I live in Colombia (Cali), which I've ridden extensively on various bikes. I've also ridden through over 40 other countries, and let me tell you: COLOMBIA IS THE BEST!
These guys have a great attitude. Excellent video.
I'd like to see some real camping from you guys too. Nice gesture with the soccer balls.🏍
Im doing this right now with a backpack and an yamaha XTZ 125. You guys really rode in luxury!
Luggage strap wrapped around the wheel? “I’ll do what any red blooded American male would do....PABLO!?!?”
Love it! Keep em coming Sterling!
Glad you caught that! Evan is a really fun guy to travel with!
Some great travel advice on these episodes. Indeed, the average speed and daily itinerary can really impact rate of progress. Cannot forget time of year as well.
Great episode. Cannot wait for the next one. Thanks Sterling. You're my new therapist. 😇
Another great video. Thanks Sterling. Looking forward to the next one.
Wow great job catching all the action Sterling !!
Excellent, thanks!
Yes! You are the man. 👊
Very enjoyable! Just the right length.
Another great one👍
Let’s see the camping too, great so far
I have really enjoyed your solo series as that is how I prefer to ride. I sure there are a few positives with a large group but not something that I find appealing. I will watch the rest of the series as there is always something to learn.
you all prolly dont care at all but does someone know of a way to get back into an Instagram account?
I stupidly lost the login password. I would love any help you can give me
@Grady Timothy instablaster =)
@Cooper Ty Thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm.
Seems to take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
@Cooper Ty it worked and I actually got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thanks so much you saved my account!
@Grady Timothy Happy to help xD
Great episode.
GREAT SERIES!
This is wonderfull..so nice..Big thanks from the Viking Biker from Danmark🇩🇰
I made the same trip in 2016. I gave hard candy to the kids and fed the stray dogs.
Great! I am keping close attention to the group mood.... I have a feeling there might be some disagreements and noice along the way, makes it even more exciting to follow.
I have taken long distance buses in Columbia, have never been more scared in my life - I really hope nothing happens to the riders!
But why are the episodes so short? Please give us MORE, Sterling! :-)
You can buy the movie, like Sterling said...but I’m enjoying the delayed gratification of this serialization myself.
I have a question for you Sterling; did the responsibility of filming the journey take any of the pleasure out of it for you?
10:27 the moment he won me over
0:38 is hilarious!! Proof that men aren’t quick to relinquish their manhood at ANY age. Classic!!
Enjoyed episode 1. Episode 2 was a GS infomercial.
Really enjoying this series, I now just wonder how many kids at the roadside expect footballs from passing motorbikes in the years gone by..... Hard to judge that between doing a nice thing and creating an expectation. Anyways would love to take part in something like this, my first big trip coming whenever this UK lockdown ends probably in 2029
Maybe it´s just early morning for me, but just realized that Expedition 65 looks a lot like Expedition GS....... Think I´ll go back to sleep now.ZZZzzzz
love your work Sterling but so far it seems all about bmw?????
Like I mention in the first video everyone could bring whatever bike they wanted but for many reasons they all chose to bring their BMWs which would help with any issues along the way in terms of carrying spare parts, working on bikes, etc.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
I bet there were so many places and people you dident want to leave
Not much point in camping. Colombia has decent and cheap accommodation, often with on-site parking.
Enjoying the series, looking forward to the rest. I have a question for you. Are all the GS using standard BMW ESA suspension units or are many using other after market makes?
Good question. I don't recall exactly if anyone had an aftermarket suspension, but I do know that we had at least one original go bad which you will see in an upcoming episode.
I'd love to get Sterlings candid thoughts on these old ego maniacs.
I’ll watch this whole series but I find these guys to be wholly unlikable in general. They’re like clones, how are they all wearing Klim and driving bmw? Do they not have a single differing taste? And the chef, really? These guys are all clearly wealthy and it shows, in a bad way imho
Amazing how the locals with a quarter of the bike these guys are riding do same terrain without a chase vehicle.
“We’re going to be rock stars here“ how arrogant....
You guys are bringing the wrong tools for the job. The big GS are wearing all of you out. Ride a 690 next time. No fun with giant bikes.
