.i booked it. Thanks for d review. I got sure that m buying the right bike.i already own the honda cbr 1000rr.. my second bike. Awesome review. Ride safe..
Great review.. I am also interested in the saddlebag / pannier that you are going to use for the Z900, as I intend to get one (saddles) for myself too..
Honestly my heart may go to this one, I am struggling between this and the MT/FZ-09 but I don't really want to get too scared of the amount of torque on the latter since I am a beginner. The suspensions seems way better, not as light weight but better quality of construction overall and I don't really bother about electronics or riding modes (doesn't seem like "real" electronics on the FZ-09, pretty sure it just makes the throttle response smoother). I may not like the dual sport-ish riding position on the FZ-09. I have to try both but looks like they made a huge improvement over the bulky Z800.
I own a non abs model. It will lock the tires up right now. I’m 230lbs front forks to soft. But overall for money it’s a nice bike. I’m going to swap fork springs and fluid. Air filter and full exhaust and just enjoy it. It’s slower than my 01 r1 I had but I can actually enjoy my ride on this bike. It’s comfortable and has power. I put a bigger wind screen on that made a difference. Other than above I’m going to put better tires on. Thanks for video God Bless buddy
+Ride With Rahul ....I know, just making a joke. I own a z900. Love it, great bike, easy to ride and it performs to what 95% of most riders can use. Good review.
I think this is by far the best and most beautiful review of Z900 that I have seen. I am contemplating upgrading from Z650 to Z900 and wondering how much better the ride quality is in Z900. Any thoughts ?
As I never could get Kawasaki to give me the z650 can't compare the two. But being a naked with a relaxed suspension should be more comfortable than the semi sportbike stance of the z650. (Thanks to non cooperative attitude of local dealers I have stopped reviewing bikes)
Hey buddy awesome review, I have ridden z900 for about 500 km & each & every thing you have mentioned is on point. But I would recommend you to try the clutch lever of versys300 if you think z900 has the best clutch feel, I am sure you are going to enjoy that.
I happily own this beazt... She is fantabulous... Riding it daily for 50kms and on weekend I go for a 400+ kms... Never felt tiredness or vulnerable... Power delivery is enormous... Braking is the best part in this machine, holds u like a hell out of anywhere... But the rear tyre isn’t grippy one... The pleasure continues... Safe motoring to fellow riders Take care, Gud and clear review mate...
Which bike handles better and is more fun...the Ducati 797 or the Z900? Also Which would be better for a track day now and then? Not really any long touring or off road.
I would recommend the street triple S if you are looking to take the naked bike to track. Also if you can afford the Street triple RS, that is best naked bike for trackdays.
I met new guys and checked out their bikes and notice their chain was so loose and would go up and down like a yoyo I would tell them your chain could jump sprocket and even lock up your tire so remember to check the slack in your chain 1/4 in. Up and down is fine for me plus I use a 90° gear oil on my chain seems to work perfect remember never use greese because it will not pentrate the rollers on chain make Shure you learn how to tighten your chain on both sides of your tire 🧝⚡🌴
Wish all superbikes for India came with atleast 150 mm of ground clearance. If I get this bike near my house, it will bottom out for sure. Such a shame😒😓
Great review. I ride a ninja 400 due to A2 restriction. great beginner bike my Ninja. Would love to get a z900 but I do not know whether my kriega US30 motorbag wil fit on the rear seat.
I'm confused between Suzuki GSX 750 and Kawasaki Z900 I mean Z900 has more power more fun but Suzuki has traction control which is must on our roads which would be better and which feels lighter to ride Z900 is 210kgs Suzuki 213 kgs. Please can you compare these two.
Rahul, I am looking for my first super bike. I am 5 ft 4 Please advise z900 or Street Triple RS. I am 40yrs young from Delhi and putting all my hard earned money in this. Please give your best advise.
Please make review video on Ninja 1000 because I'm planning to buy one and confused between Z900 and Ninja 1000 and I have budget around 10 lakhs to 12 and half please suggest me what should i buy it's gonna be my first superbike..
I reviewed this because my friend bought it, Even after making such high quality videos local dealers don't want to share bikes, maybe if you buy it I can make a collab with you and review that bike.
Rahul U can contact some dealers in Bengaluru...usually they give bikes to ppl with 50k subscribers for review.......if they agree come down to Bengaluru and review.....
For reviews in India.. Ride with Rahul is the best. Really cool guy who knows his stuff when it comes to motorcycles. Plus he actually rides the bikes he reviews.. something uncommon on youtube these days.
Just a headsup, you will end with a broken engine, sooner than you might think. Usually, OEM does recommend (on every bike) not to heat up that pretty engine over 4000 rpm for the first 1000 km, otherwise you are damaging the insides of the steel cast engine and the usual "explosion"-chamber and its causality won't be effective anymore. So be careful!
Tengoku NET Hey man, I would recommend checking out some videos on "hard break in" for your engine. When done right most mechanics agree it's better then babying your engine.
Follow whatever the manufacturer says. They engineered it and I doubt they have any reason to want their engines to break in badly. No mechanic has the intake of those specific valuable information what the OEM gets about its own product to assure you "hard engine break in" should be "healthy".
I've owned MANY bikes over the years. No difference in "Hard break in" or the manufacturer recommended break in. As long as you maintain the bike and don't just STAB it, you're not going to hurt it. As long as you vary the engine speed (because keeping at the same RPM during break in isn't good either), roll it on and decelerate gently, it's all good. Dumping the oil and replacing with the OEM oil at about 100mi is also going to be key. No matter what, you're going to end up with junk in the oil in the first 100. Get it out.
Can u please tell me if it gets a bad wind blast I have a dominar and it has wind blast bcoz of the aerodynamics n its a naked bike..I have to know it..plz help..about the wind blast afte 230
I have braked on non ABS old supeebikes many times on higher speeds, since I am still alive you can understand that I had stopped every single time. I am 35 years old now, I don't ride anymore. But I have ridden seriously since age 24.

hi iam planing to buy a bike i have 2 option in mind either z900 new or used ducati monster 821 please help me to select the bike ..iam more of a city rider
favuureeet go for kawasaki, ducati spare parts are very hard to get and service also very expensive and most important it's a plastic motorcycle
thankyou bro yes iam up for z900
This is such an excellent review. I appreciate how clearly you articulated the features and ride experience of this bike. You've helped me make an informed decision. 👍🏽

Your 300kms road test reviews are just awesome.😍😘
I am 5’3” and touch no problem. Finally a bike with power that I can ride comfortably. Just picked it up yesterday!
Enjoy your new motorcycle, congratulations.
I'm 6feet4 and still easily sit on this bike ;) (one of the bikes I could actually ride normally without getting craps or wrist ache) Nice review!
yes, it's the most comfortable motorcycle in that category of naked bikes.
Yeah, it weighs less than the z800 and z1000, but doesn't look as good. Still sharp looking, just not as nice as the other two in my opinion.
thank you for your review, because of generally good feedbacks, i got one
I was planning to buy a kawasaki z900.seeing ur review.i booked it. Thanks for d review. I got sure that m buying the right bike.i already own the honda cbr 1000rr.. my second bike. Awesome review. Ride safe..
Thanks bro, do send me a pic on my Insta after you get it: @ridewithrahul
Good review. I have a FZ-09 and love it.
Many thanks! Are FZ-09 and MT-09 the same bike?
It is, the newer MT09 is eye catchingly good.
i'm currently in the market for this type of bike (this one along with the other similar bikes produced by the other bike companies). great review!!
Many thanks, hope you subscribe and support the channel.
Great review very informative. Will definitely look out for the video with the screen fitted.
Great Comprehensive Review. Well Done 👍

Non ABS sounds a bit scary. US laws dont make it mandatory like Eu or India but they should voluntarily do it.
I didn’t want it. I didn’t want any of the electronic stuff. Abs or traction or shift stuff so on. I’m happy
awesome review dude!
Haha, "almost hit a bird oh my God", he says but makes no mention of the person crossing the road a few seconds earlier.
The person wasn't going to collide into me, he was out of my path.

Waiting on the GSX s 750, which is coming in as CKD and with a nice electronic package, will be good competition with this bike if priced well.
Should I buy gsx s-750 or Z900?????
Nice review...the GC maybe an issue though with stock exhaust..
the exploding into red fade out effect is shocking :O
Wow great.... Really appreciate your work

Ride With Rahul Thank you.
Please mention the on road price of z900 and yearly maintenance expenses.
Thats the best review i'v ever seen 😍😍😍 thanks

Should i go for z650 or z900
They are not in the same segment. The z650 is a great value for money at its pricepoint but at z900 level there are better bikes with better features.
Dude is it a sportbike like can it run like a sportbike and is it a superbike and can it beat ktm? Ktm any model like duke 390 or else plz help me plz
damn your videos are good...and informative...+1 subscriber
Thankd
Good review! Lack of electronics considering nowadays standards..electronics bring security, considering traction control.
I think the Street Triple S is better in that way. Or the new Ducati Monster 821
Rahul, excellent review as usual. Could you please review the honda 650f 2018 ? I am planning to buy that . Please review
I reviewed this because my friend bought it, Even after making such high quality videos local dealers don't want to share bikes, maybe if you buy it I can make a collab with you and review that bike.

Nice to hear from you after so many months, how are you doing?
Nice testing of the brakes 100 to 0👍👍👍
Is this thing too powerful for a beginner ?
Yes

Keu bike dicche na, ami nijei wait korchi, Kichu korar nei.. kharap lagche. But useless city.
Well done sir
Doing good review
As short Great review
Does it has quick shifter bro??
No
So why specifically do you like the Street Triple S? What does it do better?
Better handling, better braking performance, lighter by around 20 kg. Basic electronics package like traction control and ride by wire.
Thanks. Did you like the Street Triple 675R also? If so was the throttle response smooth or too sensitive or jerky on off?
Z900 feels like a big bike but triumph doesn't its size is small
Did no one else notice he forgot to turn off indicator after U-turn at 14:00?
Why there is only one light working at 3:59
whats your height Rahul? i'm 6.1 wondering if this bike will be short for me :P
5-8
Good video bro..😀
thanks!
Not sure you would have stopped " if it was not for the ABS 🤸🤣
I have braked on non ABS old supeebikes many times on higher speeds, since I am still alive you can understand that I had stopped every single time. I am 35 years old now, I don't ride anymore. But I have ridden seriously since age 24.
Good review 👌👍
Thanks
What mileage did u get?
The way we were riding isn't mileage friendly but official figures are 15.3 km/l.
can you review the suzuki gsx750 s...
I am trying to get the bike bro, most brands dont share the bikes, this bike i reviewed belongs to my friend.
I want to buy a bike which one is better for me Triumph Street Triple RS or Kawasaki Z900 or Ducati Monster 821
My fav. Is the street Triple RS, followed by the 821.
Why the hell are the road blocks there, it makes it even more crazy, as if Indian roads are not crazy enough....
Gr8 bike indeed
good review
