So what I would encourage everyone to do when looking at their preps is to determine how many actual meal you can make with your preps. For example looking at just the meat in this pantry I counted 154 meals and that was figuring using the bigger cans for two meals. I found when I went through my pantries and figured meals it first gave me list of stuff I was lacking and second it was a great way to make a list of meals that I could plan to make with my preps.
You have a GREAT stockpile. What a great idea to buy the Hillshire Farms meat and cheeses. I would have never thought to do that, brilliant!!! Your can racks are amazing! Thank you for sharing with us. Stay safe, God bless
I use the Hunts spaghetti sauce all of the time. I add some frozen meatballs to a can and make a few noodles but I also make meatball subs with mozzarella cheese and hot dog buns. I live alone so I am learning to make smaller batches of food.
I love that I see items from the "Reject Rack" with the price hand written on them. I look at those racks every time I go food shopping. So many wonderful items at super cheap prices! Well done my friend!! Also the bucket wrench, is used to open the 55 gallon water storage plugs, and used to turn on and off the gas, at the meter outside your home. Great tool to have.
I’m real late to the game. I appreciate it so much how you are showing people as you learn. It makes me feel motivated. You did a great job prepping in limited space! I’ve even seen some people fit short boxes and low plastic bins under sofas and certain raised dressers. I was also thinking maybe for those with sofas against walls, push the sofa a little forward that was you could store some cans or other supplies on the floor between the back of the sofa and the wall where no one could see it and get one of those tall, really narrow tables that people have in hallways by the front door where they drop their keys and stuff...put that behind the sofa over the supplies that are on the floor to hide them and also offer a surface to put something on top like a vase or some kind of decor. What I mean is like how they sell those free standing headboards, it would be like that for behind the couch or get one of those free standing headboards with a shelve of open storage space built into it. Have you tried putting cans, jars, and boxes of supplies under your bed? The can racks outside the closet...could you fit one in each bedroom closet under hanging clothes to free up space between the pantry and the bathroom?

Just something to think about with the glass jars on the top shelf. You do not have to live in an earthquake prone area for an accident to cause them to fall. We had an explosion at a plant 18miles from us and the ground shook. Car windows were blew out from the pressure as far as 7 miles away from the blast. My point accidents happen that’s why they are called accidents lol a simple solution is besides putting them in a cardboard can good flat from the grocery store you can take a $1 poster board from dollar tree that has the layer of styrofoam in the middle can be cut in strips and placed between the row of jars. Then taking two small eye hooks and put them into the side walls and stretch one of the thin braided bungee cord across helps to keep items in place. IF an accident happened you might NEED your preps they are no good broken. Stay safe best wishes
Wow Liz. That’s a valid point. I’ll make sure to relocate the jars. Thanks for sharing the tips about the cardboard and bungee cord too! Hope you’ve been doing well sweetie. ❤️
Thanks so much for showing the finished (well "ongoing") project! I love both the over-the door shelf and the can racks. Definitely will put them both on my next "to order" Amazon list!
Love the pantry space. I love those can racks. I got a few myself. I was talking to you when you were trying to put that gamma lid on. That ring part does snap on 1st and stays on. Now you only have to unscrew then lid and walla in and out in a breeze. I use gamma lib buckets for things I'm getting into often. Otherwise use that flat lids for things you aren't getting into say for 6 months, 12 months or 2 years. With the flat lids you'll definitely need that tool. But the ring on the gamma bucket doesn't need to be removed. But if you have a bucket that's cracked you'll want to remove the ring of the gamma lid and put it on a new bucket. That tool will come in handy then. Been watching you since you only had about 30 subs. Love your style. you have a nice, calm and pleasant voice. Thanks for sharing.

I really enjoyed this video! It gave me ideas on how I can better organize my supply! Everything looks so nice neat and well put together!! Thank you so much for sharing! ❤️
It's a good looking pantry....though from a cost standpoint i personally wouldn't buy the rolled oats from Augason Farms, what i would do instead is buy another one of your food grade buckets, some regular rolled oats and vacuum seal them in some way canning, mylar or vacuum sealer bags....it has the same 30 year shelf life and works out at a fraction of the cost....the one thing i would buy from Augason Farms is the dried eggs...worth it's weight in gold
Thank you! Also, buying rolled oats and storing them in a 5 gallon as you mentioned, is much more cost effective. I think that’s what I’ll do. I’ll also have to make sure to check into the eggs as well. Thank you for the suggestions and thanks for watching!
New subby here from Scotland , great pantry stock 👍 I'm a fan of PegiandDon too they are a hoot . Look forward to watching more of your videos . Stay safe and well .❣
Welcome Sandra! Thanks so much for subscribing! Wow, how are things in Scotland? Pegi and Don are awesome people aren’t they? Thanks so much for watching. Stay safe! ❤️
FYI, your wrench is also a bung wrench, meaning if you get the blue water barrels it will open the bung holes on the top of the barrels. Augason farms sells them.
@@worldofappolonia I thought of you . My toe was feeling great, until it wasn’t lol. I bumped it getting off the couch, F bombs may have been flying . It looks great but it’s still not healed. I refuse to go in!! Really what will he do? I’m old (56) I heal slow . I bet it’s only been 2-3 weeks.
You can store apples in newspaper for up to 9 months like potatoes. But don't store them in the same space apple lets out a gas that will make potato it onion ripen faster. I store apple potatoes onions in panty hose hanging and garlic. As well as eggs in mineral oil in a plastic storage bin I n my garage. Also get the packets for gravy they take less space and are portable as well as ranch and italian dressing packets. Buy glass jar items to cut down on BPA to in the cans which is bad for you. God bless jenny
Thanks for sharing Jenny. I’ve never heard that about apples. I have a ton of the packets of gravy too! I think I have too many at this point. They’re in another part of the pantry. 😉 Hey, I thought about the BPA liner in cans when I first started prepping. I was actually kind of leary of cans when I first started prepping for long term for that reason. I’ve noticed that they’re switching out liners with a lot of foods and using BPA free liners which is awesome! I know that a lot of Aldi products are BPA free! Thanks so much for watching! God bless you too 🙏🏽💜
Thank you for your share... I’m looking into getting more options of food & more veggie protein! Our family has also invested in stocking on everyday medical care & vitamins, a makeshift toilet (if the sewage shut down), batteries for our soar panels, soil to grow more food in doors & healthy oils. Really, every family needs are different depending on their situation, financial condition & living corners. But... being smart & prepared for just anything is the best & smart thinking! God bless
Dawn, it sounds like you and your family are well prepared. It’s a good feeling to have items on hand at all times. You just reminded me to make sure that I have a makeshift toilet, just in case. Thanks so much for watching! God bless you and your family too. 🙏🏽❤️
I quit eating Manwich years ago because it was not the same as when I grew up and when I raised my kids. We loved it. I tried a can a few years ago and could not eat it. Have you tried GV tuna? My son stayed with me a few weeks and left some. He said keep it but I'm funny about my tuna. I didn't tell my kids that it was GV and they loved it and now it's all I buy. I got tired of picking out bone and other yucky stuff out of the brand name one. Your cabinet looks great.

Yarnprepper, I hope you’re doing well. I had no idea, thank you!
@@worldofappolonia I forgot to add that’s what those squarish bumps are on the wrench head.
Don’t allow to touch. Rots quicker. Great store. ☺️👏🏽
LOVE the Hunt's Meatloaf. Haven't seen it in stores for years.
Very inspiring!!! I hope your pantry will encourage others.
Thank you so much Linda! ❤️
Sherry Lee, I’m not sure what they changed, it wasn’t broke so they shouldn’t have “fixed” it lol. I haven’t tried GV tuna but I’m willing to. I’ll have to pick some up.
Thank you so much Sherry!
@@worldofappolonia lol exactly! Let me know how the Manwich is.
Just try one can of tuna. We LOVE it. The mess I kept finding in the other just wasn't good. This just taste better. Lmk what you think:)
Finally got to watch this. Amazing!
Thanks so much Mercedes.
Thank You so much Appolonia 😁
We went to Tractor Supply today and I didn’t notice any buckets. Usually things like that are sitting out.
Thistle did you by chance check the very top shelves. I know my store had some put up on the very top rack where you had to ask an employee to get them down.
@@worldofappolonia I didn’t but we’re going back to Tractor Supply tomorrow for a trailer. I’ll look then. Thanks
Put your panko in the freezer so they won’t go stale. You’ll over double the shelf life
Thanks for the tip!
I LOVE Keystone Meat Products 🤔🤔 They're Expensive BUT Worth/ 5 Year's Expires Date on IT ❤💪
Absolutely! The first time I saw them I’m like no way, they’re too expensive. The 5 year date makes it worth it!
@@worldofappolonia YEAH they're Expensive / I Find THEM at Some Wal-Mart across the United States Hit and Miss Spots, chicken about $6.44/ Beef about $7.88 a can I Hadn't Gotten any Turkey YET but I'll Find it and put it in MY Prepping Pantry TOO, THANKS and Y'all BESAFE 💪
@@worldofappolonia I bought 4 cans from Amazon last summer when they were $4.xx/can That was the only Keystone I could find anywhere. Aster watching Alaska Prepper pressure can chicken, I started canning my own meat and never looked back! Much cheaper when I can buy the meat on sale.

I started pressure canning all types of meat , when they're on sale. It is waaaaay cheaper than buying canned meat, but I was terrified at first. Lol
You're doing a great job!
Cynthia, I’m almost right there with you....almost. Lol! I think I’m going to can chicken within the next two weeks. 😬 I’m still terrified! Thanks so much for watching! 💜
Homestead Heart has some great videos on canning meat. I just started recently, too. It’s a great way to put up those sale meats.
Great pantry and so organized! You have done a great job! Hugs❤️
Thank you Terra Ranch! ❤️
You did a really good job friend I really like what you did with your space it looks really good. May I ask where did you get the clear see-through vinyl piece across your shelves? Thank you for sharing keep the videos coming talk to you later ♥️
Hey, hey friend! I purchased from Amazon! I left a link in the description box. ❤️

Great idea of writing the price on the can then u can know if price went up
Great video you gave me an idea wit the racks thanks 😊
Thanks so much! Also thank you for watching!
I really like the different foods you have in your pantry. So organized. How long did it take to get all of this?
The pantries look great. I utilized a small hall closet as well but I had so much stuff on the shelves that my husband was afraid they couldn't take the weight. Moved a lot to my basement and have three shelving units. 😊 I love to can too and I know you were looking for some channels. Check out That 1870s Homestead. She is amazing! Keep up the good work!
Thanks so much Vicki! I bet your prepper pantry looks great! I’ll make sure to check out the channels you recommend too! Thanks so much for watching!
Great videos! I went back to some older ones but still can’t find one where you talk more about the GV Pizza sauce. What do you like about it? Besides pizza, what do you use it for?
I LOVE your channel. You are so friendly, genuine and sweet. Thank you and God bless you and all your loved ones with grace, peace, wisdom and discernment in Jesus’ Holy Name. Amen. 😁🙏🏼❤️

Where did you get the shelving from?
I love those racks you have for your cans. Do you still have the link for them?

Great pantry video. Where did you get the shelves to hold your canned goods?

Oh no, lol. Just so you know, you can do order online store pick up. Once the item(s) ready they’ll email you. From there, just pull up to the store, call to let them know that you’re outside. A store associate will bring it out to you and load it up. Easy and you don’t have to do any lifting until you get home! 😉
Nice!!
Thanks SC! Hope you’re doing well.
What kind of mats do you have on the shelves can you leave a link for the can storage
Hi Tom and Nancy! I pinned a comment with the link and it’s also in my description box now. Thanks so much for watching! ☺️
Huge, impressive prep !! Are you working on rotating and using as the dates allow? Or have I jumped the gun and that’s to come with you? I’ve had a very keen interest in prepping for a number of years and have joined prepping groups on social media- valuable knowledge and skills to be found there,so I was naturally attracted to your channel... I was going to ask something else, but il wait for the next part. Nevertheless- this is an epic, impressive haul ,well done 🙌👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you so much Glenda! We rotate some foods now, but I’m so new to prepping that I haven’t started heavily rotating yet. I just started prepping in August so most food has just been purchased more recently. That’s awesome that you’ve been prepping and into for so many years. I wish I had started a lot sooner. Thanks for watching!
