I've watched lots of case studies on South Korea's cultural success story by Indian UA-camrs but this one was by far the most detailed, deep and best assessment. The approach was positive and non-judgmental. Ofcourse all countries have a positive and negative side just like ours but I liked how you approached the topic with a learning attitude.

I'm a Korean. First of all, I think it is very wrong for some clubs and restaurants in Korea to ban Indians and Pakistanis from entering. However, they later retracted their policy. Of course, there are racist Koreans, but there are also many Koreans who criticize this and do not. Thinking that all Koreans are racist based on a few examples only spreads further hatred. As a Korean, it is a quite interesting experience to watch this topic on youtube. Most of the information is accurate and i have even learned something new myself. There are a few things I think should have been included:
Firstly, it would be better to mention Seotaji and boys, a game changer in the korean pop music scene, instead of HOT.

I learned this from the case study of South Korea:
1. Censorship shouldn't be used as a weapon to suppress the opposition but rather used as a tool to increase quality of media.
2. There are very less countries where people can openly criticize and address the problems in the government, having independent media enhances the spirit of a democracy.
3. Every politician has to choose between greed and development. Those who choose greed are forgotten but, revolutionaries are immortal.
Our country is one of the few countries where we can openly criticize our government (except the terrorist organisation in the name of government)

@@shivamarya5225 Both City Hunter & Boys over flowers are originally Japanese mangas. Boys over flowers was the only one that got more popularity through it's Kdrama remake (thanks to Lee Minho) but the original Japanese anime City Hunter got pretty famous in US, to the point that it's Hollywood remake was made which is famous even in India (thanks to Jackie Chan, man's films always hit Indian audiences). Tho I still prefer animes over Kdramas, I agree Kdramas do have wide range of varieties in them
People prefer kdramas because they have 16-20 ep. Not like a long running Indian serial. Villian can do whatever he wants and still can't expose. Every problem is faced by the heroine herself. Within one second her family didn't trust her and forget everything good things done by her. So much stupidity and drama. Currently Indian shows high level stupidity and black magic,nagin tyoe drama.

Hey dhruv rathee . I am a student and want you to tell about Kota . I was a student there. Coaching center along with hostel promise a lot of things but none of them are true . Many students go their . Most of them get health issues and return back to their place feeling guilty. Even some people suicide as they get fed of studies. Only some people are able to study and even it is not guaranteed of their selection in Neet or jee.There are many negatives about kota . All of them I cannot mention here . Even I was trapped in their promises but I realised buisness strategy when my health issues started. It was too serious that even life would have been gone. I was 2 months in hospital and they didn't even call me . Even they were not accepting to change for online without any more money. It was father who told the DCP and he helped me out. There are many students and parents who are willing to go to kota or to send their children to kota. Please make next case study on the place kota

They became so popular in asian countries in 90's and 2000's and now they are the most powerful cultural idols in the entire world with BTS and popular movies and series. Personally I'm a huge fan of korean movies and series. They are kings in making romantic and thriller movies and series. Squid game, Parasite, Train to busan, All of us are dead series are some popular examples. And for romantic movies and series i don't think anyone needs explanation of how popular they are.

Last but not the least, Bollywood movies are taking India to the world. Whether we like it or not, Bollywood is the biggest doorway for a foreigner into the Indian cultural realm. The only problem is that our filmmakers must understand their responsibility and make films sensibly.
Agreed, instead of making ridiculous movies like Animal Bollywood should make real life problems movies, and logical actions if you want to make fiction movie with excellent stories that can literally impress people. Media plays a vital role and film makers should understand their responsibilities that they can really make a change better than the govt.

I noticed this a long time ago, korean movie was silently taking over international people by its romantic/heart breaking movies since early 2000. Backing up with amazing horror movies too.
