Hey! I love your videos and I have started to make my own bath bombs. I live in the Temecula area of California and a having an awful time with my bombs cracking...I have tried everything I can think of. I have been using the plastic molds, like in this video. That way they are packaged too;) I know it's a science...It's dry here, so is Arizona. I'm hoping for any wisdom you can shed. Your videos have inspired me and I look forward to each one... new and old!thank you 💕

Hi, usually I let them harden ll around the surface and then shrink wrap them. Keep one side exposed while it sits in the mold, then flip it over for the other side to dry. Do this every 20-30 minutes for about 3-4 hours. Then shrink wrap them. Air will still get in the shrink wrap which will continue to dry the bomb and the wrapping helps hold it all together while it dries, so there aren't any cracks. This trick is what I found that works for the recipe I use.

Try cutting back on the amount of liquids you use. Also, you gotta mix that stuff very vigorously and put in the liquid very slowly. A little at a time.

Can you use soap fragrance instead of essential oils instead or will it make a difference in the bombs or steamers? Thank you.

Essential oils are stronger so I would cut the amount in half and sub the rest with water.

What benefit is the salt? Is it like Epsom salts? Thanks!

It's not like epsom salts, but it does help soften the water for a relaxing bath. Plus, it makes the bombs look really cool!

Do you know how many 2.75 inch bombs this recipe will make?

I’m curious why you needed to add so much water to the mix? I am a novice bath bomb maker but I always spray with alcohol to wet it

Some people use water, others RA or WH. I live in a very dry climate, (average 5% himudity). Water works the best for my climate and elevation.

So I'm assuming the Himalayan salt replaces the citric acid in this recipe?
