Haven't watched this when aired in the Philippines. After watching 49 days and loving it, I came to love Jo Hyun Jae's acting that I searched for his other dramas & came across with Love Letter. I may say, it's one Kdrama that I would never ever forget. It's sad but it's perfectly portrayed by the actors & actresses. I can guess that this had been Hyun Jae's breakthrough performance as an actor. The role was perfect for him, the angelic face & superb crying scenes with So Ae. Just loved Love Letter...
heart felting drama..at first, his childhood was a miserable memory and when he grew up, he wants to be a priest, just like his uncle..then, Eun Ha came to his life, and everything has turned upside down..he really gave up his orderned status for the woman who he really love but the lady wants to pursue his destiny to become a servant of God if he really loves her.. that kind of drama was a two thumbs up..
I tried hard to remember the title of this drama although I already forgot most of the story. I don't know why but just remembering this left me with pain. If this was in 2003, 17 years ago, I was just probably 11 or 12 years old back then, still, I remember the pain...
I never thought that this drama was aired in the Philippines at the year 2003 in GMA. I've watched most of Soo Ae's movies and dramas and this one is on my list now. Gotta watch it before it's too late.

At beginning I said to myself that it was such a nonsense weepy melodrama. For some reason unknown, I couldn't stop watching it. (I do usually stop, easily uninterested.) Because of the planned trip I couldn't finish it. After the trip I kept thinking of this series and went back to it. Such a sad story. With all little flaws in the plot and details, it has a great story of powerful love, clashes between characters, and their desperate struggle against destinies.
I just watched the final episode and I really want to know if they really start loving each other again!!!For me it was ambiguous since she called him Woo jin and not Andrea and the last scene when they are together he still wears the robe!!! ODo you have an idea? I don't think he will give up being a priest but THE love of his life is "back"!!
