I see the video is years old and you probably know by now, but streamlight makes a hub that can hold up to eight 18650 batteries. I’ve been using mine for a while in my patrol car and I very much enjoy it.
I bought this flashlight 2.5 years ago,I work nightshift in a rural area so I'm outside 12 hours a day,never had a issue with the light,the paint is about wore off,you can trust the pocket clip and lens had no scratches,well I lost it,doing research on new lights,going to buy it again
If you're still alive: Tincture of chaga, garlic, vitamin c, innerbark (cinnamon), ground up pumpkin seeds and moonshine. I f@cking double k1lled what ever filthy parasite I had from drinking unclean pond water. Starve yourself the first two days, drinking only this mess on empty tummy. You will get sick, but then you will heal afterwards. Drink this tincture every morning and before you go to bed. Increased my sleeping hours by double! Really happy about that. Also, all my organs, everything feels fine now, just One weeks later. I know its still there, probably, so i will keep doing this treatment for at least a year. My infection started a year ago, so i have to be extra cautious and persistant. So far so good.
Here is a comment for anyone interested. I recently bought the HLX about a month ago. Seems to be a fairly solid light. I did have a issue where I dropped the light directly on its tail cap drom about a height of about 4 to 5 ft. It completely knocked the light out. No power. Nothing. Of course I inspected the light and noticed that the tail cap wire seemed off or angled. I used some pliers to gentle pull them out straight again. And everything seems normal. Ill try to remember to do an update to this comment in the next few weeks to see if that fixes the issue.
@@stephen_crumley I never did contact the warranty department. I was able to get the light back up, and having been using it almost everyday. I have a theory as to what happened, when I was using the hlx, I was using cr123s at first. But I noticed that the batteries inside shake a lot. I think they may have messed with the tail cap wire a bit and bent it off center. I used a plier to gentle stretch out the tail cap wire, and now Im using a reachargeble 18650 battery. The rechargeable battery is a tighter fit and has no internal shaking. I also have a streamlight 2l as my backup light, and that takes cr123s just fine with no battery vibrations. The hlx works with cr123 batteries, but maybe its not the best choice for the light. Maybe using the rechargeable battery is better? So far Ive had no new issues with the light, and Ive bumped it a few more times. I hope this post helps.

You can charge batteries with USB ports into standard cradle chargers.
