Hi Love your tuition. Can you suggest a small portable amp suitable for playing folk hasrmonica? I play in pub folk sessions in the UK and need just a little bit more volume to be heard. Many thanks Pete
@@peteban The Blackstar Fly3 is nice and clean and quite warm and reproduces harmonica tone quite well for a small amp. It's small and sits easy on a table, and you can attach an extension speaker. If you want something with more wattage, maybe some kind of battery powered Yamaha, say one of the battery-powered amps from the THR series. A larger amp I recommend that would sit under the table is the Laney Alfresco (with the single speaker). It's a two channel amp and may be more than you need but a nice acoustic amp.
Hey Nick perhaps you can help me with this. You say the first tune is in 1st position, C harp. So I look at a C harmonica postion chart and the "C" notes are 1 blow, 4 blow, 7 blow and 10 blow yet you dont use any of these notes. I don't get how your playing in 1st? The positions have always been a mystery to me, Thanks
