Recording, Mixing and mastering is super key as a producer especially helps building relationships with the artists you’re working with! It’s one of the best ways to provide value!
Please make a separate video explaining signing to a publishing company to get your royalties and co publishing if you haven’t already, saved this video for later because I feel I will need to re watch this in the next coming months
#7, Robo & OD (Traxside) allowed me to master vocals first before beats - love recording, mixing and mastering always - taught me how to think from the artist perspective to make the best music Legend based
At least you have the opportunity to learn things in your native language, I think. English is my second language, and I struggle to understand many technical terms, so learning something becomes twice as hard for me. I can’t even research something unless I’ve seen a video about it or heard of it before. It feels like this knowledge is hidden like a secret (copyrights, collecting royalties, licenses, etc.)-almost no one talks about it. In my country, there’s no information on these topics even there isn’t a community..
Tunecore/distrokid have a split option when uplaoding the song. Assuming the artist added you to the split, tunecore and distrokid will send u the money through their website. I use distro kid so im not 100% how tunecores bank is set up but in distrokid i just log in and cash out what ive made to my personal bank account
man that first tip is so real! Nobody is gonna do the work for you! You gotta grind and keep grinding, shit do NOT stop
