Go to belitung islands, u can explore our beaches, our unesco global geopark. and dont worry about roads its better than most of indonesian provinces have.

@@ayngelina its actually 30 Minutes flight from jakarta, theres bunch of nice hotel, also u can explore hundreds of islands near the main islands, nice cafe, fast internet and no traffic.
Oh wow, this could be a great place to visit. Are there budget hotels here? I'm used to paying under 300 IDR a night

No one has ever served it to me which makes me suspicious
@@ayngelina So I did a bit of research, and yes, it is edible. Said to be a bit fibrous and sour, so often cooked instead of eaten fresh. As far as having it served to you, there are SO many fruits out there that rarely make it into markets, especially in that area of the world, where fruit is so abundant. Lesser known, or commercially non-viable species often just get overlooked or ignored.
Think about pawpaws in north america- perfectly wonderful fruit that grows native, has varieties bred for flavor and size, and yet no one has ever heard of it. Why? Because it spoils in a few days so isn't viable for commerce. So many things like this in the world.

The pineapple like fruit belongs to the Pandanus plant. Looks like you're enjoying the warmth of the tropics rather than the cold back home!
