question: When you connect all that with that little modul behind wall, can you light up the hue, with your phone app, when the wall switch is off ? If you have wall switch On/Off, can you power up lights with apk when your wall switch is Off ? please answer
Good idea but I absolutely hate that it runs on a battery. Like why? The switch is literally at the power already so why not have it connected instead of being wireless?
If connect two push buttons, can it be configured in a way that one button turns light on on single click and brighten the light on hold, and the second button turn light off on click and dims the light on hold?
Thank you for the great review/demo. Quick question: will the dimming feature also work when connecting the wall switch with two wall switch push buttons?
Perfect with a push button - instead of extending the neutral wire from the ceiling box, you just need to close the circuit and this thing works on batteries for almost 5 years. I’m going to purchase a lot of them to power my Hue GU10s!
I ripped all the switch wires out of my house. Just connect live and neutral right to the lamp fitting. Behind the wall switch there is no wire to be found anymore 🙂
Good video, straight to the point 👍. I think the pushbutton solution makes the entire smartlighting concept pointless. That implementation is even more annoying than a normal non-smart switch. But for normal switches it's nice. I'll be receiving 2 of these tomorrow, just experimental to see if i like it. If i do then i might buy another 10 of them. What i find awesome about this smart lighting stuff is that you can turn on and off your entire house with 1 button 😀. Like when you leave the house, punch the light switch next to the back or front door, poof everything dark 😀
I have the Jung 506TU push button switches and I can’t get them to function correctly! I selected “push button” correctly in the setup but when it’s done the push button doesn’t switch the lights on or off! One click it starts dimming down, another to stop dimming, and then the other direction. I’ve tried every orientation of the 2 wires in the 3 different hole sections. It actually works better if I select that it’s a rocker… Is this switch just not compatible with module’s push button functionality? Can anybody help? This is the switch I have: m.jung.de/en/online-catalogue/63907059/63907061/

Of course yes.

Does anything need to be configured to let the system know that the switch is a push (momentary) switch rather than a normal switch?

What kind of switches did you use for that? I tried on few different and dimming not working. From my point of view it's scam.
What Gira switches do you use? I thought I bought the same ones (015100) but don't think it's the right one.

Which pushbutton have you used in the dimming scenario. I did a test with a Jung 535u, but without luck.
Bij jou al gelukt?
