Hmm realistic, very realistic. Does this game have Sherman tanks? If so do they die in 1-2 hits like the real ones did? I still remember watching a documentary where a German tank gunner saw a Sherman come over a hill and it shot at them hitting them right in the front. It bounced off to the right. German gunner took the shot and missed, hitting just right of the Sherman. The Sherman tank shot again and again it bounced off. This time the German gunner got his aim setup and one hit the Sherman was dead. Then he saw another come over the hill and shot it. Same thing, one shot and the crew was dead. He said he was shocked at how easy it was to kill them. Then he said the whole hill moved up, it was a full line of Sherman tanks, at least 12. That is when they retreated. The US won WW2 by numbers. German equipment was high quality craftsmanship, but they were spilt up on two fronts. With most of their tanks on the Eastern front.
The speed of reload for tiger is too slow. Should be faster in reality. The enemy must be a World of tank player. They always do this "can't be able to penetrate the front armor let's go for the command window"

It’s sounds almost the same as when something really heavy hits a ships hull you’re standing beside. which I’d imagine is close to what a tanker would here The heavy base thud followed by a dull bell noise. Shit feels like your eardrums are going to burst.
I believe they actually do have that exact sound. I was playing on a Pnz IV G and I deflected a incoming shell and this happened. this was after the new power update.
If they kept at it like that, eventually the armor would've degraded enough from continuous impacts that a shell might penetrate.. at least in real life it would anyway lol. I think at least one of those shells that hit the side went through though.
had a T34 85 make that same shot from 1000meters in warthunder. penned and killed the commander, injured the gunner. no damage to the loader and gun. miraculously. then anotber T34 hit the turret ring from 800 meters. had to fix it. spent the rest of the match bouncing their shells and exchanging fire.

There was a Tiger tank during WW2 that served on the Easter front, Tiger 231. In one day of battle it took 252 direct hits from Russian T34 tanks and Anti tank guns. It was totally battered, tons of parts broke but the armour remained unpenetrated. It then managed to retreat 60 miles back to base under its own power. All crew survived.
It's not the metal ringing. It's the shell spinning at very high velocity through the air. The shell loses it's aerodynamic properties after such a hit, so it starts to spin on its side, causing that sound, similar to a helicopter rotor.
@@JAnx01 Because it's effective at resisting Sabot and HEAT, especially when combined with other brittle composite materials meant to redirect and slow them down. These materials are also considerably lighter than Steel, so you don't have to have a massive fucking 2 foot long steel slab.
You can hear the armor of the tank vibrate as well. I work in the steel industry and this happens alot when we are banging on steel structures. The steel will vibrate considerably for a good amount of time.

Idk if y’all have ever watched that movie called “T-34” but, every time they get hit, it’s just an absolute nightmare inside the tank because of the shell having hit the tank and all of the noise just radiating around inside. I imagine that’s pretty much the same with this Tiger
We do when the round penetrates. Usually it's so loud we'll have no idea what hit us and from where. So we usually just try to get out of there. Communication inside the tank can be difficult during a firefight.

Honestly it's why I love games like this. So many little things make up the big battle. Wonder how many things like this have gone unseen. I personally love being in a tank crew and having soldiers from other squads run up and request help so you have to pop out to actually hear them etc.
