Hello! Thank you so much for your message, and I'm glad you like my project. For the coffee table, oak are excellent choices, as they are strong and durable for long-term use. If you prefer a more natural look, oil is a great option since it preserves the wood's texture and feel. Varnish offers stronger protection and is ideal for surfaces that require extra durability. As for not having the "Domino" system, You can directly use wood glue to join the boards and add 2-3 wooden strips on the back, securing them with screws or mortise-and-tenon joints.
