I love that you ask let things come up naturally, and when you ask a question, you let the guest/artist/person(whatever) actually answer the question without interrupting them like sooooo many interviewers do on here. enjoy this.!!!!

Great interview, Tank! I can understand his struggle when he was with EC. Yeah, creative differences will always be the source of tension between the parties involved. Glad he made it on his own, but man, in a way he reminds me of me when I decided to leave a company I've had been working with for 5 years to work with a new company...and then covid happens lol. So, I guess the nickname Sushi was just a gimmick back when he was with EC, he goes by his real name now? I see lots still call him Sushi. Wonder how he feels about that...
I hope this project is really successful. Seems like an awesome dude and the music bangs. Bring Me the Horizon needs to take him on tour in the states.
I'm very late to the party, but I've lately been binge watching your videos, and after watching your reaction to Supernova, I came here. I only really "got to know" Eskimo Callboy when Sebastian was already gone, but from everything I've seen and heard now, it was the best thing for both parties that he left. That sounds rude, but I don't mean it like that at all. Sebastian seems like a great guy, down to earth, and with an amazing creative vision. So are EC. But, as Sebastian said in interviews, those vision just didn't match anymore. And whenever that happens, I'm happy when (former) band members decide that none of them should restrict themselves for the other's sake. I absolutely love the "new" EC sound, but I couldn't imagine it with Sebastian in it. On the other hand, the Ghostkid sound isn't something I could match to EC nowadays. When I first listened to Supernova, I actually felt like crying. Something in the harsh difference between the screams and the clean vocals just hit me good. Sebastian has an incredibly beautiful voice, and I think I could get into his new music easily. Also, I find the contrast between this intense and somewhat creepy "Ghostkid" and this laid back and nice Sebastian fascinating. I love it, man. Thank you (once again, very late) for this great interview!

Well, that seems soooo relatable ^^' I always relate to myself as a chaotic creative - seems other creatives would, too :) I actually never listened to any Eskimo Cowboy even though I'm a German metal/punk/rock chick (don't judge, I don't really have much of a metal peer group, I often just stumble across bands by accidents, by UA-cam algorithm (well, thanks to HSB, "Supernova" probably only got pushed onto my notifications because of them ;) ) or because I like cover artworks and listen in on albums at record stores ^^'), but I feel like THAT record will definitely make it into my playlist 🥰
I am so mad at myself for not seeing this until now. I love sushi and his new tunes outside of EC. No hate but damn, nico made Eskimo Callboy his band after that live stream they did last year. Seb looks so healthy now though, i was a tad worried about him near his EC end. happy he is doing good :)

Great Intervew, Sebastian, do a song with Elli Berlin in german. That would be awsome. That would be epic. And Tank, react to her, the band is NULL POSITIV there are softer songs like "Independenz" or hard, like "Friss dich auf". Greetings from germany , oh and Elli sings in german. That would be so great, Sebastian and Elli, they both do the beautiful cleans and awsome screams.
