Loved the video. Is it then correct to say that with multilevel data it would be multilevel mixed-effects linear regression vs. multilevel path analysis?
Great video! Very informative. I read that path analysis can be multilevel. What's the difference between multilevel path modelling and conventional multilevel modelling?
Multilevel path analysis can have multiple outcome (dependent) variables (and multiple mediators) at multiple levels. Conventional multilevel modeling is typically restricted to a single Level-1 outcome (dependent) variable. Best, Christian Geiser
A very informative video, however to which type of data it can be applied? Is it can be done using panel data (multipe period and firms), if can which software or model able to perform it? Or do you have a video about panel data using path analysis or SEM
Path analysis can be applied to both cross-sectional and longitudinal (panel) data using programs for SEM such as Mplus, lavaan, JASP, AMOS, EQS, etc. I do have videos on how to conduct path analysis in Mplus on this channel: * Playlist regression, path, & mediation analysis in Mplus: ua-cam.com/play/PL-kVjeOVYChoITu0jPeUznVLvJQs0aE4x.html * Playlist mediation analysis in Mplus: ua-cam.com/play/PL-kVjeOVYChqDbmDCLn4DFNEyPu6y_BID.html Here's a video on longitudinal path analysis in Mplus: ua-cam.com/video/73TAsiERHkY/v-deo.html Best, Christian Geiser
