Maybe make a single sector where the Spore faction has a base instead of crux? If it works the same as neoplasm does then its gonna be a whole tier above Erad thats for sure. Maybe Extinction?
The concept of a living intelligent hivemind constantly expanding it's so different from everything else in the game yet so fitting, killing robots is cool and all but now fighting the living fauna of the planet you're trying to get resources from just sounds even cooler
